third time we stayed”

Have stayed here in March/April the last 3 years. Not typical tourist hotel, but very friendly and staff relatively fluent in English. Location is excellent for railway access to all points of interest, Multiple types of restaurants, local mall with small grocery store at end, and an outdoor promenade area that the wife reflected that felt like coming home when we arrived a week ago. Room small by US standards, but kept up very nicely.

Good hotel in shopping area ”

Hotel is not far from JR station and have shopping mall and shopping areas nearby. Has many restaurant and place to eat include café in front of hotel. Twin Room space is not much but OK to open 2 big bags. There is massage pillow instead of chair that we not try. However, we use massage chair at public bath that also have Jacuzzi, very relax. Breakfast is OK. Staff is nice. However, the rapid train from Kitasenju to Ueno/Tokyo is very crowded in the rush hours (7-9 AM) and not OK for traveler with big bags. So please spare your travel time to airport or get out earlier.

Need more time to spend here”

We just stayed for few hours in this hotel but it's very comfort. The staff's very welcome and we looveee the amenities, such a spoil :) The location is very good too, close to many attractions. Will stay here again if we go to Tokyo.

I love the public bath and the rock sauna. It's my very first time seeing there's a massage chair in your own room. Great staff, great service, great location, great facility and great breakfast!! Highly recommended.

Pleasant Stay”

Pros: excellent services by the staffs and they understand English. Facilities like the public bath was nice and comfortable place to relax. Laundry is also very easy to use plus washing liquid is also provided. Rooms are cleaned thoroughly Everyday. Food served in the breakfast were really good! Location to the public trains were really near, less than five minutes walk. Cons: unable to request for a double twin deluxe bed room even after booking with special request. Standard double room kind of feels like for single person cause I stayed with one more Friend.

This hotel are not hard to found , come out from hotel can find alot of restaurants , got provide public bathroom which like spa in japan and breakfast with free . No extra charger like hotel fee , free biscult and peanut when go in the room. SOME more got massage chair provide in each room. Thats it insane...

Home away from home”

Just finished spending 13 nights at Hotel Coco Grand Kita-senju last weekend. Although not a large room, very efficient use of space. Was surprised by how comfortable bed and pillows were, as I usually travel with my own pillow (in USA). Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast can be a little busy, but always something a little different every morning, but with staple choices also. About 3 blocks from train station, with plenty of restaurant, bar, and shop opportunities all around. Including a popular local sweet shop at the very entrance of the hotel, that has a line leading up to it every morning. Will most probably stay again when visiting my Grandson next year.

I really enjoy my stay at coco grand. great location. near station. the hotel staff really nice and smile a lot. they even gave me wine ( i did mention on my booking that our trip was our honeymoon trip) and congratulate us. the room is not big as expected. but all we need already in this room. the room has massage chair and we really happy to using that. :) i will be very happy to stay in this hotel for our next trip.

Only need ten minutes walk, then you can get to the Kita-senju metro station, and it is very convenient to find it after you landing at the Narita airport. The hotel facilities are very good, with free breakfast providing for all the guests and separate public bath room for both men and women. Each staff member is kind and polite. An electric massage chair is available in each type of room to help the tourists get relaxed after travelling across the metropolitan city-Tokyo during whole daytime. Very nice experience to remember the good time as we stay at the hotel. We are not reluctant to book the hotel once again if we could travel to Japan next time.

Good location”

Very good location . Near to train station . Very convenient as all through the streets are restaurants which u can eat in any time . Staff very helpful . Small Room but available with massage chair !!!! After a tired day of walking you can have massage which is such a good facility.

Reliable comfort and good location”

Returned to stay again at this hotel as it is convenient for getting into central Tokyo as well as outskirts. Rooms are good value compared to other Tokyo locations, comfortable and with very helpful staff. The breakfast is a not bad cold buffet, but there are innumerable places to eat in this area too.

Better than I expected”

I cannot fault this hotel on, location (trains), location ( cafes/restaurants ), staff helpfulness. Only slight problem was lack of English language signage in the 5th floor wash/microwave/ice room , the buffet breakfast was cool/cold, and the location (200m from West exit of Kita-Senju station ) might have been better described on the booking site. But the friendliness of the staff outweighed any niggles.

Spacious space for hotel in Japan, with massage chair in the room. Lovely onsen (public bath) at 2nd floor. Nice breakfast, especially the pudding :)

Best location”

Location couldn't be better. Metro, JR, and Tobu railway stations nearby with department stores and many restaurants. And breakfast is nice. Highly recommended!

My favorite hotel in Tokyo ”

Love this hotel, it's my second time stay here. I love the location, very close to train station. Also I love the public bath and tick sauna. The breakfast is nice. Would come back again.

Great stay and fun location”

The room was larger than other stays in Tokyo and also very well fitted and supplied, staff were welcoming and helpful and breakfast was good. The local area is filled with many small places to eat and drink, family shops and is seemingly quite off the tourist trail, but easy to get into the city via the subway and rail lines. The ground floor of the hotel seems to house a famous cake shop which had lines of people outside every day. We tested these cakes extensively, and can confirm they are high quality ...
