Hotel Mets Akihabara is literally just next to Akihabara Station - you can't get a better location than that! Opened in October 2019, the hotel feels new and modern. In terms of size, the rooms are typically Japanese, i.e. comfortably cosy. Having the hand sink and toilet separate from the bathroom makes it easier, I felt. A tip from another guest about sliding your luggage under the bed also helped free up space. The wi-fi was stable and the water pressure is great. Even though we were next to station, the soundproofing was great - we couldn't hear a sound from trains. The one tiny downside was a lack of hanging hooks - would have been nice to be able to hang towels without having to use hangers. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel restaurant - didn't need to, because there are plenty of cafes close by. We'd happily stay here again the next time we're in Tokyo!

Decent size room, great shower, great location”
We loved staying at this hotel. the staff were helpful, the location is perfect - very convenient to stay at the train station. It's not noisy at all, even though it's literally in the station. The room is quite "spacious" compered to rooms in Tokyo. We had a really nice view. Everything was clean and nice, they had great tea and shower salts in the lobby. I'd avoid the restaurant though, it's not that great and pricey.

New Hotel”
Hotel was recently built, everything we touched was nice and new. The check in and check out system is done on a new screen pad and it even gives you the keys through a slot. Unfortunately the check in and check out is time accurate, meaning no early check ins. The lift annoyingly always stops at level 2 for security reasons, you get over it after a few times. Downstairs is a convenient store, unfortunately not 24/7. The is a Lawson just in the alleyway in front, google it. The room we had was surprisingly big and we were able to fit all 3 big luggage spread out. The sink, toilet and showers are all separate. This was really good for us since we don't have to wait around for each other to finish with the bathrooms. The bed is an actual proper Queen size, unlike some hotel that claim they offer Queen size but it turns out to be a Double. Overall, we were super happy with the hotel and would definitely come back again!

New hotel in convenient location! ”
We stayed at this hotel for our time in Tokyo. The hotel was conveniently located literally right on top of the Akihabara station! Location was very popular for people who enjoys anime and the likes. The hotel was able to accommodate all our requests prior to checking in. Non-smoking room, large bed, upper floor, etc. Room was pretty average sized for hotels in Japan. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable.

Awesome location”
Awesome location (literally right outside akihabara station) and it's very clean. Self-check in and self-check out were done using machines by the counter at level 2, with staff on standby to help you out. Bathroom amenities were there for you to take whenever you want. Love the bath salts! Will come back again if staying in tokyo 💟

Small but Sufficient”
The room is like a budget hotel room size but its very well laid out, very clean and whatever is needed for the stay is available. Also since its beside the JR line, its very convenient. One note is, there isn't much space for you to open your luggage. So just give up sitting space etc to open luggage. Overall the room was pretty comfortable.

Best hotel in Tokyo”
Amazing brand new hotel literally right on top of Akihabara station so easy to go anywhere, nice views of Akihabara too. The beds are huge (queen size even though it says double) which is rare in Tokyo. The bathroom is like a mini onsen with a sit down shower and a bath tub with free bath salts at the concierge. The toilet is separate which is a nice addition, great temperature control in the room. Also with a 24 hour snack shop at the bottom. This will be my go to hotel in Tokyo hereon out.

Most convenient hotel”
Hotel is new, clean, staffs are professional and friendly. Location is prefect, it is on top of Akihabara JR Station, entrance is just right outside the exit. It is on the crowded and lively street, but doesn't feel any noise during my stay. Breakfast is nice, but could add more choices. Definitely recommend staying here.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel because it's located right next to Akihabara Station, sooo convenient. We're apprehensive before, if it's going to be noisy since it's beside the station and other stores, but NO. Felt like an oasis after a day of walking and shopping. There's a New Days konbini at the ground floor. Pablo and Family mart is just a few steps away. There's a Mcdonald's neaby. Check-in and check-out is fast and easy. Staff is very accommodating. Love to stay here again! In fact, we've recommended this place to a friend! Keep it up!

It's near in Akihabara Station. ”
I like everything about the hotel. The hotel staffs are nice. The facilities are good. What I like most is their bath and toilet. Since it's Japan, they are very strict when it comes to hygiene. The room is so clean. Even though we didn't ask for cleaning. We just surprised when we came back from trip that our is neat and clean. The most advantage of this hotel for me is the location. It is beside the Akihabara train station. It means very convenient for us if we go for a trip using the train as a main transpo. I really recommend this hotel. You won't ever regret it.

Onsen style bath and shower!”
Very new and nice hotel, Hotel provided various bath salts and the toilet was onsen style(sitting shower next to a separate bath). Didnt expect it and being new its v clean and nice. Location is superb also.

Hotel is just beside the JR Akihabara station. Very convenient. Quite a spacious room, comfortable bed, bath tub, and toilet are separate.

Can view the availability of laundromat (if anyone washing - able to view minutes before it ends.) it is just located beside the station exit( good if you are departing for Haneda airport (about 30mins away only). Staffs are helpful despite command of English is limited (used online translator helps)

I stayed there for 3 nights, I like the size of the room and the bathtub so much. It is located right next to JR station, less than 1 min walk, assessible to lots of shops and restaurants! Great hotel in toyko!

Amazing location right next to the station. Rooms are small, but that’s typical for Tokyo, but the bathroom was great! Japanese style bathroom with the tub and all. I will stay here again soon.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who values convenient location. The rooms are also very clean! The mattress is super firm and does not sink in. The staff are professional and they provide exceptional service. I would definitely stay here again!
