The location is very accessible and convenient. The place is impeccably clean. Threre are a lot of street food and restaurants in the area. The receptionist does not speak fluently in English but you can communicate with her using basic phrases.

This ryokan was very convenient to Asakusa metro station. The room was basic and clean and had an en suite. There was free coffee and snacks available in the lobby and also a coin laundry. If you haven't been to Asakusa before I would recommend it as, apart from the temple complex river, and Sky Tree, there is a lot of restaurants and shopping right there. If you are looking for an early breakfast I recommend Koh Hi? on the main road walking away from the metro on the same side. It opens at 7:30am. You may have to wait but its good value.

Very nice expirience for ryokan style room. Friendly staff, clean, near metro station, best money value. My room was beside the street, first night kind of hearing the noise from outside. Sleep well the rest of my stay. Wanted to stay here again on my last 3 night before heading home but was full.

Great ryokan worth for value”

The ryokan at the great tourist place and easily get to narita airport. The ryokan at the left hand side facing the 雷門, 4th row at the left side after the pharmacy 藥,the staff are friendly and helpful,the reception is complete with laundry machine,microwave,hot water pot,snack,coffe and tea Sachs,dining table and chairs and toilets. Just a little backside was the cleaner started to work and making noise at 7am so I am not able to wake up late :(

Best place to stay in Asakusa”

Senso-Ji & Kaminarimon are just stone-throw away from this lovely ryokan, the staff even waited for me until i checked-in there at midnight! Plenty of restaurants nearby, the famous tempura restaurant is just 3 blocks away! I like the traditional Japanese room, it's quite small for some traveler though...

nice stay with a convenient location to metro”

It is a nice small hotel for single or couple stay, which is nearby the metro asakusa station and just next to the asakusa famous kaminarimon. The service is good and the room is clean and comfort. The location is easy to find and there are so many delicious restaurants nearby too.

The staff were very kind, with Japanese style rooms and a fantastic location, right off the main site seeing street. The price was very affordable and provided a great base to enjoy Japan from. Will return!

We missed the check in time when arrived at the ryokan. Nobody there to check us in and need to find a nearby hotel to stay overnight. Only able to check in the next day. Luckily the hotel is nice and comfortable. Please call the hotel direct if you would to check in after 23:00

Friendly Front Desk & convenient shops around”

The Ryokan is nearby Asakusa station, food stalls, convenient stalls & the famous Sensoji Temple. Besides, the receptionist is very helpful and were there to help me throughout my stay. We enjoy our stay there.

this is like a family style hotel, very japanese traditional. they offer meal but u have to pay, outside is a shopping street many fancy japanese stuff to buy . further more the end of this street there was a japanese temple. lots of people go there, and the hotel is near train station , you can go other places easily.

Nice hotel with the best food, scenery and Onsen”

Very impressive hotel -- nice atmosphere for all ages. Roast beef and corn soup at the lunch buffet is exceptional. We live on the same floor with On-sen facility. It is great and very convenience. Room is very nice -- nice view from the room in the early morning. Only short walk to Hakone bus station. Nice surrounding.

Great location, cozy rooms”

Helpful receptionists. They have a curfew at 11pm, but you can always get a keycard from them if you are going to return late. Clean japanese styled rooms with attached bathroom. This quiet ryokan is by the side of the Nakamise(shopping street). 5 mins walk to Rox(24 hour supermarket at the basement). Awesome location!

Nice place to stay, people he”

This location is very close to Sensoji Temple, and you can see the Tokyo tree. The surrounding food and transportation are very convenient. The key is that the butler and service are in place. Although the room is a bit small, the price is very high, and it is already a very cheap price nearby. We really enjoyed this trip and accommodation, enjoyed a very good service and were very warm and courteous. I look forward to visiting Tokyo again next time.

Very convenient location to Sensoji Temple. Very traditional style, has evelator which is a plus. Staff is very helpful, we asked for a recommendation for a restaurant and she gave us a great one very near.

Superb”

Very very well located, couldn’t be nearer to the Senso-ji temple, literally! Room is tatami style with compact wc, comfortable and clean daily, have to compliment the housekeeping for giving a fresh pressed yukata on a daily basis. The only thing I would say is that they should allow residents to bring friends back into the room, not to stay overnight but to be able to catch up properly instead of doing by the reception on ground floor which they provide a space to sit and chat. Overall a pleasant stay, will stay here again!

Excellent little room”

I have nothing but good things to say about this place - the little tatami room I rented was cute and super clean, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful in spite of the fact that I speak just a tiny amount of Japanese. Asakusa is a good place to stay, with the temple so close by and some nightlife just a little further, and three rail stops within five minutes walk means the rest of the city is very convenient too.

Great location, great service, and traditional experience”

The family that runs this Ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) is so sweet. The rooms are beautiful with mat floors, 6 inch thick mattresses topped with comfortable bedding, good air conditioning, robes, slippers, and tea. You are also just 2 or 3 blocks from Senso-ji Temple, in a large shopping and food market area full of ramen shops, and about .5 km from the metro Ginza line that goes to central Tokyo and other areas.

Great and convenience place to stay”

Location was so great, 5 mins walk to Asakusa or ginza skytrain. 25mins walk to Ueno. Close to all malls and good restaurants. They offer daily cleaning and and change towels everyday. Staff is friendly and helpful with places to eat or visit. Strongly recommend and definitely won’t be the last time to stay ☺️

The traditional room was small for 2 adults, esp. the bathroom. But the room was clean, good A/C, and staff was very kind to help me call to the Korean air office to change my flight with no extra fee. The location is excellent, inside the Kaminarimon Gate (Senso-ji temple). I booked the hotel in the cherry blossom season, so the price was a litte bit higher than usual.

The best thing about this ryokan was the staff--they were so accommodating and helpful! Like most Japanese hotels, everything you needed was there so you can travel light. Had this place booked for the first 2 nights of our trip around Japan and ended up booking for the last night of our stay as well. It is also a great location!
