Close to Shinjuku Station, but make sure you go out the East Exit.. Room was as requested and no problems at check in. Coin laundry would be a wonderful addition for guests - hotel service very expensive. The other negative-don’t eat at the buffet restaurant for dinner. We ate there on our last night in Tokyo & at 8 pm they weren’t restocking the hot dishes even though it stays open until much later..

Location is unbeatable, in the center of all food and shopping area. Room is quite big for tokyo size (i booked for triple room). The only thing weird was they didn’t wash the tea cup i used so i need to wash it by myself. We stayed there for 6 nights,, and definitely will be back there!

Prince Hotel shinjuku”

Hotel upgraded us to a 3 beds room, which was neat n comfy. Location was great n was just 3 min walk from the metro station, n there were lots of shopping malls n restaurants nearby.

nice hotel accessible to all ”

very nice hotel , perfect for family with kids , nice staff at with tourist desk attending all your needs however if you will book this try to pay using credit card don't pay on at hotel since conversion is to high .

It is connected to an underground system w many shops, restaurants and the train. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.

Good stay”

Centrally located. GU department store in rhe 5th floor of building. There are lots of eating places nearby(Mcdonald s). They have a mini grocery in the building. There is a don Quixote 7 11 nearby. Breakfast is ok bread bacon sausage miso soup and more. Room is clean but as usual small. Stayed in a double room, no cabinet but with orovisions to hang clothes. Will I book again. Yes in October definitely. I like it very much because you can enjoy a walking shinjuku shopping(Odakyu/lumine).

the concierge staff for checking in was polite and decent. but the staff for checking out however, were awful. i informed them a day prior to my departure that i needed a cab. on the morning of my departure to the airport, they informed me that they didn't book a cab for me. the staff tried to do a street hail, failed, and handed me 2 umbrellas, telling me that i had to haul my luggage across more than a mile in the rain in order to catch the airport limousine. room was clean, but small. upon entry, if you were to open your luggage, you couldn't walk around. but considering the location, space is a premium.

Good locations, many restaurants nearby hotel as well as convenient shops and also not that far from train station but the sound insulation of my room not good enough because I could hear the next room snore and their conversation very clearly

Small, old and smelly toilet”

The lobby seems to have newly renovated. The rooms however is an entire opposite. So old and small. The toilet as what other travellers posted on the reviews, are smelly that I didn’t even want to open the door.

Very Convenient Location”

When you're the type that books package tours, this is the perfect place to stay since most of these tours have this hotel as their meeting place. Also at the heart of the city and near Shinjuku Station so really a good place to stay. Compared to the second hotel we transferred to (since hotel is fully-booked we needed to transfer on our last day), this hote is much much better than the nearby APA Hotel. Each floor has vending machine to buy your fave snacks and of course beers! Hot water is also free near the vending machine.

Great accommodation”

Location is ok. Quite a distance from the train stations we need to get to but restaurants and convenience stores are nearby. Everything you need is just a short walk - no need to travel far. Service by staff is excellent. We would always get assistance in getting to where we need to. Staff would go the extra mile for their service. Great pick up point for tours as well. Rooms a bit small but expected for Tokyo hotels. Shower water pressure is excellent.

Great location”

Hotel is walking distance to everything. Staffs were very helpful. My son was sick on our last day of staying. They are very caring and help us with reading the medication label and calling the hospital.

Can Always Count on the Prince”

I've been staying here for over ten years. I can always count a clean room and friendly staff. Located close to the JR East gate and at the border of kabuki-cho so it it can get a little busy with noisy and rude tourists from the east. Regardless, you can't beat its location to food, drink and the station.

Very good location, staff services are superb”

The hotel location was excellent for shopping and accessible to any transport. Breakfast is very good. Staff services is excellent. Although the water in Japan is safe for drinking, but we were used to an accommodation that provides a complimentary bottled water inside the bedroom and drink from it. Buying a bottled water from the convenience store, gives a little inconvenience and added cost. Given the rate of the hotel room, an added complimentary bottled water will the room rate.

Location!!!”

Very good location! surrounded by many restaurants, shops, art stores,... Hotel is clean, Room is clean, size little bit small but you can not expect more at this price and this location. Hotel Staff are nice and willing to help customer. Breakfast is TOO expensive, not for this level traveler.

Location is great, if you booked “newly renovated room” the room would be quite spacious. Would recommend to friends!
