Highly overrated ”

We booked two connecting room via Agoda, but at the end it was two adjacent rooms. I am sure the photo shown at Agoda is two connecting rooms- that is the main reason we booked it . Not sure if it is Agoda or the hotel making mistake. The manager did help to arrange 1 out of 3 nights for connecting room tough. Location is prime, but not as prime as imagined, plus there are some women suspected selling sex services nearby, guess some red lights district around. I have travelled to all over Japan for more than 30 times( yes, 30s at least), breakfast is the least and basic one not good enough, so after first day, I simply skipped the other two ones , which is free of charge though. Rooms are not so clean, walls will scratch and signs of dirt. The coin washing machine doesn’t work, water leaked out plus drying machine stopped and go and stopped, at the end we need to dry our basket of clothes for 600 yens by putting coins to keep it going ( 300 yens for40-60 mins will do in most case).

Booking with no breakfast is better”

I stayed here for 5 days as it is convenient to go to Ueno or Tokyo for shinkansen. The town of Ueno-Okachimachi is great for shopping both for fresh food (sashimi) and cheap cuisine and fashion. The hotel is a little bit behind the market zone so it is quiet at night. Hotel is clean inside and outside the room. Laundry service is available by 200 yen totally. The light in the room is yellow so it is not good for working inside at night. Staff is nice. Breakfast is not memorable and space to eat seems not enough during the crowded time (7 a.m.). The start time is 6:30 so I missed 2 breakfast 'cos I have to move in early morning. Comparing to cheap food outside, I'd better book without breakfast and eat outside.

Good hotel all staffs are very nice, always smile. Location is good near JR Okachimachi and Tokyo Metro Subway-Hibiya line/Oedo line/Ginza line are very convenience to go anywhere and Shopping near around. Hotel provide free breakfast is good taste, if next time I’ll stay this hotel is the best choice.

The hotel is situated opposite to Takeya shopping complex. It is very closed to JR and Subway stations (within 2-4 mins). Family mart is within a walking distance. It’s also closed to Ameyoko street. Recommended!!!

Super Value in Okachimachi UENO”

Perfect staff can speak english. Staff told all the hotel n room information clearly in english. The room is small but can sleep 2 person comfortable with big long 1m pillow and can take extra pillow at lobby. Bed size is about 140 - 150cm wide. 3 min walk to a lot of delicious japanese local restaurant. A family mart just beside the hotel. 3 min walk to JR Okachimachi station. 2 min walk to subway naka okachimachi station. 15 min walk to JR keisei Airport Line.

Location is great. Easily accessible and near train stations and shopping areas like Ameyoko, Takeya, etc. and also restaurants and coffee shops. Hotel serves good breakfast in its mini buffet. There are choices for a healthy Japanese and Western breakfast. Hotel staff are helpful and accommodating. There are some who can communicate well in English which is a lot of help. This is my third time to stay in Super Hotel and would love to stay again when I return with a friend. Overall, it is a good and convenient place to stay while visiting Tokyo. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Place is clean. Food is great. Staff are friendly! Especially the filipino staff. All is great when you stay here! Super recommended. Also near shops, convinience store and train!!!! What more can you aske for!

Great Value”

Stayed at this hotel in late October 2018. The location is pretty good from the JR Okachimachi station and close to the Okachimachi subway station serving the Hibiya line. If exiting the JR Okachimachi station, I suggest exiting the south entrance. From there, turn left, cross one street (I believe), then at the next street turn right and the hotel should be on the right. If exiting the subway (Hibiya) line, exit at gate 4. The included breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. The hotel room was small, but standard for Japan. Breakfast opened at 6:30 which was good for us. I suggest going down at opening time to get a place to sit and eat. It can get crowded. The one thing that I did not care for about this place is that there is only one elevator. So when it is busy (breakfast / check in / check out) you may have to wait a while since the elevators may be full. I would stay here again.

A very convenient and value for money hotel”

Conveniently located and a short walk from okamachi station for the JR Yamanote line. The hotel serves breakfast with quite a good variety! And the staff are very friendly! The rooms are basic but serves us well! We were offered a connecting room which works great for us! Loved their whole environmentally friendly concept of the hotel! Overall a very pleasant stay and very worth the money too. Thank u Lohas hotel group for the awesome experience

Best location in Ueno-Okachimachi”

Fantastic location close to Ameyoko, Uniqlo Building (department store with basement supermarket and food court and restaurants on top floors), Takeya (another department store) and train stations (Naka Okachimachi, Ueno). Breakfast variety for both local and foreign tourists, very friendly, polite and helpful reception staff, room is compact but very clean with slippers, an air ioniser, water ioniser, kettle and a fridge. If you fill in their survey form, you will get some treats. If you return their toothbrushes, you also get to pick some more treats. You pick your own pillow, you get your own Japanese-style pyjamas and everyday from 3pm, ladies get to pick 5 different toiletries from a tray.

Good breakfast and very near train station (Okachimachi for JR and Naka-okachimachi for subway”

Highly recommended when you stay in Ueno area. Very near train station and serve good breakfast as well. Lots of restaurant and bars in the area (Ameyoko). Near Family mart and starbucks.

Perfect location, extra amenities”

Can easily access multiple stations. Close to convenience stores and restaurants including halal ramen Ayam-ya. Breakfast is fulfilling and the wifi works perfectly. Ladies have access to additional amenities which can be picked up at the lobby. You can also choose your own pillow!

Overall experience”

The hotel is okay. Love the location. It's near the train stations and A LOT of shops and restaurants nearby. The only downside is the check out time which is 10am instead of 12pm for most hotels. You can extend your stay for that day with a small price. I hope next time they can adjust the time of check out. The room is typical small. Couples with 1 child would fit. But having a lot of luggages will give you a hard time to move around. They provide a lot of freebies in the check in counter. Pillow is self service. Pillows are located in the front desk with different kinds of pillows which is good. But you must be early because sometimes some guests tends to get a lot of pillows. Staff are great. Though front desk staff should be more fluent in English. Overall experience is good.
