4D3N Stay in Deluxe Room (King Bed)”
We stayed for 4D3N - RM453.90 with breakfast (means RM151.30 per night) for two adults. Kids (3 y/o and 1 y/o) dine for free. Booked through Agoda. Although we went on weekdays (Sun to Wed) the crowd is there. If you are late for breakfast (probably around 8am above) be prepared to que, but the staffs are quick to assist you. The room is spacious with balcony. We have king bed and there's also a sofa. The room is clean except for very minor thing like I founded a strand of hair on the bed, small part of the sheet at lower side of the bed are torn and yes if you look carefully the dust is at each corner of the lamp and table. The reception and housekeeping service is excellent. We get new towels and toiletries every day. Seeing us with small kids the housekeeping offered extra plastics for the dustbin and extra bottled water with coffee and tea. The reception helped to retrive back the swimming pants which fell into other room's balcony. Thank you so much. The pool is located at Level 9 and the wind can be too strong most of the times which means, your kids will get cold easily. They provide towels at the pool but you cannot take it to your room. Bring extra towels to wrap them after the swim yeah. We enjoyed the infinity pool (need proper swim attire or else you are not allowed to swim, unlike in the mini water park where t-shirt and pants are allowed) not as cold as the mini water park, no crowd (basically nobody, everyone goes to the park) because it's a bit hidden from the wind - it's indoor. Breakfast is good for the rate of RM20++ (if you wish to add on separately), I would give 4/5. Kids are not allowed to enter the buffet area, and you must wear mask with plastic glove provided by the staff to take your food. They have nasi lemak, noodles, baked beans, chicken sausages, chicken slice, potato wedges, 3 selections of cereal (granola I think/coco crunch/honey star/cornflakes), egg and waffles station, pastries (crossaint with 1 or two other sweet pastry), s

Advantage 1. Room is consider luxury n clean with nice view. 2. Cleaner are polite and very fast in room making yet it is clean although they are not Malaysian. Appreciated their working attitude. 3. Location although not so close to the downtown but still with a walk distance of 5 to 10 mins can reach there. Or u can use grab for a few ringgit only to reach ur destination. Btw, up and down the mall got attractions like the shore sky tower and the aquarium plus some toy museum. Thus it is quite convenient to go to these attractions also. Another one will be the shore jetty also quite near to the hotel where u can ride a boat the view the melaka River, I strongly recommend this one to u guys. 4. Breakfast also with good food selection and good ambience. Disadvantages 1. If you wish to late check out after 1 pm, you will be charged for RM 150 something till 6pm check out. 2. The lift problem, actually it is not a big deals as I stay for 3 nights, I only faced the problem once.

Firstly the Location and Facilities are great value,i would recommended this hotel for leisure and business.room are big and comfortable.The staff was polite and very helpful.the breakfast follow the SOP KKM make us feel safe to enjoy the breakfast. the only thing concern me is ,on second day i put my room on "DND" sign ,but the housekeeper still entering my on top of that they took my spare key card ,i reported to FO but they just said i can collect new key card from them,what was concerning is someone had my room key card and they can come back and entering my as they like and i feel not safe to leave my belonging in the room unattended.I don't really understand why they took my spare key card purposely or had bad intention.I hope higher Management to look into this matter seriously as it involving safety & security of your hotel.Thank You.

However, after we enjoyed the scrumptious hi-tea & decided to go to our rooms, we found out the other 2 rooms were not ready yet until much later in the evening. Despite that one small hiccup, our stay was an enjoyable one. They allowed us a complimentary late check out and they were kind enough to place us on the same floor, side to side. Breakfast buffet was amazing too. All in all, a worthy stay.

Nice ambience hotel with efficient employees”
The whole hotel smells good.nice city view from balcony and cozy feeling. Downside is the kids water park, pls avoid the one slide which is the tunnel covered slide. My elder son, hurts his hand somehow in it on his fingers( he mentioned his finger got stuck while sliding down) ,and another , my younger son lost some skin on the palm right after sliding the slide too. Many kids, more kids than volume of water, the water is cloduy, indicating bacterial bloom and true enough both kids were down with stomach flu, vomtting and pooing rite after back to the room after playing in the pool. Kids were 6 and 7 years old. Sick up to today,a day after, back home now. Apart from this pool that i would avoid in future for my kids, i would still come back to the hotel. I loved the sound of adzan and quran reading from a mosque nearby, very peaceful. Sky garden is cool too. Definitely will come back again! Thats all

Superb facilities, walking distance to jonker street, nice ambience and surrounding. Very neat, clean, and spacious room. Complimentary drink at 30th floor Sky Bar. Super nice view of Malacca! Breakfast has variety of choice! Big swimming pool with children playground, a good place for kids. Hotel staff are polite and providing very good service! Tq Carpark space is sufficient and feeling safe. Very convenient hotel as it is on a shopping center.

I would usually read the reviews before booking a hotel. But I didnt do it for this. Only after confirming my stay with the hotel, then I saw the negative reviews about the hotel. By then, its too late to cancel because my booking is non refundable should I cancel. Upon reaching, there was 4 rows of guests queuing either to check out or check in. Waiting time about 30mins before I was served. Let it go maybe cos it was during the school holidays. Got my room, n it was splendid. I had the top floor as requested, adjoining rm with a king n twin bed as requested. The best part the whole building is non smoking. So it doesnt have that stale smoke smell. First night one of the toilet was choked. It was abt 7plus when we informed the hotel the issue, n the hotel addressed the issue immediately. After that, the rest of my stay went along smoothly.

Room was very clean and tidy, facilities was good and there are many restaurants behind the hotel itself. This is the first time i stayrd here and will stay here again after this. Just need to improve the washroom water hole as we take our bath, water going off very slow. Maybe something stuck. And please provide plastic for the dustbins.

Fast check in, front office staff at reception, a Chinese woman is very helpful and deserve a 5 star rating from me but unfortunately I forgot to ask her name. Room is quite spacious, comfy bed, nice bath tub, the 3 young men from housekeeping staffs are excellent in keeping our room and toilet clean and tidy at short period of time, food is tasty, croissant is fluffy, we love everything about Swiss Garden Hotel Melaka.

Pros- Nice room, nice view, fabulous swimming pool for the kids & adults. Exceptional staff particularly Mr. Aiden & Mr. Farhan. I accidentally left my laptop at the hotel lobby after check out, Aiden saw the laptop and kept it for me at the front office. Really appreciate it very much. Cons- Room condition is ok. But housekeeping needs to check & wash the cushions. They were smelly. Resulted the whole room became smelly. Also, need to brighten up the room a lil bit as its a bit too dark. The room we stayed 21020, the water hose for the bath tub leaks terribly and wet the entire bathroom floor. Overall, will definitely choose Swiss Garden as a place to stay whenever we are in Malacca next time. Thanks

Pros Staffs were pleasant and vey helpful. Check-in was done fairly quickly although there were many guests wanting to get their room at the same time. Traffic management in front of lobby was done professionally ensuring smooth flow of cars. Breakfast buffet line was quite good, balanced choices of Malaysian and Western food. Waiters were very attentive, used plates on table were picked as soon as they were finished. Water temperature in bathroom was spot on. The first hotel that I’ve to that have the water temp just right even if tap was turned all the way full to hot. Pool boy was very helpful and did not slack in cleaning up mess and water drips. Cons Room maintenance needs to be improved. Water hose at bath tub was leaking, causing wet bathroom floor. Sliding door at shower also did not really help to prevent water splash when taking bath. Some of room tv channels were not available although included in list (i.e Disney XD channel). WiFi signal was very weak till the point not connectable at all (stayed at farthest room from lift). No security patrol seen in parking space.

My stay during 11th Oct 2019 - 13th Oct 2019. My room on the 1st day in my room I step on a sharp thing on the map at first I thought was just a small stone maybe so I ignore although it was abit pain. But on the 2nd day stay I eventually step in it again and this time it bleed on the thumb toe. So I check carefully on the map then I realised there was a board underneath the map n a roll of nails can been seen. One of them point slightly 45 degrees upright and that was the one I step n bleed. After that I inform the receptionist about the matter and she did take a photo of what I photo on the nail. And she apology to me again. I hope it can be repaired so next guest will not get injured because of this, thks

We are frequent travellers to Malacca. I have stayed in various hotel and found that the Swiss Garden was the best I have stayed. Beds are comfy, sufficient pillows, had requested for extra towels and it was delivered fast. Great views - had a good river night view looking outside lying on the bed. Spacious and clean even my daughter told me it was one of the greatest hotel stay they had..just lacking the bath tub. We stayed at the Shore and experience was not too great. Shopping mall was sufficient and having meals around the hotel was a breeze. You can go for resturants to the local food. We love the food stalls near the hotel. cheap and nice. Walking to Jonker was around 20 -30 mins and had lots to see. Looking forward to stay on my next trip!

It’s a long planned trip, eventually everything’s great. The rooms are spacious, clean, the view from room and from the bar is excellent. I really have a good sleep at this hotel. Hotels surrounding is well maintained. Pool area is clean, The staff are friendly and helpful. Minus 1 star because that’s some problem occur during my stay, but the hotel FOM Mr.Arshad manage to reach me and explain regarding why the situation happen. This gesture really makes you feel warm as you’ll feel that the hotel is really concern about the customer satisfaction and they try to improve it. It’s glad to hear that our review is being listen, and they have taken action to solve our problem. This is a 9/10 stay, will consider this hotel next time if we plan our trip to Malacca again. Thanks again to Mr Arshad the FOM who take the responsibilities and explained the problem to me. Thank you.
