Good location”

Good location. 5min walk from sangenjaya staion exit A. 1-2 station away from shibuya station. LAWSON is right beside the hotel. Nearby many restaurants and shops. Hotel breakfast was simple and good. Will be greeted warmly every morning. Highly recommened.

Even though it is not Shinjuku or Ginza, it is FANTASTIC as well”

The hotel room may be small, but that's ok for a lone traveller like me. At least, it's very clean. Toilet/bath is small, it's still ok. Location may not be Shinjuku, it's still ok as you can pretty much get everything around the property. I love the Seiyu just across the road. 24 hours supermarket and can get really cheap groceries. I love the solid variety of food options. In fact, Ikinari steak is nearby too. Check that out. Solid steak - Do the medium-rare ya.. else, you will waste a piece of good steak. It comes with a very hot plate and thus you can still cook it further if you are scared that it is too raw. Hotel receptionists were all very friendly. I also love the free coffee machine at the lobby. I love the laundry facilities on the 12th floor too. Overall, for someone looking for an accommodation near the Tendokan, the is the only one, but a good one!

Great location and convenience”

My stay in this small hotel was very satisfactory. The desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the room, while small (like anything in Tokyo for this price) was comfortable and very quiet to sleep in. Recommended for a solo traveler or couple who don't mind sharing a small room. Breakfast is a bit disappointing, however.

Convenient & Good for money!”

The room size is what you would typically come across while in Tokyo, but very well cleaned and maintained. The staff were lovely and assisted wherever needed. Located quite close to the Sangen-jaya subway station, so only two stops from Shibuya!! I really enjoyed my stay here :)

Good value for money and great location”

Great location, walking distance fron the train station. A lot of convenience stores,groceries, cafè, restaurants/fastfood chains nearby. Good value for money. Staff are accommodating. Love the sangetjaya neighborhood in general.

Spacious room, convenient location”

Room was clean and spacious, compared to the usual Japanese hotel room size. It's 2 mins away from the sangen jaya station which is two stations away from Shibuya so if you are not in a tight schedule it would be a good option. There are plenty of convenient stores and drug stores nearby, too. Staff was friendly and we had no problem communicating in English. Hotel lobby is on the second floor and you have to use the staircase so if you are in a wheel chair or with an elderly take that into consideration.

Cosy hotel room with great service”

My girlfriend and I stayed at the B Sangenjaya for 3 nights and were pleasantly surprised. We were initially taken aback by the small size of the hotel room, although after adjusting to this we really enjoyed our time here. The biggest positives are: 1) the hotel is located in a wonderful spot that is only one subway stop away from Shibuya. 2) extremely friendly service 3) a street with some great izakaya and sushi restaurants only a few minutes walk away. We would be happy to stay here on our return trip to Tokyo.

Never going back again”

my whole floor stank of cigarette smoke. when i asked the staff to open the windows and clear out the stink, they said they could not -- even though there were windows and balcony doors that could open.

Convenient business hotel close to Shibuya”

This is one of the older b hotels in Tokyo but it is located just a 1-2 minute walk from Sangenjaya station with many nightlife restaurants and shopping areas at the doorstep. You do have to walk up a small flight of stairs to get in the front door though. Rooms are typically small but has all the basics of any business hotel. For the price and location it really is a good deal.

A decent small boutique hotel well”

Enjoy the 5 nights stay in the hotel. Although breakfast is simple, but it is the same items throughout the 5 morning. Would be great if the menus are rotated instead. The front desk staff should brush up on the english skill. I was heading to Shubuya JR office but the address written by the staff, and shown to the taxi driver, brought me to Shubuya Mark Center

Tokyo business trip”

This hotel has only an advantage which is price but it is a terrible place in terms of location. Apart from it you have to walk upstairs with your luggage as there is not a lift available to go to first floor to the front desk

Very pleasant hotel”

We found our stay at the b sangenjaya was very pleasant, nice and clean room, good breakfast, very attentive and helpful staff. Although the room is a bit small , it's still acceptable.. Great location and near to the station. Will definitely stay again.. The only thing which need attention is that they don't have wifi access in the room..

Great location ! Easy to find”

Room just alright , tiny , yet clean , too bad no wifi in room , hotel offer only in a small lobby area ! Nice staff as a Japanese hospitality go ! Easy to goto shibuya station at first a bit worry about subway in Tokyo but ! It s very easy to go around . The room come with breakfast , it s help you save a lot of money , however we stay there for 5 night , breakfast all the same every morning

Friendly service, good value for money.”

The B Sangenjaya was a great respite from the hustle and bustle of the busy streets of Tokyo. Very friendly staff, clean rooms and easy access to the subway. Plenty of little restaurants and shops close to the hotel, but also very close to the bigger attractions.

Excellent value for the money”

The rate was a good deal cheaper than other hotels, and it was great to discover that the hotel was actually very decent. The rooms are small, but not uncomfortably so, and everything was clean and tidy. A decent breakfast (mix of western and japanese food) is included in the rate, and that saves a lot of money and time spent looking for breakfast elsewhere.

Conveniently located”

This hotel is located in a residential area and with walking access to local shops, restaurants, supermarket etc. Ideal for family and business traveler who want a local taste of a small hotel. Although the bathroom is small, but the room are clean. Internet is free as well.

Great hotel, but small rooms”

The room was tiny, but that's expected in Japanese hotels. The location is very close to a metro station. The area the hotel is location isn't too shabby either. There are shops and stores nearby. The staff spoke english and were very nice. One thing to note is that the rooms only have wired internet. There is wireless in the lobby though. Breakfast was good, but not amazing. But hey, it's included!

Service with a smile but small rooms”

Breakfast was good but it was the same every day.There is the chance to use internet free of charge in the lobby. I wanted to send postcards to my homeland and the personnel was very helpful and promised to post the postcards by themselves but I had to buy the stamps myself. The cleaning ladies cleaned our rooms every day and also put new bedclothes. We reached to the hotel before the check-in time but the personnel was very kind and they agree to take in our luggage in the lobby.

Nice modern hotel in good location”

Sangenjaya is an excellent area of Tokyo to stay in, located two stops west of the famous Shibuya (which is on JR circle line) yet remarkably quiet. Very close to Omotesando, Harajuku and Shinjuku, so ideal for nights out and shopping. Excellent value for money, considering the location, with breakfast included. Thoroughly recommend for West Tokyo area.
