Clean, spotless hotel located in a convenient location”
The hotel is very clean! Was expecting to see a lot of hair in the bathroom, especially in a all women dorm but it was surprisingly spotless. The capsule at the top bunk could be a little warm, swapped for one at the lower bunk and it was much cooler. The hotel is also walking distance from Shin-Okubo and Okubo stations. There is also a Don Quijote nearby where you can do all your shopping. Would definitely stay in this hotel again!

Great experience!”
The only cons were that it got a bit too warm in the capsule even with the fan on, and the noise from other travellers in the mornings if you are wanting to sleep in a bit. Noise is unavoidable in places like this though, and everyone was doing their best to be quiet so heavy sleepers shouldn't have a problem. I was amazed at the amount of things included in the cost! I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and would do it again (probably just for one night at a time) if I return to Tokyo :)

Impromptu New Years in Tokyo”
The Global Hotel was very well situated, walking distance from many interesting spots in Shinjuku. Hotel staff was great and helpful, reception is open 24 hours and they speak good English. The facilities are clean, the restrooms and showers as well. As it was my first time in a capsule hotel, I was afraid that I wouldn't sleep well. I actually slept very well and the hotel was very quiet, the guests respectful. Quite a few international travellers stayed there. There is a socket to charge your phone etc in each capsule, an alarm clock, and you are provided with keys to a complimentary locker. The breakfast provided was minimal (water, banana, a bit of bread) but its free so just happily take it !

Near golden gai and kabukuchoi”
This capsule hotel is located in a Korean dominant part of the city. Many Korean people there and staff can speak Korean. Great location and clean capsule. One complaint, wifi is slow. Enough for webs surfing.

I stayed there for 9 nights and besides that there is no elevator nothing else bugs me. Located in shinjuku korea town, you can literally walk to downtown shinjuku and be there by foot in 5-10 minutes. Lots of korean food around and some indian curry ( very delivious) Breakfast was enough for a solo traveller like me, staff are very good in english.

Amazing capsule hostel”
It was located 5 minute walk from a JR station. They give out amenities which is great and situated in koreantown. I was in a female capsule and there were like 20 capsules maybe, i didn't hear snoring at all but that could be me passed out from all the walking.

Best hostel at this price range”
Great location, just 5 min from nearest station and Kabukicho is just stone throw away. Nice little common area at 1st floor, equipped with microwave. WiFi speed is good, and smooth even for video call. 5 stars!

Loved it!”
We stayed in the VIP 4th floor room. It has 2 capsule beds and plenty of privacy. Everything was clean, the staff was always helpful and accommodating. The hotel is conveniently close to JR Shin- okubo station. Also has washing machine and dryer which we loved. Only 2 negatives for me- no window in the room so no natural sunlight. And no elevator! If I were ever in this area again, I’d stay here again!

Great value for money capsule experience ”
We booked a VIP room as I am travelling with my teenage daughter and wanted to try a capsule hotel : the rooms have 2 capsules in and a little privacy . Super helpful staff and modern conveniences and decor

Capsule hotels are a great choice even if it is your last resource the same night! It was cleaned, hot showers and it doesnt feel like you are in a capsule, the bed was very comfortable, you can control the temperature, a big TV screen, great wifi if you don't mind the chance to have noisy neighbors then is great for the price.

Perfect for Solo Traveller”
It is really near to the Shin-Okubo JR train station, literally 2 mins walk away. Highly recommend for solo traveller and the bathroom has all and everything or maybe more than what you need for your stay.

Location near to train station and public bath. Bed is comfortable. Bottom capsule is easier access, of course. Wash basins on my second night were not as clean on my first night. Staff was not as helpful as I would have expect.

Great place! Very comfy, I slept really well the first night but the second night several people decided to pack their bags at midnight. My capsule was right next to the lockers so I kept hearing banging into my capsule. That was not great but more the overall stay was very nice. My only suggestion would be to have a policy asking guests not to pack between certain hours. (Other capsules I've stayed at had this policy )

Great Capsule that could use noise control”
Pros: 5 mins from Shin-Okubo Station (right beside mon bijou hotel -it’s the only sign you can see from afar) 2 Lockers given (1 for shoes, 1 for personal belongings - luggage can’t fit in for sure) 3 toilet and shower cubicles (dry and wet area for people particular about not having wet toilet floors) Dressing area has straightener, curler and hairdryer Welcome amenities given (A mask, toothbrush, shower caps, towels and slippers) Capsule was well-lit, has charging USB port, TV and headphones Cons: Lockers are next to beds so you can hear other guest zipping and unzipping their bags during the night. Not the place for light sleepers as capsule is covered by a blind Side note: 1. there’s no lift but I’ve seen guests requesting from help from the staff to move their luggage 2. shin-Okubo station was under renovation so no lifts there either
