Well located business hotel suitable for leisure travel”

Summary based on two separate, multi-day stays: --convenient to Shibuya station New South exit, but a long walk to Yamanote line. NEX convenient. --secure, quiet, decent sized with work area, kitchenette, washer/dryer, closet space. Good lighting and ok electrical receptacles. --good temperature control, including air con --Friendly, English speaking staff --adjacent to 24 hour restaurant with ok Western or Japanese breakfast. Many restaurants and several convenience stores close by. --grocery store 450m walk away --drinks vending in the lobby, including beer --in room safe Recommended in this area, especially if you want a washer/dryer.

Perfect location”

If you take Narita Express Train from the airport, alight at Shibuya station and use 'New South Exit' which is short walking distance from the hotel. Don't take other exits coz they are quite far from hotel. Lift access is available from station exit to the main road via JR Mets Hotel lift lobby. When I ask for the nearby supermarket, the kind receptionist lady showed me the direction with the map. It's called Life supermarket and we shopped there everyday. The room has induction cooker, microwave oven and washing machine with dryer which are very useful for the family with infant like us. Lawson and Family mart is nearby hotel as well. Remind that hotel will only change the towels and throw the rubbish bag if you're short stays. Overall we enjoyed the stay there.

This hotel exceeded our expectiations, the room was decent sized, had in room laundry, daily breakfast at Jonathan’s and very close to Shibuya South Exit, and Shibuya stream. Quite neighbourhood, but easy to get out and about.

Near to everything”

Near Train station (shibuya-new south exit) Right beside the hotel is family mart & restau (not expensive ones) Clean Hotel/they clean everyday. No cable

Near to New South Entrance of Shibuya Station”

Located at the quiet side of Shibuya and very near to the new south entrance of Shibuya Station. But the new south entrance is at the further side of Shibuya Station which takes about 15-20mins walk to reach to the main central location of Shibuya such as the Shibuya Crossing. Might be quite challenging if you have luggage especially to navigate at the busy Shibuya Station. We stayed at the twin room which where the size fits perfectly for the two of us and they also provide washing machine with built in tumble dry which help us to do laundry. The breakfast set which cost 500Yen from the adjacent cafe 'Jonathan' is also nice.

great location, the room is little bigger then the typical business hotel in Tokyo. The best of all, it has washer/dryer in the room which is super convenience if you stay a little longer. Definitely recommended

Mini apartment-like property with nice breakfast at Jonathan's restaurant!”

I always choose to stay at Tokyu Stay if they have availability as their rooms have a mini kitchen & washing machine. The washing machine is really good and really quiet (i seriously can't hear it at all so i kept washing my clothes at night). The bathroom is also much bigger than regular hotels. They provide breakfast tickets to go down to the Jonathan's restaurant for breakfast (8 choices! each day! + drink bar!). My only wish was for them to have a gym!

Big for a Tokyo hotel”

This hotel was a good size. I've stayed in Tokyo before, and the hotels are quite small. This one however was big enough for four suitcases. It isn't as close to Shibuya as I thought it to be, but still not bad in terms of location. Price was good considering Tokyo is pretty expensive. Would stay here again.

Great Place”

I really enjoy my stay at the Tokyu Stay Shibuya Shin Minami Guchi. The room was bigger than other business hotels in Tokyo and it was very clean and comfortable. The location is next to the Shibuya station. Staff service was excellent. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Amazing Stay”

We had an amazing stay at the Tokyu Stay Shibuya Shin Minami Guchi. Our friend recommended us to this hotel and it was absolutely worth the money. The room was clean, quiet spacious, and very very comfortable. The room had everything we needed, including a washing machine. The staff were all very welcoming and nice. There are a bunch of convenient stores and restaurants around the hotel. The hotel is literally 1-2 minute away from the Shibuya Shin Minami Guchi station. Although very close to the station, but we still need to walk quiet a bit to get to the Yamanote line and Shibuya Crossing. Overall, the hotel is great, worth the money, and very comfortable. We had a very pleasant stay. Will definitely stay here again next time :D

Home away from home”

I can't imagine staying at a better hotel for a week in Tokyo! The single room I had was small, but ever so comfortable. The room came with everything I needed, including a cozy bed, AC, TV, an electric kettle, a microwave, an electric burner for cooking and a very handy WASHING MACHINE. The hotel staff were formidable, too. Not only were they extremely courteous, but they were also willing and able to give all kinds of information related to sightseeing in and around Tokyo. Every time I came back from a day's worth of exploring, they made me feel like I was coming home, rather than arriving back at a hotel. The room rate at Tokyu Stay Shibuya Shin Minami Guchi also includes a delicious breakfast. There is a 24 hour restaurant attached to the hotel where guests can have their breakfast in the morning. You can choose from 8 different breakfast options, so there I would say there is something for everyone. I will definitely stay at Tokyu Stay Shibuya Shin Minami Guchi again when I am next in Tokyo!

Great location, service and facilities”

Very satisfied by the hotel's in room facilities, service, catering, not to mention its close proximity to JR Shibuya new south exit, which leads to Narita Express Platform immediately. Very good value for this price. Pleasantly surprised.

Everything is fantastic, location can be better”

This hotel is great if you don't mind staying on a quieter and less convenient part of Shibuya. The room is spacious for Tokyo (it looks like a studio apartment actually). The breakfast was great. You have 6 choices. The staff are friendly and you get full facilities, including gym, free coffee at the lobby, 1 free detergent sachet for doing laundry in your own room, etc.

Good location, ernest staff”

Stayed 3 nights at this hotel, the room was small but more than adequate equipped, with a kitchenette and a washing machine and dryer. Staff was Ernest and helpful despite the lack of English staff. Highly recommended!

Convenient & Comfortable”

Hotel is very close to tran station , thus so convenient for transportation. Just need a bit longer walk to shopping area, but not too far. Convenient stores are nearby . Room also clean & comfortable, equipped with all you need.

I've never been to Tokyo before, but I've gathered that accommodations are tough with small sizes and outdated rooms. I'm happy to report that the rooms are nicely sized, but they are so dated that they feel a little grimy (ex: the white comforter is yellowing from age). The amenities could use some updating and the room service is puzzling--new towels every day (though this didn't actually happen for us), but they don't make the bed. I don't need my bed made for me, but if you're not going to do that why bother coming in to give me new towels? I would also say that the free breakfast is not worth it, especially when there are so many tasty and/or affordable options in the area (both a Family Mart and a Lawson's are less than a 5 minute walk away). Overall, the staff was professional and friendly, but this hotel is not worth it as it is. If they updated their amenities, it could be a very good spot.

This is my 3rd stay in Tokyu Stay Shinminamiguchi. Service provided is consistent from time to time. Some details (minimal) in room interior need to be upgraded as they get old during time. Strategic location - walking distance from New South Exit of JR Shibuya station, easy access to convenient stores and restaurants.

Great hotel”

I love everything. I dont mind about no breakfeast because we cook our own brekfeast. The kitchen and washing machine with dryer really convenient for us as family traveller. Coffee machine at the lobby is so nice. Location is excellent. Only 3 mins walking to JR station and 5 mins walking to nearest metro station and center of shibuya. Room is very limited space but cabinet provided helps to organize clothes during stay. Definitely I'll stay here again when I come back again in Shibuya
