A wonderful hotel full of warm and smiling staff. Spacious and clean rooms with good views.”
An excellent hotel of endless warm smiles. This would be my description of the hotel. From the moment I stepped out of my car until I reached my room, I am greeted by smiling and friendly security to executive hotel staff. It’s like a home away from home. This is the most outstanding quality of this hotel. It’s also very clean, rooms are spacious and well equipped (it comes with a coffee making machine with a choice of regular or decaf coffee) and an amazing bathroom, beautiful views of the lake and city, good facilities and many more. After a long and tiring day of appointments, I always look forward to having a glass of wine at the Infinity Lobby Bar. Cheers to Eric, the bar supervisor, and his friendly and attentive team!. Thanks, Eric and co, for making it so easy for me to unwind myself at the end of the day. The bar also has a very entertaining musical trio, called the Maltidas, singing lovely and soothing songs. All members of the band are equally friendly as Eric and co.

Wyndham stands for its STAR rating as a 5 Star Hotel! Their Employees are the STARS here! Not only professional in handling guests' needs but are very RELATIONAL. They listen! That makes the service in this Hotel stands out for us. Mr. Aung Khinde has given his best attention & service, where our meeting was held. The arrangements and deco - impeccable! Ms Phu Phu assisted. Accom Rm - big & spacious, new & kept clean, nice decor, room overlooking lake and Golden Pagoda. Fantastic amenities catered to business travelers on the work table, things not come across in other 5 Star hotels. You have to find out. I highly commend too that for the first time, there are Fire Face Mask (placed in a box) in the wardrobe. Wyndham stands to show that their guests are taken care with priority! Housekeepers - very polite and fast to meet requests. Mr Thien Aung, done up our room with care. F&B-Awesome team at Spoons! Mr. Aung Myint, Thet Wai, Mery Mery and others served us well. One of the best hotels we have stayed!”
The hotel is really new, has just opened in Jan 2019. Everything is brand-new. We felt like we were the first one using that room. Hotel staff let us check in early when there was rooms available, allocated a room with lake view which was really enjoyable in the morning. Room was spacious, sparkling clean, with elegant decoration. Staff were very helpful, polite, attentive, and professional, live up to 5-star hotel standard. Breakfast was great with lots of choice. Service was awesome. Great value for money, compared to other 4-5 star hotels in the city, this one is much better. Highly recommended. We will defnitely stay at Wyndham again whenever we come back to Yangon, not any other hotels which we tried and were disappointed.

Outstanding ”
We stayed here 3 nights, including the New Year Eve. The hotel is by far the nicest I’ve ever stayed in. It’s new, the interior design is fantastic, best materials are used. The room has everything one can wish, including walk in closet, Nespresso machine, Phillips iron, pillows menus, huge bed, huge shower and a beautiful bath. The view over the lake from the 15th floor was amazing. The breakfast buffet is really good, and compared to other buffets in Myanmar, I dare to say it’s the best. The NY Eve buffet was even better, and the party itself was also very well organized and lots of fun. The staff is super sweet, very kind, but not to the extent of being pushy or disturbing at all. The hotel has a shuttle bus service to the main landmarks and the airport. The gym is good! And the spa has fair prices but we had not time to go. The pool area is nice and not too sunny. Thank you for making the start of 2020 so special for us.

Great hotel! 1) very New and clean. Huge room. 2) Great location. Near to the main areas (Junction city). There’s a 2 storey shopping mall beside the hotel. Not much stuffs yet as it looked newly opened but still fine to have a decent meal (black canyon coffee, koi, etc) 3) Great breakfast. Wide spread of food. 4) Decent gym and a nice pool. 5) very Nice and polite staffs. Always smiling and willing to help. Special thanks to May who upgraded me to a deluxe room with nice lake view. 6) All the above and very reasonably priced! Highly recommended.

for the most basic room here, it was a pity that i only got the city view, would have preferred the lake view room. I did ask on several attempts, twice at the counter, and once over the phone, if we could change rooms for our last 2 nights to the lake view room, with a top-up in fee charges. however, they said they willl check and get back to me, but all 3 times they weren't able to confirm and did not come back to me. generally, all staff are courteous and makes the effort to greet guests genuinely, but could be more faster in terms of providing service to guests, as laundry pickup service was abit slow. there is always an abundance of spread during breakfast. location is good, located just facing kandawgyi lake, 10minutes cab ride to the nearest mall Junction City as well as bogyoke market. near to shwe dagon as well.

Amazing breakfast, clean room and great club lounge”
It was a great stay to mark the end of my trip in Myanmar! Clean room, spacious washroom, great club lounge, amazing breakfast, good coffee and professional staffs. I booked a club room offer 2 pieces laundry per day and one way airport transfer, the car is super cool!!! Huge and comfortable, only 20min away from the airport. Totally worth for the money!

We have stayed at many hotels in Yangon and across Asia and this was such a surprise to us! The sleek and modern look immediately assures you that you are in a 5 Star hotel. The location is great with amazing views. The breakfast was very good also. But, the best part was the service/staff. Not only our family, but others who we met there were talking about how great the staff was. For us, they made my daughter's 13th birthday one she will never forget. She felt like a princess. I was a Wyndham member in the States and this was my favorite Wyndham yet! This is now our preferred Yangon hotel!

5 star hotel at stunning location”
This hotel is recently opened hotel in front of kandawgyi lake. 5 star location. I was upgraded from Room 1313 which is superior to deluex 1409 for free and i am so pleased with deluex. Thank you Wyndham staffs. The bed, bathtub are really nice. breakfast was so good mix of japanese, european, chinese and indian. pool is a bit small though but nice wind come through two building so i was spending there for like 3-4 hours. check in and check out was so smooth. I fully recommended wyndham and since i am native yangoner, i will surely go back there again probably in a month time. good job wyndham staffs!

Wyndham Grand Yangon is very impressive. Rooms spacious, beautifully designed. Modern with tasteful touches of Burmese tradition/art. Ask for a lake view room. Staff were overly helpful with every request. It's brand new, and there were barely any growing pains. Breakfast is perhaps the best in Yangon. Forgot your conception of the Wyndham brand in USA ... this is closer to a Grand Hyatt, almost 5 star. One issue - signage on the building complex where the hotel is is poor, and taxi/Grab drivers don't know the location. Hotel staff will help to call and direct them.

I love Wyndham Grand Hotel for the cleanliness, friendly staff, beautiful rooms and a well equiped gym. For my last stay I was upgraded to a Suite and I really loved my room. This hotel offers a wide variety of breakfast option for all your needs. Don't forget to pack your swim wear for some down time by the pool.

Great Hotel ”
We stayed here for 2 nights when starting our trip through Myanmar. The Hotel and complex -including a small shopping mall-is entirely new. The staff is extremely attentive, friendly and helpful. Rooms are huge and it was the biggest bed I ever slept in! There is an infinity pool but it was too cold for me to swim. There is a nice view over the lake. The breakfast was awesome- good and plenty and a wide variation. I enjoyed it that you couldn’t hear a noise from adjacent rooms or the hallway, as it is the case in many other hotels. I would definitely choose this hotel again-Keep it up!

Everything is smooth when i stayed there . Staffs are well trained and always willing to help . I like swimming pool . I tried Beef stake at the restaurant and it was perfect . Rooms are clean and wide enough . That will be great if i could get the Lake View room .

Had an amazing stay at Wyndham Yangon. Staff were unfailingly polite, courteous and did everything they could to make the service comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the gym was well-equipped as well. The only disappointment was the quality of Yoga teacher but then again it was a complimentary yoga session in the morning.

we had a short stay only. i love the hotel. there’s a luxe feel in it. comfortable bed. also the staff are so friendly and helpful. thanks to Sky and Damon for being very helpful to us. location was great. walking distance to karaweik palace, and there’s a mall beside the hotel.

Superb quality of room at reasonable price”
This is one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed. The room is huge, the bathroom inside took up half the room with an area for shower and a bathtube plus toilet and 2 basins. There is even a small room for closet with a dressing table, My room faces the lake so the scenery is beautiful. My room was also upgraded from a twin room to a king room. The next half of the room consists of a living room and a king size bed plus a working area. As the hotel just opened in Jan 2019, everything is new. The decor, lighting and design of the room provided a great comfort away from home. The swimming pool is definitely worth a visit even not for swimming. There is a wide variety of spread for breakfast and the lounge which also the bar is cosy and comfortable for relaxation or a chat. Highly recommended.

Awesome Hotel for my first trip in Myanmar”
The customer service were awesome, and they ensure I had a wonderful time here. The breakfast was delicious, the only problem is that everyday is the same food. hahaha, perhaps the hotel can change different type of food for breakfast? Almost everything is charge in USD dollars in Myanmar, hence, my recommendation for the rest of travelers in Myanmar to exchange in USD instead of Myanmar Kyats. It is a good hotel, and I would highly recommend everyone to go! :)

I don’t usually write a review but i thought I will do it this time. I booked this hotel because the price is reasonable. But when I walked into the lobby i was so impressed and when i walked into the room it was just WOW!!!!! I keep telling my friend how much I enjoyed and love their room. I was planning to stay only one night but guess what I extended the other night. Their shower in the bathroom is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will definitely stay there again!!!

The best hotel in Yangon”
This hotel is so new! Just open on 9 Jan 2019. The room is nice and clean. The spa is great. Therapist is well experienced. Gym opens from 6 am to 10 pm with the view of Kandawgyi lake, all well equipped. Highly recommended :)
