"The hostel is spotlessly clean and tidy. The bed linen and towels are nice and fresh. The beds are extremely soft and comfortable. The free breakfast exceeded my expectations and there is plenty of choice along with free tea and coffee throughout the day. The family who run the hostel are so kind, friendly, welcoming and hospitable. They helped me with everything and did whatever they could to meet my needs. I felt like I was at home here. I've been travelling for eight months and this is one of the best hostels i've ever stayed at. If you are going to stay anywhere, stay here!"

"1) Onsen wash away your tiredness. Can enjoy private onsen if there is no other guest. 2) Very helpful & cute owner (Kashiwagi san).. landlady prepared local cuisine Houtou to welcome us, as a gift.. superb!! 3) Directly can see Mt. Fuji peak from the house. 4) Landlady helped us with laundry too. 5) The place not near to station, so please email to owner before your arrival. Taxi is not standby and available at the station. Make sure you mention your time of arrival at the station so owner can pick you up. 6) Both owner & landlady can speak certain english, easier to communicate too. Definitely will come back again!!"

"I booked this hotel because I want to see the autumn leave. The house is surround by beautiful trees. Only draw back is the house is very close to main road, which could be noisy between 7am to 10 pm. There is kitchen, microwave, oven, stove, tv, heater. Bed room has 2 single bed and 1 double story bed. Living room can accommodate 2-4 more people on futons. You need a car to stay here. It is on the mountain road between two small towns."
