not bad, but not good neither”
the staff said the tv is broken, so we dont have remote, but i could turned it on manually, so the tv was fine, they just didnt want to give us the remote. its not a big deal, but still strange behave.... the rented scooter was garbage, the internet was very weak and instable, the bathroom was very tiny, but fortunately the water pressure was good, the bed was good too overall i wont recommend this place to anybody, probably if i go back to the town, i will pick a nother place to stay...

Value for Money!”
I chose Bien Khoi for the private room it was offering within my budget. It was a very pleasant change from the dorms I had been staying in for a while. The rooms are clean and spacious enough for one person. For two it might get a bit crowded. There is a TV and an attached bathroom. There was a balcony in my room as well which provided for a pleasant change from AC at times. The staff speaks very little English but tries her best and if you can use a use a translation app, you will find all your questions answered. The location is not far from anything else in Hue. I walked around mostly and there are a lot of local eateries around to taste the flavours of Hue. The only down side was lack of a common area to socialize and meet people. But then this is a guest house, not a hostel. Definitely recommend if you are looking to spend some private time in comfort.

Greatest host”
This is the first time i came to Hue and once I've got so warmly welcome from the host! :) He help me out with booking city tour by both boat and bus which is perfectly match with my short visiting time range. He's got motorbike and bike for rent too. When i left for the next destination, he drove me to the bus stop so I can catch the bus in time without taking any extra charge. I really appreciated that! Will come back next time definitely!

Really great guesthouse/hotel in a lovely neighborhood in Hue. Everything you need on your doorstep - cheap food and great coffee. Also had the best shower in a while in the room! Slightly noisy in the AM but I guess that's the vibe of the neighborhood. Super friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend!

Good budget hotel”
Super cheap, think we paid £4 per night for a double room with air con. However it was on the top floor and there were a lot of stairs! Laundry service was just OK. Some of our clothes were jammed in the bag so were quite creased when we got them back. Staff were fine, mostly left us to ourselves after showing our room. Location is okay, a bit of a walk to the main part of town but not too far. Close to the Imperial City too which is of course a must see in Hue.

Pros: Staff is good, walking distance to Hue imperial city(17mins), Room is comfortable, aircond is cold enough Cons: Location is a bit hard to find, airport transfer is quite expensive( but a gentle driver is provided).

I have travelled a lot, and this is easily one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. For a budget price, a very clean and modern room with a/c, tv, balcony, working wifi. Whole place spotless and the staff is super friendly. Didn't want to leave!!

Disappointing start to our stay”
We arrived fairly late at night and were told to sit down and fill out a row in a guest book for passport info etc (which was obviously fine). However, what wasnt fine is that we were bombarded with questions about what we were doing in Hue, where we were going next and how we were getting there, with the owners jumping down our throats trying to sell us stuff including a scooter, various transport to our next location etc. This would have been ok too, had they taken no for an answer. Even when we said no, we were faced with statements like "its ok book now pay later". After this, we were shown to our room, and less than a minute later, one of the owners knocked on the door and walked in. She then proceeded to walk straight across our room to shut the window (a/c was on so we would have done that anyway) and she then turned off 2/3 of the lights and told us we didnt need them on. Im sorry, but if they arent needed, there shouldnt be an option to use them. Not to mention the fact that this was our room for 2 nights, so within reason, we can do as we please! A couple of extra problems included: No toilet roll & had to ask for some Fridge leaked all over the floors Really loud screaming kids from very early in the morning - we felt as though we were living above a nursery The pros: Bed was fairly comfy Decent price Location was ok, didnt take long to walk to citadel Shower was very good (although if you wanted you could brush you teeth, go to the toilet and shower at the same time if you wanted - very small bathroom)

Host hospitality is wonderful”
We was said by hotel staff "there isn't no reservation" Although We had already paid hotel fee! But Host is very kind and take us to sightseeing by her car allday. It was very cheep price! She also took us to a local restaurant. After all we were intriduced a defferent hotel. The hotel daoesn't have not only hot water but also cold water for shower . The host of Bien coi hotel will do the best hospitality for you.

No-one cleaned my room during my stay, so I put the garbage and soiled towels in the hallway for pick-up and requested fresh ones, which were quickly supplied. The price is very good, but a bit of simple maintaining like oiling the room door locks would prevent a lot of noisy door slamming...the building is a bit of an echo chamber. Also, simple cleaning attention to the pillow cases...mine smelled strongly of other people's sweat...and washing down the bathroom walls would make this an excellent hotel!

This is the best value hotel ever!!With so little we paid, we enjoyed a very clean room with air-con and great hospitality from the hosts. The location is not really in the tourist area so that we experienced some real aspects of the local life. I highly recommend this hostel to all you guys!

Traveling on a budget but still wanna get nice and cozy? Perfect place ever!!”
Nice cozy, family owned place. The wife there is so lovely and likes to practice Japanese with me every morning over a cuppa coffee. On the last day of my stay, she offered not only me but my friend who lives nearby a motorcycle tour to a spa which is located over 20km away from the hostel in a pouring rain for a really reasonable price! I appreciate the extra effort that you made for us and I'll never forget such a great experience that I had there. Can't wait to go back to see you guys!

For a budget price, you get a very clean and modern room with a/c, tv, balcony, working wifi. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Good location in a quiet dead end road. Really to recommend, I will go back next time.

Looks like a newly renovated building. Incredibly clean rooms and amazing beds with memory foam pillows and mattress. Tv and fridge. Excellent family couple who run the place. Was given free coffee also. Great location with loads of restaurants nearby and walking distance to the citadel. Only you place to stay for value and quality.
