Good location and very friendly staff. Only downside we did not get to enjoy the heated shower as it was faulty during my whole stay. However they made it up with very good service.

Excellent”
The room and free amenities are good. Aircon is working. If you love to sleep with many pillows, they have at least 6. However if you love to watch TV while relaxing in your room, channels are only few and audio are even delayed. Don't know if it's on the service provider or with the signal. Second, their free breakfast. There were only two options. Maybe before pandemic they had buffet but this time, eating breakfast at McDonalds or Jollibee is much better than what they offer. Not saying it's not delicious, but with the price of the room you expect that you will have plenty of options for the most important meal of the day. Third, they have two types of showers in the bathroom. One is detachable (one where you can hold it) and the other is already installed. The problem for the detachable is that there is no holder so you have to think to where to put it after taking a bath. The installed one, it seems like a strong water flow away from being detached. Water is not only coming down from shower holes but also from the part where it can be removed. Even the soap holder is about to drop because I think they weren't able to fix it. Water is great though. You can adjust it to warm or cold. Lastly, their lobby is kind of warm as well. Fan is being provided and aroma is quite nice but still warm. I guess they have to spray insecticide or disinfectant everyday because when I sat down on their couch there were mosquitoes. Overall, I would rate our stay 3/5. Still recommended to those who would like to stay.

Our visit”
We booked from eight Tuesday through Sunday so five nights and we booked on the go order we had to pay around 900 pesos per day for taxes thus and at the counter when we were checking in they told us it was because we booked on Agoda instead of calling them directly that doesn’t sound right to me but that’s what I was told and be careful in the showers the tile they have in there is very very very slippery it’s really nice hotel the pool is beautiful the staff is great food very very Good Oh and it seems like everybody likes to congregate outside the elevator on each floor throughout the day and it gets kind of noisy also at night time on Friday and Saturday nights there’s a little place next-door that cranks the music off and you can feel the wall plate great and we were on the seventh floor but that was just Friday and Saturday all in all we would recommend this hotel

Love the pool”
If you are a traveler who loves to swim for exercise this hotel is for you. It is very popular for weddings (Like every day there seems to be another event but its still quiet) and it is the most expensive hotel in town but the pool is awesome! Breakfast is good, served in the cafe on site, and the location is quite convenient to downtown area etc.

Very good”
Stayed 6 days in Big 8 hotels. Staffs are friendly, room is okay but you can notice that it needs update. Very noisy from the outside noise of cars and tricycles. The tv has no options or channels to watch good thing my daughter has amazon fire tablet but their pool is nice my daughter enjoyed it. One thing that really bothers me was their food it was very little seems like it was portion for a kid to eat, and it was cold.

The most hotel town, in our room phone and WiFi is not working, even after complaining nobody was coming to change. TV wasn't working and there was no warm water in the bathroom. The breakfast is very poor We won't recommend this hotel

Breakfast - 3/5 - Inconsistent (Day 1, we got 2 eggs + bacon + rice/bread; Day 2, we got 1 egg + bacon + rice/bread) - It wasn’t really “special”. The juice I was served was just some powdered juice - Coffee.. so-so acceptable Cleanliness - 3/5 - First night, it was NOT spotless. I found a plastic strip and I felt some stuff on my feet that I may have stepped on Location: 5/5 Very convenient; one ride to most places Bed & Comfort: 5/5 Bed and pillows were pleasant & comfortable

A not so corporate business hotel...”
You have to pay for the use of the ironing board as well as a power adapter, which is a standard in most corporate hotels which I stayed at. The swimming pool is a 3 minute walk away from the main hotel (still under the hotel premise), so it's uncomfortable walking with just your swim wear.. Good to have a roof top bar. Disadvantage is noise if you are staying at a high floor.

Booked for 5 days. Checked out after two. Day 1 : lost tv signal Later lost power Dining tables crust of dirt on top Found one acceptable, Very wobbly Day 2 : still no tv Went for breakfast. There were About 6 people in a room for 100 Most tables still had dirty dishes On them. Had to search for Clean table. Breakfast buffet food was cold. No heating candles for trays. Both days, air conditioning was very loud All the time. When we first told them we Wanted to check out, they told us we Would be charged for the 5 day’s. We then spoke to the vice mayor of Tagum City and the hotel changed their Position.
