Great option for rustic lodging with no air con”

Coming from a dry climate the heat and nonstop humidity was challenging. The rooms were equipped with fans but if I knew in advance how the climate would feel I would have made sure to find a room with air con. The cool pool on site was a life saver and awesome surprise. Restaurant had the best coffee of our two week trip and the staff was amazingly sweet and accommodating. The room was rustic to be sure, but for that type of lodging it couldn’t be beat.

Not Exactly Peaceful”

The Lodge itself is quite nice and could be a great spot to relax after time spent in Ho Chi Minh City, but there is almost constant noise throughout the day. Whether it's construction on the lodge itself, construction down the street, a noisy generator next door, maintenance on the park across the river, or obnoxiously loud karaoke down the street until past 10pm, there was almost always something distracting from what would otherwise be a tremendous place to relax and spend some time in nature. Quite a few of these things are out of the Lodge's control, so it's not their fault, but it does prevent this place from being relaxing nevertheless. The food here was bland, but decent enough for a quick bite before heading over to the park. As for the staff, I may have caught them on a bad couple of days compared to the previous reviews, but they were apathetic to the point of nearly being standoffish.

Amazing stay”

Perfect location next to ferry terminal to the national park , clean nice room with comfy bed and a big deck with amazing view over the jungle river. Perfect to lay in the hammock listening to the gibbons in the morning. Restaurant alright with good prices. Lovely staff who are really nice and helpful. Ac, mosquito net, proper toilet with hot water. Really recommend this place when visiting cat tien!

Hammock on the balcony, over looking the river and jungle, very clean bathroom and room, restaurant serves great vegetarian food, kind staff, next to the national park and the best bit - 3 lovely dogs wandering around looking for some scratches and strokes. Make sure you use your mosquito net as you will be in nature!!

Paradise!”

Oberlooking the river in a hammok on your balcony and weaking up to the sound of gibbons in the cat tien NP is just paradise! We spend 3 nights in a lovely, wooden double room. The food is very good and plenty:) Would definitively go back again.

Amazing place!!!”

My son and I stayed at this place in order to visit Cat Tien National park. It was great! The rooms were little jungle shacks equipt with mosquito nets, comfortable beds and hot shower. it was pure magic lying in a hammock on our balcony listening to the gibbons across the river sing. The staff were very helpful and organised everything we needed taxi, bus, tour etc. the food was delicious and value for money superb. Not a bad word to say about this paradise in the jungle!!!

The bungalow was right on the water with a nice terrace to sit out on and watch the river go by. The restaurant was so busy it was difficult to get a seat in the evening.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bird Song Lodge! Accomodation and food were simple but really good. Staff was super nice and helpful. It seems to be the same owner than green bamboo lodge and location next to the national park entrance is very convenient. Bicycles are available free of charge to explore the village and countryside.

Nada más llegar te reciben con una gran sonrisa..estan siempre pendientes en lo que te puedan ayudar.Con relacion con la comida,solo puedo decir que venia mucha gente de otros hoteles a cenar alli,imaginense el porque.La mañana que me iba en mi moto a seguir mi ruta,me dieron una botella de agua y un par de platanos.No conozco muchos sitios que tengan este tranto tan familiar.
