Really enjoyable break in a super convenient location with a friendly host, big plus dogs alllowed”

Kim was super helpful the host and tried to get me in earlier than my check in as she knew being NYD I was a little delicate. She was always available on whatsap and really seemed to care that I had a nice time and had everything I needed. The location of this place is fantastic its minutes from the town centre. There is a carpark a few hundred yards away and it's cheap to park there while you are staying and there are plenty of spaces. Kim allowed me to bring my 2 dogs which was why I booked it. There is tea coffee, salt & pepper onsite and make up remover etc for ladies. Theres a corner shop just up the hill and Marks a few hundred yards down the hill so its easy to stock up with supplies that arent provided like milk and bread etc.
I think the reason why the host states small dogs but doesnt limit this to small dogs (I have 2 collies which she allowed no problem) is that the downstairs apartment on GF the one I was in the outside space is very small and so not really useable for a big dog. However there is literally a park at the end of the road a stones throw and I tended to just open the front door and let them have regular wee's in the alley/ road down the side of the property, which is non existent traffic wise. I am a fussy customer and you can't pick any holes in this place really its exactly what it says on the tin. Would definitely come back.

Nice experience”

This is a really clean, cozy apartment. Only 5-minute walk from cowes ferry terminal, so it’s definitely the best choice if you will arrive in the evening. Dog is allowed here, our dog loves this apartment very much. Landlord is quite kind and helpful. We had great time staying here.

10/10 mini break!”

This property was great! We got the ferry over and there was parking very close the property. The property was extremely clean and comfortable. We were able to use the very comfortable pull out sofa and the main bedroom. There was only a short walk to the shops and seafront. lots of little cafes and places to eat within walking distance. Very please with this mini get away as I was able to book last minute with excellent communication from the host. Just what I needed!!

The apartment has everything you need and very comfortable and clean.
Parking was a bit of a nightmare and having to contact the host a number of times with details that weren’t supplied was a bit frustrating when your away for a few days to relax.

Deposit payment withheld - be careful of owners claims for damage to door matt, rug & coffee table”

Very clean and well decorated, in a very good location.
The owner did not return our deposit in full and wanted to charge us for a stain on the entrance door matt, and claimed we damaged the coffee table which was not the case, stain on the rug which we did not do and for cleaning scuff marks on the floor, all of which were not the case. Owner claimed we left the apartment in a 'State' which was not the case, we were clean and tidy.

Perfect for a weekend break”

Great location. Beautifully furnished and very clean. The bed was comfy, the huge bath was great after a day walking along the coastal path. A short walk takes you into Cowes for dinner. Toninos Italian and the Coast restaurants were a highlight for us. Osborne House was a short drive away which we thoroughly enjoyed. Would definitely recommend Blue Winds and we’d love to return.
There isn’t a parking space however, the host recommended the Tourist parking permit. This was very easy to arrange and meant we could park at other places on the island for the same fee. Approx £12 for 48 hours.
