What we like about the resort: It was very close to the port and we arrived late night. Peaceful and beautiful place The staffs were very accommodating Room was spacious There's a fridge inside the room which is very rare for resorts this cheap However, it was far from station 2 which is the center of the island. It's kinda hard for us to find a tricycle driver that doesn't ask for a "SPECIAL" type of ride going back to the resort. "Special" cost more than the regular rate which is 25 pesos per person.

Friendly Staff; Okay Location (if trips are constantly from Cagban Port)”
They offer good prices for Boracay activities!! Just meters away from 711 and possibly the least hassle coming from Cagban but not to and fro Tambisaan Port (tides will dictate which port is open). Price is okay for the AC, TV, hot shower, fridge, WiFi (accessible at the patio but not inside the rooms), and a kitchen area for sharing. However, there were no cups and kettle that are readily available and also no bidet. Overall a great experience in Boracay but may be recommendable for groups of 4-7pax who wants to cook and maybe maximize the transfers going to & coming from the commercial area via tricycle.ü

Good for long stay with less expense hotel”
It's is our first time to travel in Boracay and i booked in Actopia for our habitat there for 5nights. I found Actopia a place good for the whole family with young children.It has Spacious room, clean and very affordable price It is quite far from the White Beach but tricycle were available 24hours where you can ask in what station you would like to drop off, so with our 5-Nights stay there, we wander the beach from station 1,2 and 3. The hotel has it's centralized kitchen where we cooked for our food since food from the restos are very expensive,we are 6 adults and 1 young kid. Imagine how it costed our food if we all eat everyday in restos which offers P250/head for buffet!? After our beach time, we could find peaceful place at night to rest and relax in Actopia. People there are very caring and approachable.

Home away from home”
The family room is huge and clean. The resort provided for basic toiletries and fresh towels daily. Basically new and we enjoyed the comfortable beds and cool aircon. We love the native pavilion for more space and fresh air. The resort also provided for the free use of the kitchen and all table needs. We enjoyed marketing for fresh seafoods and vegetables which we cooked for our breakfast and dinner. It was one big bonding time with my family and friends. Also, we gained new friendship from other guests who is a Chinese national. He has frequented the Philippines but his I first time in Boracay. We invited him to join our group in the tours and our food trips in and out of the resort which he said was oh is first experience of friendship in the Philippines. In the past, he only had acquaintances, but with the homey ambiance of the resort heh as gained new friends in us. We are now planning our return early next year and next time it I will be with his family. Suggestion though is optional availability of breakfast to start the day right especially on the guests first day.simple breakfast may do . There are some small food stores but the food is too salty as they may fall under hawkers and offer highly commerciadbl types of food or street foods. Not appealing for vacationers who craves for something fresh and home-cooked style foods. Place is quiet and secured.

we enjoyed our stay here.it was cheerful and bright.the balcony is a delight and the food was good.only problem was that you don´t really feel part of the boracay experience as it is so far out of the way.but really close to the pier so quick exit if you have to travel early morning or late evening.good prices compared to rest of the island too!!!!

the actopia resort is located very close to the jetty port on boracay. this means that walking to the main town and white beach is not really an option. it takes about 20min. by tricycle to get to the mall entrance at main road. the resort is good value for money, with comfortable clean cottages on a relatively quiet part of the island.

location not good, right on front of the pier, so far away from white beach, but 5-10 mins away with tricycle ride, look for the sharing tricycle so you will pay just 20 pesos, kitchen and bbq available and free for the guest, wich is very unusual for boracay, most of the other hotel caharge guests if they bring food from outside, friendly staff, nice rooms with hot shower (not all of them)cheap bar with satellite tv, clean, a bit noisy if somebody have breakfast in the morning because the tables are on the middle garden where all the rooms facing.

booked and stayed there for 5 nights, it is a walking distance from the Cagban jetty port and so after alighting the boat, we just walked 5 mins. we came there as a family with kids and the caretaker are very accomodating to us offering us help in tours and on as to how we can go to the main beach... It will take you roughly 10 minutes by tricycle to the main beach or the d' mall and will cost you 20 php each for the ride, a little costly for all 13 members of the family but the deal is the resort has cheaper rate than that of the beachfront properties. We also had a communal kitchen where we can cook our foods, one plus points for the resort since our kids have big appetite after a day's swim by the beach. We booked an aircon room and a fan room, a fan room is just ok since we arrived there in january cold season. all in all the stay is good and i recommend it to those travelling with their families on a budget.

One minute walking from pier (High season)”
Actually getting to D-mall ara is easy (15 min driving). However, if one need to depart very early or arrive in midnight, Actopia is one minute walking after leaving the boat. The is a family type restaurant opposite to Actopia for your meals.There are 2 piers. I mean the pier during the high season ie Dec-May.

location: although it's far from the infamous white beach, trikes are available 24hours to help with your tra elling needs. only 20pesos one-way. price: very budget-friendly. you get more than your money's worth. staff: very accomodating. they'll assist your every needs with a smile. rooms: big, comfortable beds. cable ready tv. personal ref. clean and well-maintained restroom. in-house safe located inside the big cabinets found in the room. cozy veranda with tables and chairs.

Very cossy and clean hotel with great rooms and even better staff treatment. Even when it is not by the sea, it will take you not more than 10 minutes by walking (ask for the shortcut). Specially good if you want to feel safe and calm after a beach day. Really close to the pier, literally 1 min walking, so ideal if you want to avoid taxi or walk around with your luggage.

Peaceful and secured place”
Had a most needed relaxation time on their comfortable bed and adequately ventilated rooms. Guests can stay at the nipa hut pavilion that sits in the center of the hotel units. Place is gated hence peaceful and secured. Very near the jetty port. Easy access to talipapa and d'mall. When we wanted the beach we just took a tricycle to go to othe beachfronti and return when we are tired. Free use of the kitchen and utensils .cable tv is available. The staff were very helpful in offering several water sport activities and ATV ride from reputable partners which made our stay fun-packed and full of happy moments. Will surely stay in this hotel in our next visit with the whole family.
