Delightful restored hotel just off the central square in Ponce. Staff were wonderful, hotel rooms were spacious, spotless and very comfortable. Don’t miss the restaurant, the owner is the chef and a masterful artist in the kitchen. Our thanks to the staff!

Basic Hotel - good location - very noisy”
The Hotel Belgica is a pretty basic hotel. Rooms are OK, but not very interesting. The balcony room is not a good choice, as there is no glass in the door, and no screen, so the room is either open to the street or dark. Might as well stay in an interior room with no windows. The bar across the street is VERY NOISY until 3AM. The breakfast is served in the main hallway of the hotel and is very basic (mostly just toast and coffee). Check out the refurbished Ramada hotel on the other side of the block - it looked a lot nicer.
