Where to stay in Braddon
Braddon hotels & accommodations

Very well located, within walking distance of the food hub of Braddon, and also walking distance to Canberra Centre - the two places that seem to be the life of Canberra. A fair bit of variety for food in Braddon - from fast food like McDonalds and Pita Pit, to food trucks, to micro breweries, fancy burger joints etc. The apartment itself was also comfortable and w...

The only comments I would make is that upon arrival, although I had booked and paid for a 5 night stay, the receptionist greeted me with "so you are staying with us for 4 nights" for which I corrected her and confirmed it was 5 nights and that I had paid for nights. On day 5, when returning back after work, I was locked out of my room. I had also booked in for breakf...

Great value and excellent location. The rooms are getting a little tired and old. The bathroom was generally clean but had a couple of patches of Canberra black mould. The car spaces are tight for larger cars. But the location. Easy walk to Braddon eating strip.

From the moment that Robbie checked us in -we have the best time in Canberra. My husband and i were down there for our anniversary for 1 night. Robbie was courteous, helpful and friendly - Everything you need to make the perfect first impression that will have us returning very soon and telling all our friends about this hotel. Great location, parking and rooms are a g...

I am recommened “Awesome apartment” to stay. Nice stay for family with young or old children. The facitities; gym, simming pool - and very close location to shopping centre, restourants, and etc. Honestly the hotel very clean and safe. I will book this hotel once in Canberra.

We chose to stay at Mercure partly out of nostalgia for the old Ainslie Rex but also because it is close to our daughter and new grandson in Braddon. It still had the old Rex charm but was tastefully refurbished with all mod cons. Breakfast in the dining room was a reminder of times past too - a great way to start the day. All the staff were very helpful and friendly...

Perfect place to stay to explore our many National monuments. The apartment was in a quiet residential block a 5 minute walk to Lonsdale St with many restaurants. It was a 15 minute walk to the city Canberra Centre where there were also many places to eat and shop. Also in the Canberra Centre is the stop for the local Cultural Loop free tourist bus which takes you to t...
