"Everytime I travel to London, I always choose to stay in the Bloomsbury area as its peaceful and everything's within a walking distance. As I was on a short stay, Hilton Euston was a good choice. Its within walking distance to the underground and near a shopping mall. The hotel staff were courteous and helpful and the room we stayed in was good overall"

"We had specifically chosen the Euston Square Hotel for a twin room, and its location, so my daughter and I could get a good nights sleep. Unfortunatly when we arrived this was not available - the problem had occurred through the Agoda booking system. So my daughter and I unsatisfactorily had to share a double bed - not conducive to her feeling rested for an important audition the next day. There was also a lot of disturbing traffic noise from the roads but that was to be expected staying on Euston Road! If my daughters rest had not been my prime pre-occupation then Euston Square hotel is great, it was spotlessly clean with excellent facilities. As we needed to be away before breakfast time, the staff were very kind and laid breakfast out for us early."

"We stayed here just one Saturday night as we were attending a nearby evening event. The next day we went to the British Museum - it was great to arrive there relaxed and fresh rather than after the usual 2-hour journey. A very comfortable and well-equipped flat - good bed and shower. Spare bed was used and I guess you could use the sofabed for additional children. Incidentally we booked parking (12.50 per day), which was convenient as it was just behind the building, but after 1.30 on a Sat you can park for free in some relatively nearby streets so this additional cost might not be needed. More about Bloomsbury

Bloomsbury and Soho are two of London’s most iconic neighborhoods. Both feature historic architecture and an excellent selection of shops, cafés, pubs and nightclubs. Hotels in Bloomsbury and Soho cater mainly for tourists who wish to stay at the center of one of London’s most colorful districts.

Bloomsbury is best known for the set of intellectuals and writers that lived here at the turn of the 20th century. Visitors come for the chance to tour the former residences of Virginia Wolf and other well-known authors, as well as to see the British Museum, with its world-renowned collection of ancient artifacts. The British Museum has the most comprehensive collection of Egyptian mummies outside of Egypt, along with other world treasures like the Rosetta Stone.

Tottenham Court Road passes through Bloomsbury and hosts a thorough set of electronics shops. Away from this area, the shopping scene in Bloomsbury is well-suited to the student population that lives at the University College. Opposite this, Soho has a much more thorough shopping scene, with the funky boutiques of Carnaby Street as well as the music shops and produce market of Berwick Street.

Soho also offers plenty of after-hours activities, with a lively set of cafés, bars and pubs lining Old Compton Street. Meanwhile, the late-night scene in Bloomsbury hinges on the university campus. In either case, hotels in Bloomsbury and Soho are located close to these busy entertainment districts so that guests can quickly and easily get back to the hotel room at the end of the day.
