Best hotels & accommodations in Manchester City Center

Duration: 4-night (4Feb to 8Feb) Trip: Hong Kong to Manchester Great location with just 3-min walk from Manchester Piccadilly, a main train station in Manchester. It took around 19-min to Manchester Airport. Very clean with comprehensive facilities in the room. Looked up for few hotels in Manchester with similar price. This one is rare with kitchen and living room. ...

I would definitely reccomended this hotel, it’s stylish and has a very classy feel about it. Me and my girlfriend stayed here for her 21st Birthday midweek. However we got the room for £130 which I thought was more than enough as the normal room price is around £300. We also got a free upgrade to the Inner Sanctum suite which was a big surprise. The room was amazing, a...

We were delighted with our choice for this visit to Manchester. We didnt want to stay in the centre but wanted to be within walking distance. The location is perfect. The hotel is spotless clean and bright and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed for two nights. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely receptionist. Our room was lovely. It was bright...

I have stayed here several times. It's clean and staff are friendly. Main attraction for me is it's so close to Canal Street. It's reasonable value for money for a City center Hotel. Ample parking in George Street car park opposite the side of the building. We don't usually use the hotel facilities as the purpose of our visit takes us out most of the day. Really quiet ...

Principal is one of the iconic building in Manchester, the interior design is comfy and classy. The breakfast is a buffet type and the variety is good. The room is modern and the ceiling is super high in my room. The location is very nice, it is just opposite to the Oxford road train station which you can connect to the Manchester airport. But if you consider the only ...

Great prices, location, in the center of Manchester, always so clean and amazing staff. Me and my partner want to say a big thanks you to the staff from Gardens Hotel, specially Michael, who always, with goodwill and patient, help us to know more about the city and places we wanted yo go.

The hotel is in central Manchester, so it’s only a quick walk to local shops, bars and restaurants. We were upgraded to a premium apartment which was great! The apartment was spacious & clean, and came with all amenities to cook after my business meetings. The staff were friendly and helpful for all our requests. We didn’t have time to use the pool or gym, but they loo...

we stayed at doubletree hilton in manchester for two nights. the hotel was clean and everyone was friendly, but for the price i would have stayed somewhere else which was closer to the city center. the location of this hotel is good if you need to be near the piccadilly station, otherwise it was a bit difficult to get to the hotel from and to other spots in the c...

very pleasant and informative at reception. good location for restaurants, shopping and manchester city football ground (concert) adequate parking located near to apartments ($10 for 24 hours) nicely furnished and well equipped kitchen single door entrance off street, could do with a little more signage

Stayed here from 23 Dec 2017 to 29 Dec 2017. Great location ( 2 minutes walk to Manchester Piccadilly Station) 10 minutes walk to Arndale/Selfridges and major shopping areas. Waitrose/SPAR/Tesco Extra all within 5 minutes. Apartments tastefully decorated. Appliances aplenty. Staff very helpful & friendly. Will be my default place to stay if visiting Manchester again...

Apartment is beautiful and spacious. Well equipped with big bedrooms, bathroom and living room. Apartment fully equipped with full kitchen. Location of apartment is right at the city center. Great place to stay for shopping and entertainment/ night life. Wifi in apartment was not working, and reception couldn't advise on how to log on correctly.

You get what you pay for. Fantastic location right in trhe city centre. I was staying to attend an exam the next day and it was quiet so no problem getting to sleep. Bed was comfortable and warm. The rooms are basic, no towels or toiletries or wardrobe, ust a sink and a shared toilet, which I had no problems getting access to at any time. I also paid for 5he shower upgr...

Stayed w/e end January for a show at the Opera House. Had booked well in advance so two double internal rooms were just £120.00. Upgraded on arrival for £10 each room for rooms with a view. V spacious and comfortable. Hotel has a restaurant and 24he bar, though we doesn't use either as we ate/drank out. It's about a 10-15 Min walk to the Opera House and about anot...

I wish I could have spend more nights in this Hilton in great Manchester city. With the reasonable price tag, I believe you really get back what you've invested. To top it all, for some strange reason we even got a room upgrade that allow us to use Club floor at the toppest floor. in this Club room, guests can enjoy free flow of drinks and snack food like muffin, cooki...

stayed here for one night on new years eve. very easy to find and easily accessible (5 min walk from manchester piccadilly train station). greeted extremely nicely whilst checking in, no problems at all with the agoda booking. rooms were beyond the standard we were expecting, nice and clean, extremely large windows, if anything just on the small side. hairdryer, ironin...

So if your staying in central manchester you are probably trying to decide between the two hatter hostels. The hilton is cleaner, has a nice garden area, but is very quiet. There is a tv room/social area and kitchen area where people gather but not many people use it. If I'm staying in manchester after a night out or for work etc I just use the hostel to sleep rather...

I booked this hotel through Agoda and had confirmation by email. On arrival at the hotel they had no information about our booking and they were fully booked. They went out of their way to help us locate another hotel for our two night stay in Manchester, not easy a there was a home Manchester City match. They tried to contact Agoda at the time without success. They to...

1.Good location in Manchest city. From London to Manchest city, here is close with Bus staion. 2.Easy to take bus to Manchest United Old Trafford Statium. 3.20 minutes walimg distance to Manchest University museaum, and shopping center area. 4.Close with China Town. Very easy to find some good Chinese style Restaurant, almost is Hongkong style. 5.Room comfortable an...

Very impressed with the apartment and the all staff we encountered were just so lovely, friendly and helpful yet efficient. Its was our first stay at CityStop but won't be our last - we booked this as we were struggling to find a reasonably priced room anywhere else (Travelodge would have been twice the price for the 4 of us) as unbeknownst to us it was the Manchester...

Customer service managers very polite and helpful. Meet and greet Mila, was lovely very informative and helpful. Would highly recommend the Dream House Apartments Manchester City Centre booked through Agoda, also very efficient and helpful, and cheaper than other companies

Hatters is located about 5-10 min walk from the Manchester Picadilly station and is 5 min walk from Picadilly Circus. You can walk to almost most of the museums and shopping centres. Or the tram from Picadilly is easy to use as well. Room was clean and big. Toilets were clean and were very seldom occupied. Showers had sufficient heat and pressure.

I stay for one week and very happy with the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. The staffs are also very helpful. I wanted to extend my stay for another two weeks, but the hotel was fully booked. The best location. A walk away from the Manchester Metropolitan City Univ, and Univ of Manchester is very close in 5 minutes walk distance. The Manchester Museum is a very ...

For Manchester this is one of the best centrally located hotels. If you are doing business in Manchester you will enjoy this hotel with a friendly professional staff within walking distance to the city center. I do go quite often to Manchester and find this hotel to be the best deal in town as far as price and location.

The hotel's location is pretty good considering the price. It is 5mins away from St Peter's Square tram station, providing access to many parts of Manchester City, which is really convenient. There are many restaurants (casual dining and posh places too) nearby especially chinese/asian food as Chinatown is just round the corner. Double Room is pretty small but we wer...

The SACO Aparthotel is located in the Manchester Piccadilly . We take just a few minutes walk to Manchester Arndale almost every day for shopping. In the meantime, we went to Tesco Metro on the way back to the hotel. I love the accommodation of this kind because the equipped kitchen is made full use of when cooking ourselves for the kids. It costs 10 mins' walk to...

The staff is absolutely brilliant and the location is spot on, although the hotel itself needs a good refurb. Beds really comfy, TV signal was cutting off, the heating in the bathroom and our room was on, even though it was absolutely boiling outside. Long black hairs in bathtub upon arrival. Lock on my hotel room door broken so could not lock room. Menu in restaurant is from a different Travelodge so many items not available at this hotel. Internet SUPER SLOW so could not use skype to call my wife due to the weak signal and even checking emails difficult. All of this with an additional charge for the internet. Very...

I booked this hotel late therefore was very suprised at the very competitive price. The room wa the lowest price available so I didn't expect much. I won't lie; it's no 5* hotel with oodles of facilities and perks. The bathroom didn't have any real supplies and the room wasn't too well equipped. That said... for what I paid it was spot on. The chap who greeted me wa v...

Location is quite close to station, room is clean, environment is special because it is next to the student hostel. Frankly speak, overall rating is average, BUT given at this price, I will not expect luxurious services. So after considering the price, this hostel is probably having the most highest services-to-price ratio. I give 9/10.

My stay at Hotel Ibis Manchester was one of the most comfortable I had so far. The facilities were up to standard, clean and modern. The staff were friendly and attentive. Finally, the hotel is accessible and well within the city centre and transport systems.

Really happy with my hotel choice. Staff were very helpful and friendly, room was lovely and breakfast really good. The location was excellent! Came recently unfortunately for only one night. I love trying new serviced apartments instead of staying in hotels As I enjoy the freedom you get and the cooking facilities. The hotel is in a central location, recently built and the apartment was very clean and well furnished. However the sound insulation in the building is woefully inadequate leaving the apartment I was in sounding like part of the club in the printworks, I could literally hear every word of every track from midnight until 7am. The apartment also has a Juliette balcony in...

We are very happy to chose this hotel for our first timer visit Manchester City. The hotel location and breakfast are excellent. Most importantly, my twins were very happy...

The check in staff were friendly and ensured a warm welcome was given. We got in to our room early which was fantastic!! The location for us was ideal for where we wanted to be in Manchester. More about Manchester City Center
There are not that many historic attractions in the modern revision of Manchester. One of the most important structures in the city center is the Town Hall, which was completed in 1877 and has a stern Gothic exterior. Inside is artwork by Ford Madox Brown, and guided tours are available by request.
Bridgewater Hall is the new addition to this city. It hosts the local philharmonic and other events. The same goes for Manchester Central, which was formerly a railway station. Both of these buildings are popular venues for conferences and seminars, and hotels in the city center respond with excellent business facilities.
For commercial tourists, a major stop on any trip to Manchester city center is the Marks and Spencer department store, which is the biggest member of its franchise in Europe. The building itself is spectacular, with five floors of gleaming walls and glass elevators.
The Piccadilly Gardens are also found in Manchester city center. This is one of the most attractive neighborhoods in the city, with pedestrian-friendly areas. The park begins near the busy shopping area of Market Street and extends east to Piccadilly Gardens Station. This is an important transport hub for anyone using the local metro.
