Best hotels & accommodations in Murrayfield
The hotel is very large and on the city ourtskirts, near Murrayfield and the zoo. The corridors and rooms, inc. bathrooms, are quite dated and tired. As in every Holiday Inn, the internet is a rip-off. The lounge areas were cold and unsocial. Not the best hotel, or Holiday Inn, i've ever stayed in.
i choose the murrayfield at random as i needed a one night stopover and somewhere near the airport (about 20 mins in a car) and i wish i had longer. the room i was given on the first night was lovely with a double bed and all the amenities you need. i had dinner in the bar, very nice and great value.. the scottish breakfast in the restaurant in the morning was hu...
Great location to get into Edinburgh centre, by bus. Room near & tidy. Breakfast was great. Some staff pleasant others not so but overall stay was good & would recommend hotel to others.
