Find hotels near Okinawa in Okinawa Main island, Japan

One of the hotels in Okinawa which offer Japanese tatami room at a very reasonable price. Love the rooms. Super spacious and comes with balcony. Location wise it's on top of hill so it can be a little out of the place if you do not drive. Excellent service rendered by the staff here. Breakfast is really delicious too. They offer free shuttle bus pick up from the airport which is a major plus! THey can even arrange for rental cars for you. As we arrive late in Okinawa for DAy 1, we took their FREE shuttle bus to the hotel and arranged for a rental car the next morning.

We stayed on the 3rd Floor with 3 rooms (6 bed in total). There are 2 bath room with washing machine and dryer as well. You can cook if you wish to. The flat is very nice and comfortable but the bed is a bit soft.... The only thing that makes me unhappy is the pickup arrangement of the key. This is the fault of AGODA! After you book the hotel, they will send a confirmation email to you with pdfs.. Well, I do think most people will ignore it as this is kind of formality. But this time, this definitely cause you TROUBLE because your accommodation and check-in desk are in separate places. (20 KM away!!!) Key handover and guidance will be done at front desk of Kariyushi Urban Resort Hotel in Naha, from 10:00 to 20:00. (WHICH IS 20KM AWAY from the apartment) I discovered this 2 days before my stay..... since we are cycling there from the North of Okinawa....that's impossible for us to cycle to Naha and go back to the apartment (a total of 20km x 2)... At that moment, we call agoda HK to try to resolve the problem. Agoda try to help and reply me 1 day before the stay.... See below for their exact wordings. "With regards to the key pick up please be advised to contact back the property directly at reserve@kariyushicondo.jp. As they are able to give your key but have to be there on sharp" To me...this is not acceptable...I do expect they help to date a time for key pickup…. We do not expect people on Okinawa know English and please don’t expect us to know Japanese as well….. At last, I need to find my Japanese speaking friend to call the apartment and to date the time for key pickup….. AGODA! Poor arrangement!! You should let people know the key arrangement before they book the hotel! Not after…….

the hotel location is good not perfect but ok and in the half way from both east and west coast. the hotel is look like a private palace, the room was super big with a massage chair on it and was super clean as well the best in that hotel is the stuff, they was super nice and friendly. there is a breakfast you can order for 600yen which is super cheap as you can eat plenty of food and free drinks was a chocolate as well

This is a great place for the money. The staff was very nice and very helpful. We didn't eat lunch or dinner here much, (only once) but the breakfasts (American) that we had were delicious. We went for karate training, so the location was fine for us. Not much to see or do there, altho there was a very nice zoo not far from the hotel. Parking was limited, but we didn't have too much of a problem. This is an older hotel, so don't expect a lot of bells and whistles, but I would for sure stay here again when in Okinawa. The staff rocked!!!!

The owner was the best person i met in Okinawa. He is so friendly and helpful. You feel very comfortable when communicating with him. Overall a very good place to experience. For girls can take alot of nice photo, you can put on their traditional clothes as well. So definitely wont regret to be here. For those who are driving, you dont have to worry as there is a parking lot right in front of the house.

Very good, didn't have much of a problem. WiFi pretty reliable in the main hotel. I messed up my reservation and needed one more night to stay, no rooms were available, but they offered me the house out back. Highly recommend it...no internet in the house, but i liked living "off the grid" for a day...plus, jus go to the main lobby if you need internet fix. Jus remember it's a old building, don't expect the "Ritz"...the staff (mother and son) are very nice and accommodating. I would definitely stay there again ;-)

The space offered was definitely big.... because it was an old pub converted into a room. Yes, you have the whole pub on the second floor as your room. However, the place is old and a little rundown. The furniture (except the beds) are old pub furniture re-used. You can still see cigarette marks on some of them. Overall, a pleasant unique experience, with helpful staff and very big space.
