I stayed at the Dictionary hostel a couple of years ago - wow what an improvement compared to then. The hostel was really clean, the reception is way bigger, the food at the bar was great and the room was really nice and quiet even though it looked onto the main street in Shoreditch. The staff are so friendly and did everything they could to help me during my stay - thanks guys! They have this cool app that I downloaded and I found loads of stuff to do in the local area. So much great street art in this neighbourhood! The breakfast was quite basic but it had everything you needed - I chose to go to the bar where they do a full English with a 20% discount for guests. The room was clean and tidy and I had it to myself. It looked like they have just had new windows installed or something. I remember it was a bit noisy last time but this time it was really quiet. Enjoyed my stay - will come back.

Booked a small room for five nights. The bedroom and bathroom were super clean (room service every single day) and the staff is going out of their way to ensure you have everything you need. You get free tea and coffee whenever you like. There's not an awful lot of storage, you get a couple of hangers on a rack and two drawers which is completely fine for short-term stays. Bear in mind that if you're sharing a room, the en suites don't offer a lot of privacy due to the sliding door, that might be different with the apartments. There's free wi-fi and they even got Netflix. The hotel is located right next to London Overground station Hackney Central, great for getting around London, bad if you have a light sleep. It's fine when the windows are closed though, the rooms have air con and you will find ear plugs on your bedside table. There's a Tesco and several pubs and shops nearby. It takes around 15 minutes to get to Camden by train. We really enjoyed our stay and will book again!

What a fabulous hotel. We were so impressed with this place. The customer service was second to none! Absolutely spot on professional, friendly, accommodating, very impressive! The rooms were spotless, and very comfortable, very quiet, even in the heart of Shoreditch, we didn't have any noise coming through at all. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. There was a fridge with water for us, a safe, lovely toiletries, coffee and tea making facilities etc. Due to us visiting during the pandemic, we had to have a continental breakfast delivered to our room, which was perfect for us - a choice of pastries, yoghurts, fruit pots, cheese, cereal bars, juice etc, fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff (we requested an iron and ironing board, and they were brought to the room, as were the fresh towels we requested). I would highly recommend this hotel, and would definitely return. The area itself is , lively and fun. Lots of excellent restaurant, bars, shops, etc

My girlfriend and I visited London for a friends 30th birthday and were looking for a place to stay in Hackney. We found this hotel which was 0.3 miles away from the place we were going to which was a massive bonus! And it was great value for money! The staff were great and really friendly. Checking in was quick and easy and the rooms were great! if you are just looking for a bed for the night then this is definitely the place. Small but clean, tidy and has a TV and plenty of coffee for that awful hangover the next morning! Would definitely recommend and no doubt we will be back again when we come back to London!

We know, that your house is a Holiday Inn Express Hotel. We need no special things like a swimming pool or or big hotel bar, because we come to London for visiting our daughter. She is there for two months working in a lawyer agency and she missed us. Your house was perfect for all, what we need. When we arrived and look in our room, we recognized, that the shower gel was empty. We told it to the servant at the reception an half an hour later, the gel was refilled. So everything was okay, the staff very friendly. When we to London one more, we will book your house again. Thank you.

It was a very comfortable stay. Really liked the idea that they have a microwave in every room. Makes it very convenient. City centre is far away but it is easily accessible by tube. The nearest tube station is at Manor House which leads directly to the Heathrow Airport Terminal 5. It takes about 1hr 40 minutes and costs about 3 pounds from Heathrow. Hotel is very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed my stay. Would definitely take this hotel on my next visit to London

Justina was very kind and responsive. She was able to acommodate my 4 year old despite my oversight in booking the room. She also was kind enough to be upfront about the additional night. She was quick to respond and very friendly. The room was fairly clean and had everything we needed. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I would come again to stay here. This was a vastly different experience compared to my last visit to London when I stayed at Finsbury Park Apartments, which was horrible.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Courthouse Hotel. We arrived early and were met with a very friendly concierge, our room was ready to check in to and as it was my wife's birthday they gave us some free prosecco at the bar and a slice of cake in the room. A great start! The room itself was huge (for a London hotel), very comfortable bed, nice shower and all very clean. We also used the swimming pool and gym the next day, both of which are fine. the pool could do with a little spruce up, but nothing serious. The downstairs bar is very nice, if a little quiet during the day. The rooftop terrace is fantastic, shame it wasnt open/in use when we went (November). With some blankets and heaters this could be a briliant year round bar with great views. location wise, it is perfect. Walking distance to all bars and clubs and restaurants in Shoreditch, bnnot far from Old Street tube and the Overground. I'd highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

I had a very good stay at the Landmark apartments and was pleasantly surprised with the facilities in my Executive apartment. Although compact, it contained everything I needed for my 5 night business stay.The room was very clean and the bedding was even changed after a couple of days. The staff were particularly helpful and friendly and anything I needed was sorted out immediately. There was one night when the music from the restaurant below was very loud, but it stopped at a reasonable hour, and it was Xmas! I thought the apartments were very good value (I had a deal) particularly for the location in Shoreditch and I will recommend to friends and use it again. I would like to thank the staff for being so helpful.
