Good resort for the price”
Maybe a little pricey-Great service-friendly staff.20-30 peso ride on trike to town.Facing the front go left to Bauang-right to San fernando.Main highway you can take a jeepney 10 pesos and ride quite a distance toward San Fernando.Buaung good for walking around.A few good eating paces.Cheaper than the resort prices.Best nights to stay Tues-Thurs & check out Fri morn.Fri to Mon Karaoke gets pretty loud starts 2 pm until 8:30PM Room 3 good room-double bed for 1 or couple.1 min walk to the beach.Swim pool for kids/teens.Over-all I recommend Bu Boat-Great staff!I will go again.

Great Value for money”
I took my parents to this resort and I was not disappointed. I love the place and beach was amazing. The pool was a bit too salty and probably had too much chemicals that day. The room was very clean, but I think the staff forgot to remove a bar of used soap in the bathroom. Other than that, the place was very warm and cozy. The staff were mostly hospitable and really nice. We highly recommend this resort for anyone who wants a nice outing in La Union.

Overall an Okay Place to Stay”
The beach and the pool are both in good condition. Staff was also friendly and accomodating. Only problem we've encountered is that they weren't able to serve dinner due to possible shortage in cooking staff. There were no nearby restaurants to eat from outside the resort so we had to skip dinner instead. Hopefully this does not happen again in the future if we would revisit this resort. Setting aside the dinner problem, the resort is an okay place to stay. Just bring along food with you just in case this happens again.

The good thing in this resort is that, it is near the shoreline, nice sunset to view and we has a good timing of good weather so the sea water was clear with small waves. We've got standard room coz it was an abrupt decision to go to the beach but it has personal ref and the water is strong at the cr. If you are sensitive, for information the room was dusty, there was mosquitoes, the aircon was not really cold at mid noon but we managed to sleep coz i did not expect too much for a room worth P1,9+... The food was good except that it was oily indeed and you have to endure the heat eating outside your room since there's no table inside and you have to wait for 20-30minutes for them to cook and prepare. The water of the swimming pool is salty and the size is smaller than the standard. The wifi connectivity was good and it is up to the shoreline.

Nice place at beach front in San Fernando but quite far from San Juan area. If you're looking for less populated beach and not for surfing, this would be a good accommodation.

Room rates are quite expensive for the type of room they have for a family of four. There were cobwebs at the sides of the bed. The cupboard at the bathroom was uncleaned for maybe weeks so you can't really use it to put your stuff. There is no lifeguard. Swim at your own risk. It was already past 10 in the morning yet the pool was just being cleaned with chemicals. Who wants to swim at noon anyway?! The beach though was awesome. Simple yet awesome.

In need of an urgent facelift. ”
Bu Boat Beach Resort is not a resort. It has the potential to be an excellent resort but sadly the place is run down, dirty and the staff are not customer focused to say the least. Best give this place a miss. Lots of other option in the area.

Good value for money, excellent location and very friendly staff but my unit needs a bit of cleaning especially if it has not been occupied for a while. I'm sure the unit was cleaned but left unoccupied for a bit of time, dust will accumulate and should have been cleaned again.

nice accommodation, friendly and accommodating staff.. only for improvement clean pathway going to the seashore, more tables chairs or cabanas on the seashores because some wants to see the sunset and want to feel the summer breeze and fresh air from sea..

We had a pleasant stay and will visit again. However, our room did not have a shower heater and the food is a bit pricey. I also suggest thicker curtains for privacy.

Nice place to stay. Clean rooms and bathrooms but the room is not so cold. They served breakfast and some foods. The staff are very accommodating. They helped us buy our foods at the market & they also cooked it.

No water and electricity!”
There was no electricity and water when we arrived. Was told to take a bath at the common cr (we booked a room with aircon and private bathroom). Asked if we could just refund so we can transfer to a hotel who has generator. Was told to coordinate with Agoda. When Agoda called the hotel to verify information, the hotel informed Agoda that we are just fine even if there's no water and electricity. Decided to stay but was asking for partial refund since we paid for a room with aircon and there was no electricity dring our stay. No action done till now both from the hotel and Agoda. So disappointing!

Worst hotel we ever had in La Union.”
Worst hotel in la union ever. We were not able to sleep as aircon is so noisy and not cooling but blowing hot air. Poor water supply thus, shower is not working. Breakfast was not included in the room and food was so expensive. Cup noodles is P50, airport price. Nothing is good in this place, should not be accredited anymore by agoda. So disappointing resort.
