Quite comfortable to stay there, it was very near to the tanah rata bus terminal, the hostel staff was very helpful. Not able to get the wifi in the room, too bad need to go down to the common area to get the wifi.

The location is very accessible. If you are a keen of shopping/party goer then this truly suit your needs. The staff are not that friendly. The cleanliness wasn’t good enough especially these pandemic days, they must maintain a high precautionary measures in every particular areas most especially in the room and in public areas. The linens look untidy, I recommend to change into whites instead of brown. Make sure to change the linens regularly. The windows are dusty and found a used tissue hanging in there. That is the most important to look up to. First impression plays a significant role in every way though. However, despite all of these negative things. I am still thankful for allowing me to experience in your hostel. Also, grateful that your building is a COVID free, here I am still safe and healthy. Thank you.

Perfect location and great service”
The hostel was easy to find and in a perfect location. It's right by an MTR station, a number of museums, an airport bus line stop, and the famous Promenade. When we got there, Ms. Sherie and Mr. John were immediately kind and helpful; they made us feel very welcome. They gave us a map and provided detailed directions to popular tourist destinations. They even upgraded our room free of charge. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and had fast, reliable wifi. We would definitely stay at Budget Hostel Hong Kong again. Thanks!

Hostel is located inside the famous Chunking mansion. Everyone in Hong Kong knows about this building. Near to metro right middle of city. It's a building with more than 50plus hostels ( infact 90percent of hostels in Agoda are inside this building ) shops, money exchange, restaurants are available downstairs. If you're aim is to stay at hotel all the time during your trip then don't choose it. I used it for sleeping in night, taking shower and I spent entire day seeing Hong Kong. Lifts will be busy during daytime. Leave early for the day and come late at night then lift will be free. You get to live with multi national roommates. Free coffee, microwave, blanket but no Lock for bathroom but you have locker facility for your valuables. If you are ready to adjust with minimum facilities,small room and crowded building then go for it. After all you are going stay just for 3-4 days.. Be ready to adjust your self when you are paying so cheap amount to stay.

Satisfy, and u got what u paid”
we stayed for 2 nite. overall we satisfy with the hostel. the hostel near from tsim sha tsui MTR, stores and alot of halal food at downstairs. we order for triple room ( 3 person in the room). the room not quite big but enough for us. there have a fan, ac, refrigator and hot water for bath. They provide tooth brust, soap, shampoo but for towel u hve ask them first. because they not hang/put it in the bathroom. for the staff so friendly. Rahul, maila and anton. they are so helpfull. especially anton who is so nice staff, helpfull and cleaned our room. thats all,,,

Great stay at Budget Hostel Hong Kong”
Staff Sherie, Love and Dev were very helpful during my stay at Budget Hostel Hong Kong. They were able to answer any questions I had and took good care of my luggage which I deposited with them for safekeeping. The hostel is also right next to the MTR which makes it very convenient. There is also a Cafe de Coral beside it - so good food is never far. Will return again!

Good if you travel a shoestring”
There were 12 people in our group. We chose this hotel due to price and location. Chungking Mansion is a huge block of residential units. Some of the floors of this building are converted to hotel rooms. We were warned to be extra careful with our belongings as so many people from all nations come in/out of this building. You get what you pay for. One of the room we had, there's the double bed right there at the door as you open it, then the toilet. So it's just double bed and toilet not much space else. The rest of us were in slightly more comfortable rooms. Hotel is walking distance to 2 stations Tsim Sha Tsui and East Tsim Sha Tsui.

great location/close to public transportation”
This hostel is in the centre of Tsim Sha Shui. It's very easy to go from the airport by the bus number a21 and get off at the busstop number 14. It's in the shopping centre area. There is a 24hour cctv in the lift. Even though there is only one small lift but it's okay. I love here and wanna come back again.

Great value for money spent”
Although the room was small for 5 people and the upper decks of the double-decked beds were too near the ceiling making them impossible to climb and sleep on, we did have a great time. The hotel was easy to find once you locate Nathan Road, very accessible via the airport bus and the MTR. The staff were also nice and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this to travelers on tight budgets and with limited time in Hong Kong. You'll be travelling during the day and won't really spend much time at the hostel, anyway.

First my family and I want to extend our sincerest Thank you to Ate Myla who made our stay in the hostel easy. Super commendable. We love you ate Myla. We stayed 5 days 4 nights, I have no problem with room 1037. My sister and his 3 sons stayed at 1038, the room needs repair esp the Cr. The beddings was not changed at all during our 4 nights stay. But overall its worth every single peso, perfect location for travellers like us. Receptionist were alao grear. Thank you budget hostel. More bookings to come

Convenient and cheap”
Although there was some conflicts between my family and the hotel, I will choose this hostel again for 3 reasons: + Service: I visited HK with 19 people and we rented 7 rooms which are cleaned every day. The receptionist speaks English fluently so you don't need to worry about the language difference. My first room did not have the refrigerator like description so I complaint to the reception. At first, they just talked it off but I continued to complaint (5 times or so) and they transferred me to a luxury room. It depends on the room you choose (2 bedrooms or 3 bedrooms) and your luck that you will get a good room. My family got 2 luxury and 5 normal ones at the same price. + Position: i-Square center is in the opposite of the road. Actually, the whole Nathan Road is the biggest shopping center in Kowloon so don't worry. The surrounding area opened until 12AM and you can easily access the bus and the MTR (in the basement of i-Square center) + Price: not the cheapest but suitable for the price. Disadvantage: you may freak out at first because the ground level seems complex but they won't do anything to you. But don't buy anything in the building.

Second time great service for a little hotel chain”
First let's make things clear: I'm a frequent traveler and I've stayed in the upscale brands and the hmmmmm....rooms to let 50 fitty cent variety. It's all about the service and the room. For me the room is for sleeping, short rests, and showers the necessities of a toilet. Let's start with the service. This is the second time I've stayed with this group operating in the Chung King mansions. I got great service then and I got great service now. They gave me a beautiful small room that was clean with working everything and lightening fast internet. The two guys on point there were Preet and Aman. What I love about this building is the melting pot of people that work at the location. No one has been rude or obnoxious. There's hustlers outside selling "authentic" Rolex and Prada bags but if you say no they're still friendly and will help if you need info. This location is hot to upscale shopping, the Star Ferry, three museums, and foods for the budget wise or the heavy wallet. To the left is the pier and the museums. Specifics about the room are: Full size bed that can sleep my jumbo frame and one other person in front of the door, bag storage under the bed, wall fan, a/c, hair dryer, combo toilet/ shower room, sink, local phone, and flat screen T.V. The room was clean no bugs, recently decorated with new fixtures, clean and nice bedding, free hot water (here I suggest bringing your own cup). If this style isn't suited to you I suggest you dump out some cash for the big brands. Peace.

I went to HK with my wife. We stay in this hotel (room no 1033) for 4 and half days. It was really a comfortable stay. Rooms and toilets are quite clean. All hotel staffs are quite helpful and have good conduct. A young Indian punjabi guy named Aman Deep Sing who helped to repair our electric plug point within few mins after we report the problem to the hotel reception. He is a cool and smart guy and we had a long chat about his birth place, family and etc. We also met the room cleaner (JOSIE), is a very softspoken lady. She can provide you any toiletries whenever you need it. Anyway, it was absolutely worthful stay for us in Budget Hotel.
