My partner and I chanced upon the Bugang Riverside Inn after searching through Agoda and it far surpassed any of our expectations! Rooms are spacious, very clean with comfortable bed, hot shower, cable tv and mosquito nets. It's in a very relaxed location and is beautifully built using quality wood. The resort features a large sheltered restaurant/social area. The food available was simply delicious, with a large variety of options to choose from on the menu. Every meal we ate during our stay was excuisitely cooked and presented and very reasonably priced. Service was exceptional, we were never left waiting longer than a minute to receive a menu or a drink and the food arrived promptly after ordering. Very classy service. What made this resort stand out from any other we've stayed at throughout the Philippines was the owners. David and Liane are such awesome hosts and really made our stay special. David took us on a hike through the forest to an awesome swimming spot at no cost, purely to allow us to enjoy some time exploring the area. They really went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and we were very sad to have to be leaving! If you're planning to visit Antique province then I could not recommend this place more !

Great hospitality”
We travelled as 2 friends and had an amazing stay at Bugang Riverside Inn. Their rooms are clean, beds are nice and soft and the whole atmosphere is great. But David and his wife Liane made this experience a perfect one! They were very helpful for us in planning our trips and even took us to a beautiful unexplored waterfall where we could swim in all calmness. Our stay was a great one! Would definitely recommend Bugang Riverside Inn!

Best place for your stay in Pandan!”
We received the best welcome we could have ever imagined. Liana is lovely and so excited to show you around the area. She took us straight to the cold springs, arranged for a tubing experience and showed us the local way. When we asked if it would be possible to rent a motorbike she quickly arranged for it for us. She made our stay so pleasant and easy that we decided to stay a few more days and use Pandan as a home base for daytrips. The food is really good too. Make sure to bring enough cash with you to Pandan though as the closest ATM that accepts international carda is 1.5 hours away (Caticlan or Kalibo)!

Feels like home away from home”
It was probably one of the longest travel we had all the way from davao-bcolod-iloilo-pandan.All the stress and hassle of traveling was worth it when we arrived here.The owners were kind enough to fetch us from the bus terminal (for free)since we arrived late at night.We booked the family room for 4,it was simple,clean and very spacious.Breakfast was wxcluded from our bookings but glad we had breakfast there,their longganisa is really satisfying.The owners are probably one of the most hospitable people i met,they arranged motorcycle ride for us to tour Pandan area.Oh,another plus points for this resort is the oversized towels!haha!it was overall a great stay even just for the shortest period of time.

We enjoy a 3 night stay in this little resort ! We like it, David make us feel like at home. The food is all fresh, very good french fries (Fresh Patatoes :). We like it, probabbly best value in Pandan !

Serendipity!”
It was only by accident that I found out about this amazing place and the nearby Malumpati springs (I was on my way to Romblon, which was not as straightforward as I hoped it to be). All the more I was more than happy about this lucky find. I was very warmly welcomed by David and Liane, an Australian-Filipino couple who are excellent hosts. I was thrilled by their hospitality and kindness. David gave me a bunch of hints what to explore in the surrondings (Malumpati is a real gem!!!). Liane is a superb cook (of which unfortunately I've found very few in the Philippines). She was so kind as to drive me to the bus station early in the morning for free to catch my bus to Caticlan and even drove after it as we saw it passing by. @Liane: I made it to Romblon that day. Thank you so much!!! The inn and room itself are very beautiful and lovingly decorated. It's located in a lush tropical garden, near the river with homely restaurant/seating area. The room spotless clean and very spacious. Excellent value. I really enjoyed my most relaxing stay, even though I regret not to have stayed longer than 2 nights. I highly recommend the place!!!

Pluses: * The owner of the inn, David was very accommodating. * He was very proactive as well in recommending different places to visit within the area. * The place is well maintained. * I also loved their staff. Very hospitable and polite. Kudos to Jason and David’s wife for the warm welcome. * If you want peace and quiet, this is definitely the place. * The mountain view from the resto area was also perfect! Even better if: * Installation of ACs on all the rooms would be very nice specially during summer season. * There’s something off with the family room though (this is where we stayed). It looks dark and gloomy. Maybe the owner can consider putting more light in it or changing the interior into a more welcoming ambiance by adding bright or “summery” colors perhaps. :) * I also felt like mama and I were not alone in the room. I hope it’s just me and my wild imagination. Sorry David. You know I love you. Thanks again.

Exceptional”
The place is located less than 5 minutes from malumpati cold spring. The staff is super kind and although I only met one of the owners, he was just as I had read in the other reviews. Such a good guy. The place looks like a 5 star getaway. Seriously, it's like you can host a bar mitzvah party outside. Highly recommend. Room is large with a huge bed, there is hot water, ceiling fan which works well. WiFi is good too.

The place is beautiful! Very close to the mains attractions in the area... the staff is super kind and the owner and his wife are very very good people... They were always very good and kind with us... they were always helping us in wherever we need... the food is so good for a very affordable price...

Amazing stay ”
By far, the best place we stayed in Philippines. 4 days was not enough! We really enjoyed our stay there. Leanne and David are awesome hosts. Kind and friendly as well as the staff. They take really good care of their guests and we felt like home. We enjoyed talking and sharing drinks with them after dinner. We actually learnt a lot about Philippines thanks to them. The room was spacious and clean as well as the bathroom. Restaurant is good and has western food and Filipino specialties. We only tried Filipino specialties and it was delicious. Leanne is a great cook!! Overall we highly recommend this place!! David and Leanne, if you read this: thanks again guys!! We'll be back!

Pleasantly surprising stop off!”
Lovely stay with David and Leanne who made us feel so welcome and part of their family. A great chance to see the real Philippines. Really relaxed but with loads to do because of David's knowledge of the best spots. Lovely home cooked food overlooking the river. Our cabin room was very homely and welcoming. Really felt at home here and was sad to go. TIP: There are no ATMs in this area so take enough cash with you!

Not really beside the river”
Honestly, upon arrival, got so surprised that the location was way too far from the Malumpati cold springs. The room itself was also disappointing, but thought you get what you pay for anyway. But what really really surprised us was that in spite of, we ended up so happy we were able to stay there, like it turned out as a happy mistake!! The amazing young owner and a super amiable staff who made us feel like we were staying as VIP guests of long-time friends, made up for everything else. They took such good care of us, provided for all our requests, cooked really tasty food (dinner and breakfast), offered free transport, all of these as if we were in a friendly homestay with old buddies. I wish the owner will win the lotto one day and build a nice resort for her to run. Then with her vision and excellent attitude in life, she would be the best hotel operator in the area.

A real home away from home! ”
What a wonderful place to stay! The owners, David and Liane, go out of their way to make guests feel more than just welcome, but truly at home. The setting and resort design is beautiful, lovely mountain views from the dining area, and natural wood and thatch constructions that fit perfectly with the landscape. Marked down slightly on facilities so I can give full marks once the pool is built - for sure I will be staying here again!

A home away from home”
The original plan was to stay for a night but upon seeing the place and superb hospitality, we have extended it for another night. The place is very quiet away from the noisy bars and so we had a good sleep at night. Not just that, we even had our karaoke night. We also rented David's mortorbike which made our journey stress-free and enjoyable. I recommend this place if you want value for your money and excellent customer service :)

Easy to locate the place and near Malumpati Cold Spring. Very polite staffs and thanks to owner David and Filipina wife Liane for always care and happy to serve delicious meals and Icy beer in their resto bar. Highly recommended for those couples and families. Hopeful to come back with my family.
