Best hotels & accommodations in Ninh Binh

it was a great place to stay in Ninh Binh, when you are doing the Tam coc boat ride, you will passed by this place. you can just seat on their restaurant to see the boat passed by and it was a relaxing sight. they also provide bicycle & motorbikes to wander around Ninh binh. im definitely go back to this place and recommend this to everyone.

If you're going to stay in Trang An opposed to the city center of Ninh Binh, this is hands down the place to stay! Scenery/landscape was beautiful. There was a large garden and many tables/lounge chairs right on the river. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Free breakfast was satisfactory. Other food items were a little expensive for Vietnam, but the prices were...

Amazing peaceful place to immerse yourself in nature Perfect location, near Mua Cave, we can walk there to enjoy the sightseeing in cool breezes and local life on the way. I had a highlight stay here in Ninh Binh, i planned only stay 1 night, but i changed mind, 2 -3 nights here is amazing. just Remember t bring mosquito spray

From the moment I arrived in Ninh Binh, Minh and his family saw to it that my stay was comfortable and that the time I spent there was used efficiently. First, I got to check in early (9 a.m.!) and breakfast, which I had ordered in advance, was waiting for me when I arrived. Then, Minh took me on a tour on both days of my stay, during which I was able to adjust the it...

Just about the perfect weekend getaway from Hanoi. Half a dozen bungalows, all with excellent views. Only kind of a pain to find and get to, but this is part of the charm. You really get left alone here and after the daily grind of life in Hanoi, this is just about the perfect escape. I could happily sit in the hammock and read all day. Or, for those of you looking to ...

Ninh Binh Bungalow Homestay is close to the Bai Dinh Temple and it is in a nice and quiet village. Not many tourist like in Tam Coc or Ninh Binh. The host is very helpful and lovely. She helps you with everything you need for your stay and she speaks English very well. The food is delicious. Stay there for dinner, it’s plenty and very good.

Traveler impressions of Ninh Binh
We were staying in Tam Coc so did not see much from Ninh Binh itself, but in the area around Ninh Binh there are many things worth visiting
Interesting stop over but very spread out and not much to see, It is a working city. Pretty extensive markets but people are a bit wary of the tourist.
there is place called Thung Nham resort where you can see the birds, not very far from the center, near Tam Coc.
Nice area for sightseeing within close proximity to Ha Noi city (2hrs drive). Famous for boat trip to Tam Coc/Bich Dong and Trang An.
A nice place to relax, take a boat and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Friendly people, cheap and super-delicious food and wine.
Come here for the natural scenary and nothing else. There are limited restaurants nearby and little to do other wise.
Ninh Binh is not use to non Vietnamese speaking tourist. There is really not much to see or do in the evening after we have been out on tours.
Tam Coc (7 km fom Ninh Binh was pretty and a worthwhile place to visit. It is very touristy so be prepared for a few traps - Boxes of handicrafts on boats, photograph sellers and selling inflated price drinks for boatmen.
We loved Ninh Binh there is a great family run restaurant near the train station called Trung Tuyet we ate there all the time the food is fantastic and very cheap and the family are lovely the morning we left they gave as a pack of biscuits and some bananas for the train ride to our next stop it was very nice of them
Good city as a stop over. Worth renting a motorbike and driving around the place. Pollution levee extremely high.
Very quiet. The few bars and restaurants seemed to close at around 8.30 to 9.30pm. A good base for sight seeing in the area but too quiet for me.
This is the city if you wanna learn about the history of vn,they also have a lots of caves in the tourist area, the name of it is trang an most ofthem very beautyful
You have to visit Trang An grotto and the pagoda at Tam Coc Bich Dong. In the evening you can enjoy Van Long.
Get awây from the búsy main road and you will find lót òf interésting streets to experience. The markets are dơưn by the river.
A quiet city where it appears not much happens, it is a good base to explore the surrounding countryside
The town itself is only a jumping off point to see the attractions of the area, other than that there is little to do in the town.
Visit Tam Coc early in the morning , then all of the temples ,Get Kim Lien to arrange her brother to take you around on his motorbike , he will show you the beautiful back roads , especially in to Hua Lu , wow! The turtle centre and primate centre at Coc Phuoc is doing good work and needs support , but Its not much for sightseeing , go to a zoo to see monkeys and turtles .
The local market of Ninh Binh city is very authentic, a real Vietnamese market. You even get frest dog meat and other delicatessen.
We really enjoyed getting away from the crazy activity of the big cities to enjoy the peace and scenery of the countryside.
The city itself has nothing to offer travellers, but it is a good location for sightseeing of nearby places.
Not much to do in the city except for finding street side eateries. You can see all the major sights in one full day so 2 nights in the area was perfect.
I have to say that we spected something else. The city has nothing to see and the surroundings are ok, but can't be compare with Yangshou as they do.
It is really just a big dusty city, with very little to see, but if you stay on the other side of the river it is much prettier with views of the mountains, and you are minutes away from the locals, markets and great bycicle rides
Very quiet, apart from city area, but that has nothing to offer, just go for fantastic countryside and caves
