I only stayed for one night and I checked in late evening. I think the old man is the owner and he was very sweet. His English was very limited, but he was very friendly. I loved that it was on top of the mountain and it's so close to Cape Hedo. There is AC and your own bathroom in the room. His English was very limited, but he was very friendly. I loved that it was on top of the mountain and it's so close to Cape Hedo. There is AC and your own bathroom in the room. I assumed it was communal, but was pleasantly surprised and he provided all of the toiletries. The setup of the place makes you feel like you're at summer camp. There is an observation deck for you to view the forested mountain. I think next time I will extend my stay in the northern part of Okinawa. I felt very homey and cozy and would love to camp out here next time. I would highly recommend this place and am looking forward to coming back.
