i really enjoyed my stay at the C and L Sea view. Rooms were clean. loved the showers. in Dipolog hard to find good showers. i am going to stay there every year when i go back. good air port transportation. had free breakfast buffet every morning on the roof top. ate most dinner there in there also. the only thing is the service in the restaurant. Was not good most of the time. unless you were from Filipino. most the time i had to go get the waiter. they would walk past and act like they did not see you. i just started to find other places to eat my dinner. other management of the restaurant and coffee shop. it was awesome.

C&L Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The room was much nicer than I anticipated, the air conditioner made it so comfortable and the room was always clean. The entire staff were the most professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Whenever I needed anything, someone was always able to help me. Even in the restaurant, when I requested something different, they always accommodated me and then remembered the next time I was there. Every single staff member made me feel welcome and comfortable there. My only regret is that I did not have enough money to tip every staff member the way I wanted to. They all deserve to be commended for their impeccable skills as top-notch employees. They made my stay at this hotel incredible. Best hotel in the Philippines.

Wonderful Hotel with Wonderful Staff. Real value for money!”
I have stayed at this Hotel on several occasions every time I visit Dipolog I stay here and I always look forward to my next stay. the staff are genuinely friendly and Helpful. One even invited me to his wedding! the rooms are always super clean quite large and even smell great and the beds are super comfortable. I always feel like I have got great value for money each time I stay here and I have never felt the need to even look at any of the other hotels in Dipolog.

Affordable and well maintained hotel”
The hotel room (Rm 401) is actually better than the photos show. Bathroom is very clean. Room is well maintained. The hotel is either new or newly renovated. Price is neither cheap nor expensive. Set breakfast is included on the 6th floor. No airport-hotel transfers were done, although there is a hotel van parked in front. It is a PHP30 tricycle ride per person from the airport (the local law caps the maximum chargeable amount to protect visitors from overcharging) The strange thing about this hotel is related to their indoor pool. 1. It is in a big cave-like room with a karaoke area for a pool deck. (Now imagine a group of out-of-tune & drunk men leering at your girlfriend in a bikini.) 2. They force you to rent pool towels for PHP50. You can't use the room towels, and you can't use your personal towel if you had one. There is a dearth of things to do in Dipolog after 8pm, yet no one used the pool. Go figure. The hotel is worth it. As I said, it actually looks better than the pictures in Agoda show.

my wife and I got stranded in dipolog and we needed a place to stay. I remembered we stayed here once before. we went to a local internet café and booked a room. the room was super clean, the restaurant in the hotel has great food. its right across the street from lee plaza. ideal location. we will stay there anytime we need an overnight in dipolog. 10 is my score.

We have wonderful time staying at this hotel and staff is very helpful and the food is really good and the roof top is nice with the view of the city, its so convenient to any place you want to go in the city, I will also recommend this hotel to my colleagues and to my friends who plans to travel in Dipolog City and plans to stay there again if I will be back in the coming future.

Fell in love with C&L Seaview Hotel when I booked this hotel last 2015, so it was apparent that I had to book this hotel again for my 2018 trip with my friends. Will always be my top choice. Just a side comment though: inprove buffet breakfast options. I felt that Php 200 was pricey for the menu that was offered. That's about it!

Great location, ok rooms and food”
I've stayed at the Seaview 4 times over the last couple of years. Accommodations: Basic rooms with bed and bathroom, good AC and balcony. No fridge, but the friendly staff can have items refrigerated for you. They also provide some soap and shampoo. The rooms have been in nice condition with the exception on my most recent visit and it seems some upkeep needs to be done. The balconies can overlook nice views, or a wall. Try to get 5th floor room. The best view is on the roof, where you will also eat breakfast. You can see a lot of Dipolog and of course the Sea. Service: Service has been great and the staff are friendly. Other: Food is ok, nothing special. There is a pool, but I've never used it, although it seems popular. It is indoors, so it does provide a nice break from the intense Sun. Location: Great location. Across the street a little way is the city's main mall Lee Plaza as well as some restaurants. I recommend Chicken Ati-Atihan which also across the street. The wonderful boulevard is a 10 minute walk away. Overall, a cozy place to sleep in a great location, though bare on amenities and in need of updates

This hotel is such a joy to return to after a few hours in the heat, traffic and dust of Dipolog City. The AC is ice cold, there is a nice indoor pool that hardly ever has anybody in it, and the memory foam bed has four pillows to make you comfy. The WiFi is usually good enough to watch YouTube while doing several other internet things too. There is an elevator, and a free little breakfast each morning on the 6th floor open terraced restaurant. That is also a nice spot at night to enjoy a banana or mango shake and watch the lights and action of the city below. If the room had a little refrigerator in it this would be a 9/9 place. I can't imagine a better place in Dipolog, and it is maybe the best I have ever stayed at in the Philippines.

My stay in the C & L was what I expected for the price. Basic hygiene was good but not exceptional. Safety hazard. A very serious safety hazard on the 5th floor being the open escape hatch at the end of the corridor which had an illuminated sign saying EXIT while it was actually a hatchway & ladder down to the ground floor. This was open to the curiosity of any child who ventured from their parents. This, I would consider to be major lapse by the hotel and it remained so for all of my 11 days stay. Indeed, it was still that way when I left. I also consider the roof-top restaurant to be dangerousv for children with it's open fencing / barrier type of fence where a child could easily crawl through and fall to the street below. It requires close link fencing in addition to the existing barriers. I am aware that a child is the responsibility or the parents but as an hotel I would assume the management would prefer they did not have to argue fault in a court of law after the death of a child ? Simple comforts; The room was not always supplied with a cup or glass despite a kettle being present in the room. The good points are that there are always enough staff (apart from one evening) and the staff were helpful and polite.The food was good and overall the experience was reasonable.

stone throw away from the main mall of Dipolog. 5mins walk from boardwalk/beach and watch the sunset. nice view from the rooftop resto where you can have your breakfast. the bathroom kinda have a lot of hard water stains. baking soda + vinegar guys!

i stayed at C&L 5-6 times,was always happy,everything wa s ok,but now i stayed 7 nights and i ve a few complaints.first of all they changed the breakfast,before u had a choice between few dishes,now its buffet(what they call buffet)!!!!rice one kind of meat(but always filipino style,pork even not pur e pork mixed with fat),a kind of little fish but they put it in flour.there is just white rice ,noodles ,fried egg and a kind of fruit.to drink instant neascafe,milo and sugar cloloured juice.It s not properly managed at all the food!!!!!!before i always eat oatmeal,now i asked for oatmeal and said i don t want anything of the buffet,the ask me 120 peso so i brought my own oatmeal only 52 peso for a bag for 6 days.The coffe shop downstairs is also bad management, not clean and expensive 80 peso for a small capucinno.They did nt make up my room if i did nt ask for it,and even one day i asked for it they did nt clean it.But if they clean its proper hihi.internet seems to be better then before,although many time s i needed to reconnect.. They nee d to teach/train there staff at the roofdeck for breakfast much better,they seem to enjoy more talking then take care the food.

Best breakfast venue in Dipolog”
Despite the visual assault of colors, this has been my 2nd stay at C&L. My sleep has always been great because the bed was always good. The bathrooms should just be left in the subconscious. Had I need sleeping alone I would have complained of the lack of thicker covers. What kept me coming back was the rooftop breakfast, simply breathtaking when one is with someone special.

If booked through Agoda which is more than 50% off the walk in price. It has great room service, comfy bed with 4 pillows, a large bathroom, flat screen, great wifi, a very cool pool inside the hotel too. My girlfriend was not hassled in the least to come up and stay with me either.

The hotel has a free shuttle service to and from which makes it more easier to stay with them, you just have to inform them ahead of time. I had a comfortable stay (overnight) on this hotel and the room has access to wifi. Though there are no view from the room but it is located on a busy street so I don't care. The hotel is also near a small shopping center where you can buy personal stuff. The breakfast is just average but the view on the 6th floor where they serve breakfast is superb.
