Wonderful Hotel with people who really care”

We could not have wished for a more perfect stay in the Lake District, a very easy find in a perfect location, just a minutes walk from Windermere Town and 20 mins stroll from Bowness. It was raining when we arrived and we were met with Unbrella's in the car park, help with our bags, Tea & Coffee, Biscuits and a full overview of the surrounding area, great places to eat (Fantastic recommendations) and this was followed by 3 nights stay of what I can describe as the best experience I have ever had from a Hotel stay and I have stayed in probably well over a hundred different hotels of different price brackets around the world. The staff are amazing and put so much care into everything they do for you, never have I felt so at home in a hotel before. The place was so lovely and for anyone looking for that very english feel to a stay, I'm sure visitors from abroad especially this will be a highlight, it was so nice and quaint with lots of attention to detail in the house and rooms. The breakfast was incredible with so many options to chose from and they really do seem to want to make sure you are full for your day's activities, the larger portion of the full english was amazing and it all seems to be sourced locally, well it certainly tasted like it :) We will certainly be coming back to this hotel again if we are in the area. A must!!!
