Best place to stay if you need close access to NEC, it's far from cheapest option but so good! Rooms are really big, beds are comfortable. The complex or resort it is in is excellent too, loads of food options & shops too.

Great stay nothing was too much and even sorted me out with breakfast in my room as I had to leave before breakfast started as I was massaging at the Commonwealth Games. I will be back very impressed. Fabulous staff, beautiful room the bed was massive and the breakfast was amazing 7 min walk to the NEC

Fantastic stay and will definitely be back. Couldn’t fault the hotel at all. I would recommend booking breakfast though because it was fully booked and we had no breakfast.

Lovely clean and up to date hotel lovely breakfast overlooking the water. definitely book through Agoda much cheaper than booking direct even though the hotel send you offers like 30% off which is a con as it's still more expensive.

Night away”
Breakfast was not good. Had to ask twice for earl grey tea and coffee took 30 mins in total and then they brought the wrong tea so had to ask again. Ordered runny/soft poached egg and it arrived hard set and only warm. No oat milk, only soy or almond. No range of pastries left 1 hour before end of service and only apples as fresh fruit.

Staff were super helpful and resolved issues really well, lovely room & bar etc. fundamentally it’s a great hotel but it’s in an industrial estate/shopping centre so keep that in mind if that matters to you.

Lovely room , efficient staff, quite a walk to the lift so if you have any mobility problems ask for a room near it. No views from the room looking out on concrete roof but we didn’t come here to look out of the window. Great bathroom , room service good and mini bar in room , iron and hairdryer , all toiletries provide , a really good stay

Twin or not”
I booked the room in January and had confirmation that the twin beds requirement had been notes. On arrival I found that the hotel had not noticed this and we had been allocated a double bed room. We were two friends travelling so would prefer twin. After quite some time the hotel managed to accomodate the request. So a shaky start, but then everything else about our stay was great. The rooms are a good size, white company toilietries and nespresso coffee machine all add to the stay. The rooms have plenty of room for storage and surfaces to use whilst putting in makeup etc. We preferred this room to the Crowne Plaza. The drinks and tapas food in the Highline bar were excellent and we enjoyed the band in in World bar. The shops were good too we both bought a pair of Skechers. We will stay again.

Expensive but value for money”
Unlike the Hilton across the other side of the NEC Genting offers a better price and has better facilities. Rooms are good and staff are friendly. it's like a mini-Asian hotel concept with shopping center attached which includes good restaurants and cinema.
