Hotel is in a most convenient and central location and does everything well. The only negative is that on the Friday night we were there there was exceedingly loud music from some sort of diso going on till 4.00am.

Lovely and clean in a great location. Right next to bullring and train station. Lovely staff on reception and in restaurant. Comfy beds and clean bathroom. Perfect for me and my friend. Had a twin room.

It was just 'ok'”

Stayed there one night, the hotel lobby was very nice so does the bar, the receptionist during check in is quite friendly and helpful too. During my stay I request a toothbrush and toothpaste as it said on the information sheet the hotel can provide but it turn out they don't have it and the receptionist didn't resolve and no apologies was made. There wasn't impress. The bar attendant made a very good mocktail. I stayed on second floor, at night i can hear quite noisy from the club outside and the certain was not good. In the morning the certain wasn't strong enough to cover the bright outside that's wakes me up! Overall I suggest book it a bit early and it can get a good deal!

holiday inn b'ham city centre”

this is hotel is exactly what you would expect for the price - no frills, not complaints. Everything in the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, everything worked. I had to rate the food even though I didn't have any otherwise the page would not move on - that's daft!

Cannot connect to the free Wifi for 2 nights”

Stayed there for 2 nights in Dec, no surprise compared with other Holiday Inns Pros: - 5 mins walk to railway station, city center, China town and X’mas market Cons: - Cannot connect to the free Wifi. - No free car park, they offer a discount for the car part nearby.

Everything you need, and good staff.”

This hotel has good-sized rooms which are immaculate and very well equipped (room safe, hair dryer, ironing board and iron, tea and coffee making facilities, etc). The staff were excellent. check in and check out were very fast, and the staff were knowledgable about the area when we wanted advice. Location is excellent - a short walk from Bull Ring shopping, the coach station, train station, and there were always available taxis in a car park next door (to the left as you exit the hotel). Breahfast was good and comprehensive, also started at 6.30am, which suited us. Altogether a good place to stay, and I would chose this hotel again for a Birmingham city centre stay.

Very comfortable, fantastic value for money”

The hotel was centrally located, it's a 10 minute walk from the main train station. It's close to Chinatown and the Bull Ring. Staff were professional and friendly. We had a very good rate from Agoda and was the best value for money hotel we have stayed at during out 3-week honeymoon in Europe.

location was superb. it only talks 5 min on foot from the new street station or bull ring or arcadian. staff at check in the counter were generally friendly and room was clean. Breakfast was average but staff at catering were very friendly and attentive.

booked this hotel through a last minute app called "just book". the rate was competitive compared to other 4 star hotels the hotel itself is a big unwelcoming tower, it is well located in the center, the staff at the reception was inefficient as it took at least 10 minutes per guest to be checked in. way

Great location near the train station”

This hotel is very conveniently located near the new street station. It takes only 5 minutes walk to the station. When we checked in on the 27 dec 2012(due to misconnection of flight) we were told by the reception there will be no room service due to shortage of staff. The whole hotel was very quiet. When we reached the floor we stayed the whole corridor was in the dark. It is señor lighting control but is seems not sensitive so we have to search our room in the dark. The hotel staff at the reception seems to be inpatient when we asked for direction.

The location of this hotel is very great, just less than 5 minutes walking from Birmingham New Street Station, which is also very close to city centre. All staff were always happy to help. In-room facilities were fully provided. Restaurant and bar are good places to realx yourself. Not much menu selection, but food is quite good.

this is not the first time we have stayed at this hotel when visiting birmingham, the situation of the hotel near the railway station and city centre amenities makes it a firm favourite. the room was of a decent size, bathroom was spotless,the beds very comfortable

Nice hotel with great location”

Hotel is in a great location within 10 minutes walk from the train station and some of the best shopping centres in Birmingham. Surrounded by restaurants and eating places which served a wide variety of food including Chinese, Thai and Indian cuisines. If you are interested to visit the Warwick castle or the Cadbury factory, you can commute by train and these tourist attractions are just within walking distance from the Warwick and Bournville stations respectively.

Nice hotel worth the money”

Had a job finding hotel even though its only five mins from train station i think a big sign on top of the hotel would help. Probably didnt help that it was raining hard when we arrived so more difficult to see around. Had to get a taxi in the end but we got there, hotel huge, clean and rooms very nice clean and comfortable it was worth the money nice and close to everything would stay again
