Excellent location 5 min walk to New Street Station. Smallish rooms but nice lobby area with bar for meetups. Good free English breakfast with decent coffee.

Eagles concert 2019”

This was a fabulous hotel. The room was crisp, clean, with aircon ! Yay ! Needed it on a really hot day ! The beds were comfy with a choice of firm or soft pillows. Shower was easy to control but could have done with a bit more power. We were offered a room on the top floor which was great. Absolutely no disturbance at any point. The staff were all helpful and friendly, can't be faulted. After the concert we came back to the hotel and had drinks in the bar and a pizza. Thought the prices for a hotel were very reasonable. The hotel felt secure with a security guy on duty when we returned late Saturday evening, and keycards operating the lift going up. I would highly recommend this hotel for its central location, comfortable rooms and friendly staff.

Reasonable budget hotel but could improve”

Cons 1. Since hot milk is not served as part of breakfast buffet in this hotel, I requested for the staff to warm up a cup of milk in the microwave...to have with my cereals and tea...my request was denied on both days on grounds of hotel's Health and Safety Policy!!! which was surprising since a Holiday Inn property in London very readily accepted my same request next day..Most Asian and Arab people want hot milk at breakfast.....but this particular hotel doesn't seem to want to consider this small request.. 2. Breakfast buffet does not have much variety and same items are repeated daily.. Pros 1...rooms and bathroom are clean... 2..rates are reasonable

Quick Weekend Stay”

The Hotel still feels new and crisp, the rooms are excellent with clean, crisp linen, neat furnishings and a decent sized shower. The ONLY drawback of this compact hotel was that they don't do early book-ins, even after I mentioned that my flight would land 7:10am and that I would want to book in at 7:45am, they merely mentioned that they could only accommodate me at 15:00! Luckily a room went open two hours and the receptionist could assist me. Other than that the stay was pleasant, affordable and quaint.

Wir waren mit 4 Personen und hatten 2 Doppelzimmer mit Doppelbett. Als Nachteil empfanden wir lediglich, dass das Box Spring Doppelbett nur eine große Bettdecke hatte, womit nicht jeder gut zurechtkommt. Wir haben deshalb an der Rezeption eine 2 Decke angefragt und auch gleich gebracht bekommen. Das Personal empfanden wir als sehr freundlich und das Frühstück war gut und ausreichend. Ein sehr gutes 2 Sterne Hotel - besser als manche 3 Sterne Läden in denen wir zuvor schon waren. Die Lage ist sehr gut für Bahnfahrer. Die Bahnhöfe New Street und Moor Street sind vom Hotel aus schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen. Am in der Nähe befindlichen Kanal (The Mailbox) stehen viele verschiedene Restaurants zu Verfügung.
