Arriving after a 6 hour journey the receptionist was insistent that I had not prepaid via Agoda. I therefore paid again for 2 nights twin room. During the evening meal on site I checked my bank account and it was clear I had paid in full, two days prior to arrival. Upon going back to reception they explained they had never heard of Agoda before!!! Poor customer service and lack of apology for this overcharging. Money was refunded but would take up to 3 days to process. Disappointing evening meal. All 3 guests had their meals served at 15 minute intervals. Only 1 of the starters listed on menu was available. Only one other guest eating in restaurant so not busy. Shocking quality and very expensive £45 for reheated food. Also shared the restaurant with a pestokill mouse trap! Finally, if you are expecting the usual Holiday Inn quality breakfast please note this is a grab bag during Covid 19 guidelines. This should be made clear on the website when booking. You choose food off the breakfast bar pop it in a paper bag and eat in your room. As a loyal Holiday Inn customer and having raised my concerns with hotel staff about the overcharging process a very disappointing stay.

Perfectly good for a value hotel”

This is a no frills hotel, clean rooms, comfortable beds, good showers, decent breakfast etc. You get what you expect. The only issue we had was that the TV needed to be retuned each time we switched it on. The staff seemed to be well aware of this being a common problem in the hotel, but made no offer to change our TV or room.

We stayed on a Saturday night, when we arrived back to the hotel the bar was still open but the service was slow due to the fact there was only one person serving drinks and taking orders for food. We stood in a queue for service for a good half hour. On requesting a Pizza order we were told they had run out but after about 15 minutes we were then told that was a mistake and we could order one but it would take about 25 minutes before it would be ready. At that point we decided it would be too late to eat. Perhaps on busy weekends they should have more staff available. Other than that issue the hotel rooms were good and the breakfast was good.

Not well maintained”

I went to my room and found that the window was broken. A girl from reception came to attempt to fix it and when it was not fixable she had a really BAD attitude when I asked to be moved.

Lovely rooms we had a double with sofa bed kettle and tea/coffee and good breakfast. clean hotel and friendly staff gave us extra towels and pillows daily and we will be coming back again

Very professionally run hotel. Excellent breakfast included. Only comment is that a complete lack of signs makes finding the way in to the hotel almost impossible.

The room was clean, we could make a drink and there was an ironing board and hairdryer. The staff were pleasant and the breakfast was sufficient. Our room was on the first floor and was a bit noisy with people opening and shutting doors. Overall, it was convenient for us and good for business people.

Value for money hotel and good for driving around!”

The hotel is very good in service, with good breakfast and large room. Fast check in and out. However it is a bit far from city centre, it is not so convenient for customer with no driving.

Brief and a little bit stressful”

My stay was alright. This location is not in the city center so it might be challenging to find transportation around. Cabs can be easily hired through the reception though. They don't have a restaurant and only serve breakfast, can't have lunch or dinner in the hotel which is kinda awful for a hotel that situated in a remote kind of area. You have to cross half a mile up the road to find food. Their staff is friendly but I lacking in experience. I got doublecharged for my hotel booking. I booked via Agoda and informed the reception that I have an Agoda booking. They told me they are on pay on arrival basis. I thought this was an arrangement with Agoda only to find out I got charged twice in my credit card. I called the hotel after finding this out and they said they have no record of my payment to them, only the Agoda booking. I presented them with the receipt they gave me plus the credit card statment showing that my account was debited twice. After this they returned the amount which I have yet to check if it was successfully credited back to my account, else, I have to call them again. Hassle. The room heater also has a mind of it's own. Had to turn it off or else I'll end up baked. Nice clean sheets, soft bed and pillows and nice bathroom too.

we were visiting Bristol for a family wedding and this was a perfect location for us. We have stayed in Holiday Inn Express hotels so knew what we would get and we were not disappointed. The price for 2 rooms (there were 4 of us) was excellent value. We will certainly these hotels in the future and this one if we visit Bristol.

Good spread of food available for breakfast buffet, bread rolls were good. Quiet area with Sainsbury right opposite the hotel. overall a comfortable stay.

A great stay. Good location, close to public transport and motorways. Room was a good size and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good with a good range of food. Would recommend this hotel.
