    A large Edwardian four-star guest house situated in the Derwent valley with uninterrupted views towards Skiddaw. Six guest rooms all with an en-suite shower, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, flat screen TV - with DVD player - and access to free WiFi. Ironing facilities area available on request. Large private car park to the rear of the house and fully enclosed garden. There are four pubs/hotels all within walking distance in the village, all serving good food and local ales.

    Es un verdadero B&amp;B. Es atendido por sus propios dueños con mucha dedicación . El desayuno fue muy bueno y todo funcionaba correctamente

    Excellent breakfast plenty of choices including for vegetarians, a welcoming arrival from Kate who was a great source of information at all times, would definitely recommend

    This was a charming house for our family&#39;s first visit to the Lake District. The bedrooms were lovely and felt luxurious. The bathrooms seemed new and sparkling clean. The breakfast was ...
    Our only suggestion was to add a hot water pot to the dining room, so that guests could make a cup of tea with the baked goods she put out in the afternoon.

    Kate was lovely, very helpful, great brekkie, very clean. Good recommendation for dinner, the Coledale Inn, went both nights, really enjoyed our stay.

    Kate was very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. She make a lovely breakfast and the variety of options for breakfast was really good.
