Good only because of lifts were out of order . BUT as an older couple we were placed on the 1st floor and luggage carried to our room . So maybeee a little unkind . Thank you

Notable”
We stayed in a privilege queen room with a view of the river which was lovely. Great to be able to open the sliding window to let some fresh air in (albeit only a few inches due to safety catch) The staff were pleasant and helpful. As we stayed for 2 nights our room key got reset so that was a minor inconvenience to go back to reception to have it reprogrammed. The room was fine and clean. Needed to ask for extra pillows as the ones provided were misshapen and past their best. Plenty of refreshments and espresso pods and a handy fridge to store a bottle of milk. Bathroom was a little rough round the edges, fluff in the corners where it hadn’t been cleaned properly. No flannels to wash with but plenty of toiletries (including a toothbrush kit should you forget yours). A lot of plastic waste though, would be good to see refillable dispensers instead. Parked on Queen Charlotte Street NCP which worked out as £39 for 48hrs. Lots of restaurants and bars near the hotel.

Could not access car park NCP whilst trying to find alternative parking received a ticket , staff vague bar overpriced apart from that nice stay

Weekend meeting up with family”
A nice location and reasonably priced. however there was no plug for the bath that I didn't notice until the morning when i was about to run it. there were also water marks around the surface of the wash basin and the bathroom floor. i would guess the bathroom clean wasn't 'completed' before our arrival. Breakfast was excellent value for a tenner!

The hotel is situated in a great location for central Bristol, easy walking to all the attractions, Cabot Circus etc, would recommend this hotel for a great weekend break.

The area is really convenient and it’s pleansant to be out of the main centre but still very convenient. Lots of amenities on the doorstep.

Stayed for one night. Excellent location. The Bar Restaurant is very nice - seats facing the river are great for watching the world go by - river craft, people and swans!!

Friendly staff, great location, good breakfast, nice room. Unfortunately the beds were really small. I'm 1.85 and my feet were dangling out.........

The location is great and the staff were all lovely and very friendly. The rooms are well-equipped and a good size. Only downside was that when I went to have a shower in the morning that I was leaving (very early, after a quick one-night stay), I discovered that one of the two towels provided had dirt on it. Thankfully I had another and everything else was clean.

Second Time”
This is our second time here at this hotel. We use it as a base for taking in shows; its easy walking distance to The Hippodrome and Colston Hall. Its within walking distance of Broadmead Shopping too! Stylish and clean!

Clean room”
Location of the hotel is good being located in between the train station and the other attractions in Bristol. The room is clean and big with good shower facilities

Cozy room”
A little bit old facilities...But it is located by city centre. And when you see a river in the room, you can feel comfortable. What a cozy room it is.

Disappointing ”
Everything about this place was disappointing, except for its location and staff. The rooms were extremely noisy , from people walking talking in corridor as well as the outside. The fact that university halls and bars are situated right next to it makes it worse late at night during the weekend The hotel facilities were also disappointing : soap felt like cheap detergent, TV was 15y.o, mattress felt like a cheap hostel bed from bunk bed ( but kind sized!), mini bar in the bedroom was empty, bedside lights were not functioning , and the list goes on ... This is not the standards one can expect from any Mercure on the continent ....
