A fine stay!”

Carpets & shower a bit dirty but bed was comfy, good facilities in room (tea & coffee, TV, wardrobe etc) nice reception staff. Parking was safe outside but an extra £15. Worth it with the cheap stay. Good food & drink around the hotel, would stay again for one or two nights.

Excepcional”

I stayed here for 18 days. The manager and staff were very helpful as it was my first visit to the UK. The room was nice and tidy. The location is great as it is very near to the city center also the iconic cilfton suspension bridge. Overall fair pricing and amazing service.

Clean and comfy”

A cosy and nicely located hotel for those travelling around! Stones throw walk to the clifton bridge 🌉 The staff are tip top! I shall be certainly staying here again when in Bristol x

Regret booking”

To far from city To hot i attick rooms. No ventilation very small windows. No any soap in bathroom and dirty. Bathroom shared with 3-4 rooms. No breakfast included. Stuff confused when check in. Noise at night from pub open late . Tiny paper walls , you can hear all other guests

Suficient”

Dated decor. Needs an update. Shower in bathroom very poor- flow not great and water didn't stay at ambient temperature. Very noisy. Could hear occupants of adjoining rooms. Also hotel situated on busy road so lots of road noise.

Notable”

Only issue is the fact we were on the top floor, along way up the stairs with my rickety knees! The shower was also awkward to use because of the sloping roof, but at least it worked well.

The real life faulty towers ”

The check in process was so ridiculous, we were not able to even check in 15 minutes early even thou we explained we had just flown in from Australia. The staff were generally obstructive and quite rude at the same time. The room was reasonable although very small and my boyfriend couldn’t stand up in the shower. Wouldn’t stay again to be honest!!

No hot water in my bathroom. No plug in basin. Radiator in bedroom needed bleeding. Insufficient drinks in bedroom. No one to attend to problems. No review card. No one asked my opinion on checking out.

It was cool but probably not a 4 star hotel”

The guy was polite upon arrival but I thought I had booked a double, and he said I'd booked a twin. He said they didn't have any king rooms available - and then when I said I was happy to pay more - suddenly there was one available so I was a bit confused about that. To be honest, the hotel is in an ace location but it is a bit run down. A half shower over a bath isn't ideal nowadays when it's so cheap to install a proper shower but they were pretty nice and it was good value for a late booking.

Acceptable”

No lift. Had to walk up 5 flights of stairs. Shower was very low on pressure. A very nosy bar was just across the street. Thank goodness I had earplugs with me. The room was small but fine for one person.

Good value for money great location”

Ĺocation was ideal close to my workplace. Room was adequate size very clean. Staff were so friendly and polite.

Perfect base to meet up with old friends”

Stayed here on a saturday night in order to meet old friends for drink and catch up in Clifton. Friendly staff and perfectly adequate room for a short stay. Good location and overall very satisfied with my stay.

Misleading people!!!”

We were given a room on the fourth floor and as there is no elevator my son had to drag all the bags upstairs. The room 440 was tiny and the ceiling was like a loft so even in the shower we had to bend in two and it was very cramped up and uncomfortable not like anything in the picture on the Internet!!!!

Great location, nice hotel but parking difficulty”

The hotel is lovely, very central in the city center yet in a side street which is relatively calm. Good to explore the area. Beware if you arrive by car, though. We came there at 13:00h, so one hour before check-in time. In front of the hotel are 3 parking spaces, plus 2 right next to it in front of the associated pub. Out of these total 5 space, 4 were empty. So we wanted to leave the car there and tell the reception that we are due to check in later after walking to the city. NOT POSSIBLE! We could not park our car in spite of available spaces, we had to wait one hour until check-in time! So we had to drive throught the side streets in order to find a free space, pay for it and come back later to use the hotel's car park which was the reason to chose the hotel after all! Ridiculous! The icing on the cake: the single car which was parked there belonged to the staff lady at the reception! We have never experienced such unflexible customer service. What would be the big deal? You could argue that one space should stay free for customers who were checking out and loading their car (why would they not have it parked there in the first place? but anyway...). But 4 spaces left empty?! This was pure burocrazy (pun intended). The otherwise nice experience in the hotel was strongly tainted by this. We will not come again.
