Good Budget Hotel”

Just stayed for the evening at Cadeby lodge, was surprised to see an ensuite as webiste advertises shared bathroom for the room we booked, The entrance hall is very cluttered, a lot of plugs and wires gatherd at sockets, and way too many little cctv cameras, like i was suprised to see one sat about a foot away from me whilst i was looking at the leaflets in the hall. Pillows were terrible though, like i have never slept on a pillow that had no fluff, or bounce to it :/. The hotel charge a £10 deposit for keys and tv remote, it is refundable on yoru checkout but it doesnt advertise so for those who travel with no cash just a heads up, no tea and coffee in the rooms again this is all held in canisters in the hall so you would have to take your cup down with you to get what you need. I will be trying somewere else next time but all in all not bad for £23 :)

Good cosy stop over”

Pros - Location is great, only a 5-10 min walk into town. Cosy bed. We stayed in a twin bed room. It was small but served its purpose. Good cheap price for a quick stop over. Clean and staff manager helpful on the day to arrange car parking. Cons - No replies by email. Very hard to contact by phone. I tried all week to call to arrange car parking. Didn’t call me back to confirm car parking for the night like she said. I had to park at the sister hotel but this was only across the road so ok in the end. Some idiot set the hotel fire alarm off at 3am and staff took about half an hour to turn it off, going door to door to find the triggered alarm. I opened the door to find the hotel manager and all guests on a witch hunt staring at me. It wasn’t my fault. I don’t smoke. Also room decor, furniture etc is very dated. Could do with updating this. Overall I can’t complain for the price. Cosy enough. No breakfast option though and not sure what other hotels in area are like.

By far the worst place I have ever been ”

From arrival the owner was very rude and arrogant towards me in front of the children. The owner had only made one booking when there was two and kicked off about this although I had already paid for 2 rooms. The rooms was absolutely disgusting with cracks in the toilet, collected dust everywhere, holes in the walls, very outdated! The owner then kicked us out of the hotel early due to me telling her that there was a leak in the bathroom. The owner was refusing my money back for the night we did not stay and continued to shout in my face, I had 2 children with me when she kicked us out and both was in tears due to how rude and arrogant she was being. This resulted in me contacting the police to sort the matter out as she refused to listen to anything I had to say. By far the WORST place I have ever stayed and because of this I will never be going to Blackpool again!

Good for a night”

This place is fine if all you need is a bed for the night. I took my son and it was good that the hotel was s so close to the beach. But that's about it. My son and I arrived and were told that we would be staying across the way. Ok that's fine, but breakfast would be in a third location. So during the night the curtains fell down and the bathroom light blew. The telly didn't work and we decided to avoid the shower. My 11 year old asked me why they didn't just sell 2 cruddy properties and do the third one up properly. I had to agree. If all you need is a cheap bed for the night then as long as you don't care about looks it's fine. I have stayed in worse.

Arrived to be told they'd overbooked!! However to be told we have booked you into another hotel..!”

Arrived at Cadesby Lodge, which we booked over 3 weeks ago. Lady told us we have overbooked, you can't stay here, we have booked you in another place..3 mins walk. We were parked outside Cadesby Lodge, lady said you can't park here, you will have to park in car park up the road. It's cheap. Went to park up the road as she suggested, car park cost 13 pounds for 48 hours. We then walked with bags to the next hotel. The hotel was called Nathan's. Straight down the road, but took 15 mins to walk as my partner has bad knees, in the pouring rain... Checked in at Nathan's to be given a room, with no heating in, the guy who checked us in took us to the room. My partner asked if there were tea and coffee available, the guy said yes, he will leave some downstairs, and we could pick up. We asked about heating as the room was freezing. Shower was not working and we had no heat all weekend. Couldn't get any accomodation anywhere else as all accomodations were full. Unfortunately can't leave 0star

Friendly staff and great location but not a wonderful visit”

Firstly, the hospitality was excellent, friendly and keen to keep her guests happy. The location is great, it's just a short walk to the pleasure beach and restaurants etc. However, the place needs some TLC. The decor is generally dated. The room itself was clean, but also very dated and in need of modernisation, the decor was ancient and the furniture was serviceable, but did not match; the room was not very large either, which meant that the double bed was pushed up against a wall - awkward for getting up in the night. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room, but the kettle is the standard size and difficult to get under the bathroom tap; these little details could be addressed easily. Breakfast at 9am in the bar (shut in the evening we visited) but expect meager portions. Lovely food, cooked to request (crispy bacon, runny etc) but limited. For the money, smashing, helpful host and decent food but work to do. £5 parking for 24hrs Keep trying, you'll get there!

The owner was welcoming and friendly. We had the deluxe double with en suite. Quite a small room but for £15pppn plus breakfast it was great value. Room has TV with free view channels. Tea and coffee making facilities and bathroom with sink, wc and shower cubicle. Being April it was a little chilly in the room but there was a heater provided should we wish to use it.
