It was the best place we stayed in Vietnam and probably one of the best places we stayed over all our trips. We read some very good reviews of this homestay before we booked, but still the host managed to exceed our expectations. Bungalows themselves are very interesting and comfortable (maybe expect of the shower ;) ), but the wonderful staff overthere is making this place special. The food is also great. I recommend to book with dinner which was fantastic. I also recommend to arrange tours organized by this homestay. They really help to see some real local life. I strongly recommend this place.

I had an exceptional visit at Boutique Lodge Can Tho Homestay. The site, alongside a small river in the Mekong delta, is exemplary : simple, picturesque, envelopping. The facilities are in the best homestay traditions - clean, recent and comfortable. Tuan, the host, does everything in his power to help his guests have a delightful experience. We all enjoyed, at times, the pleasant company and easy exchange of fellow travellers, all of us seeking various forms of authenticity in our travel discoveries. Families, couples, soloists - we all found a few days of pleasure, sometimes shared, in this sincere place. I believe the market experiences and meals will remain unforgettable.

Especially like to stay here. This is my third time at this hotel. I choose this hotel as I stay for longer periods in Can Tho. Fairly new room with all the basics. Always sleep well here. I have my own transport so the ride to town doesn't bother me. The staff don't speak much English but can be quite helpful. This hotel is my favorite un the Mekong Delta. Value plus.

We stayed at Minh Viet for a couple of nights to explore the Mekong Delta area of Can Tho. We chose a homestay that is pretty much in the middle of nowhere in purpose. We did the Floating Markets Tour with the homestay: we started at 4am and enjoyed the quite and peaceful rivercruise in a small boat it was only the two of us, the guy from the homestay and the lady driving the boat. The floating market in Cai Rang was still closed and it's interesting to see the difference when you get back there later and everybody is busy and heaps of boats full of Tourists. We went to a small floating market first and had breakfast then we went back to Cai Rang had Pineapple on the floating market there and then went to see a "rice paper factory" which is not a factory anymore but only to show tourists how rice noddles are being produced. One could skip that. It was 50$ that incl. everything on the tour we didn't buy anything extra. Recommended: take a bicycle and explore the area. It's worth it!

Me and my girlfriend booked this place for our can tho trip. When we arrived and showed them booking, they refused us. The guy was angry and just kept saying "no" even though we had already paid for the booking. This was very rude and a bad start to our trip, we had to find new place instead. Very disappointed. We already paid!! Ripoff!! We were 100% sober and polite too, nothing wrong Don't waste your money and book this one, you will be disappointed.

The name "homestay" is a little misleading, this is actually more like a resort villa a row of bungalows with a nicely landscaped garden and pond with outdoor banquet seating and a stage, it seems like a good place for holding events, weddings, etc. That being said, this place is brand new and some parts are still under construction, the bungalow was clean and comfortable with a bathroom with hot shower inside the room. But the wifi is unusable inside the room because of a weak signal, the restaurant closes early at 7, and reception desk was empty after that, and there was a rat inside my trash can at night. The location is in a rural area outside can tho (Taxi ride from bus station 100,000 d), you can walk around outside and see a market, school, fruit stands, fields, and normal houses. This area doesn't have many foreign visitors and you will get a lot of stares. I think it is a good place for travellers who feel comfortable with staying in an isolated area of the countryside.
