Special, far away”
Maasin is far away from almost everything, and that's why I went there. I wanted a safe place without a lot of tourists in order to think about life. Caimito Beach Hotel was a special place to do that. The views of the ocean from the room, restaurant and pool are stunning. You can't swim in the beach, but watching the tide rise and fall is a magical experience. If you're going to Maasin then this is probably the best place to stay in the area.

Lovely hotel, new and fresh.”
My girlfriend and I stayed one night on our way around Southern Leyte and could not recommend this hotel enough. Only a couple of months old, the hotel is well designed and the staff were wonderful. Although we were surprised how long the room service took, we were informed that all meals were made to order and that was certainly the case. The food was fresh with enough choices to keep us happy. We only stayed one night to visit the MonteCueva and Mother Mary shrine, but would definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying here next visit to Maasin.

A relaxing break in a pleasant environment ”
This hotel is newly built and recently opened in 2013. All the rooms are clean, spacious and very modern and there is a small pool on site as well as a jacuzzi and childrens pool. The landscaped gardens are very nice and the restaurant is built projecting out over the beach. We enjoyed our stay here and can highly recommend this hotel for accommodation near Maasin in southern Leyte.

Exceptional”
Without a doubt the best hotel in Maasin. Owner managed by Pascal who lives next door with his wife and little daughter. I stayed there with my girlfriend who then became my wife while we were there. The rooms are nice and the beds super comfortable. It has a nice pool and a sweet little garden. The food is really nice. If you're a Chilli fan ask for the Chilli con Carne, it's so good and Pascal grows the chillis himself.

I was very impressed with the friendly staff. They were accommodating and helpful. I would stay agai”
I got to meet the Owner, Pascal, he was very friendly, joyful, and went out of his way to make you feel at home. Very pleasant fellow! I would recommend Caimito Beach Hotel to anyone who would want to spend a quiet, relaxing visit in the area. The beautiful ocean view setting is what enhances the ambience of the hotel. I would stay here again. The food is good too.

A quiet oasis away from the city”
Caimito Beach Hotel was an exceptional surprise for us. Not just value for the money, but the cleanliness of the facilities and staff service were amazing for this off the beaten path hotel. Great food served in the restaurant or in your room. This secret "couples get away" won't be kept secret for long.

Yummy breakfast!”
The hotel is located by the highway and about 6km far from the city of Maasin. I never expected a lot though it's a bit pricey for me as Filipina but when I check in I was amazed! The room is so clean with mini bar inside, free bottles of water, coffee and tea and free wifi. Perfect view pool and ocean at the balcony. The bed is comfortable, toilet room has bath tub, hot shower. Free breakfast and I like it, so delicious! Nicee staff too, friendly

Can't recommend Caimito enough”
For sure the best place to stay in Maasin. It's about 10 minutes outside the city by tricycle but it's so worth it. Lovely rooms, great breakfast and awesome WiFi.

Excellent”
PROS Resort and Room: The resort is clean and lovely. Our room has a very good view of the pool and the beach. There are mangroves by the shore. The pool has a really good though you can see that pool floor paint is kind of fading. Bathroom: Our bathroom has a bathtub too! Staff and services: We had lovely breakfast by the beach and the services are quite fast. The staff are very accommodating and were able to give us instructions when we inquired about how to go to certain places. Mr. Pascal, the owner, is also accommodating and friendly. He always makes sure that the guests are comfortable and their stay are hassle-free. He even personally drove us to the terminal on our last day since we needed to move to another town to explore. CONS Bathroom: We were not able to enjoy much of the hot/cold shower since the water supply was quite weak. Suggestion: To include free toiletries (such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrush and paste) like other hotels. That would be nice.

Pool with a view”
Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The pool and restaurant area are excellent and are a major plus point of the hotel. Stayed in a detached cottage. It was very spacious, room in very good condition and I would stay there again. My only negative is the transport charges offered by the hotel. On leaving I wanted to head to Padre Burgos with family and bags and was quoted 900 peso for a short 30 min trip but found an alternative for 600. I feel that the hotel should offer transport charges on a par with going rates not squeeze as much as possible out of the guest. Otherwise, lovely hotel.

Very good”
Place is ok. No beach but sea goes out with lots of rock pools to explore .sone plastic trash as always in water despite hotel website saying it has a pristine beach. . Don’t get assigned room 101. Staff sit outside this room chatting and playing video games , and kitchen cleaning area also next to this room. Staff generally pleasant and smiling. At p2500 it’s a bit overpriced for what it is but there’s not a lot of choice in the area. The place seems to have a steady good business so my comments won’t change that.

Hotel review”
We were the only people at the hotel. The staff were very nice and trying to do a good job. The pool was not ready for use when we were there, ( not good). The location is next to a road and somewhat loud. The hotel and property are kept up well and a security was good. A good valve for the low price.

Highly recommended!”
Family owned and operated. Courteous and very accommodating staff. Breakfast choices are excellent quality and quantity-wise. Although no sandy shore, the place is by the beach with swimming pool overlooking the ocean. The place is well maintained by the owner, an Irish handyman. who with his wife and staff are very accommodating. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Awesome view, amiable host, beautiful place, accommodating service staff, delicious food, welcoming!”
The owner-manager welcomed us himself & was so accommodating to our every need- kindness personified. Service staff were efficient, rooms & bathroom are spaceous & clean. Food servings caters to one's taste. Place beautifully landscaped. Infinity pool and kiddy pools very clean. Beachfront property and the sea beaconed and I swam while contemplating the beautiful view of the ocean and the mountain silhouettes afar playing with the clouds insterspersed with intermittent lightning and thunderstorm, makes me relieve the beautiful life- stress free, time arrested, a little heaven on earth! While the night was slowly creeping in, my friend and I had a bottle of beer while contemplating our travels and school days with good laughs! Very near the town proper where the cathedral and shrine are; a fish sanctuary, a cave, a biscuit and other food to go and bring as gifts to friends and family waiting at home. Will bring my immediate family here next summer. Will recommend to my friends and kins.
