Very clean good value no lift to upper floors no air conditioning except for opening the windows which was sufficient due the windy environment good wheel chair access to ground floor only. Would recommend and would have no problem returning. Ps good selection of breakfast.

Bespoke hotel”
Just means it’s a bit dated but this is a great hotel. Reception staff were lovely and very helpful. Relaxed atmosphere. Rooms basic but clean. We had a great sleep. Beds very comfy Would definitely recommend to friends. It’s not fancy but perfect for our needs. Breakfast was superb, cereal cooked breakfast etc. All covid precautions in place. Good one night stay ”
After reading some of the recent poor reviews we were expecting a less than pleasant stay. However we are pleased to say our stay was pretty positive . Room was clean & comfortable. Drinks were reasonably priced. Breakfast was plentiful. Shower was a bit broken but still worked ok - I reported this on checking out. Could do with signage in the car park to direct people to the side entrance to the hotel in the car park. Quite a few guests including us carried our luggage all the way through the car park to the front entrance on the street! Other than that our stay was perfect. Thank you Caledonian 😀.

Good value hotel in Ullapool”
I stayed in a single room with en suite bathroom. Excellent value for money and a friendly and helpful staff. Scottish breakfast or other vegan options. Hotel in the very centre of Ullapool. Staff fully aware of Covid regulations which made my stay feel very safe.

Although the hotel is a work in progress our room was newly modernised and very clean with good facilities. Breakfast was satisfying and plentiful. Staff very friendly and obliging. Fantastic location and good value for money

A blast from the past”
The decor in my room and throughout the hotel generally were like stepping back in time to the early 1980's, but everything is clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly and efficient. Excellent breakfast.

Pleasant stay, friendly staff, great with dogs. We were particularly pleased to be able to include the dogs at breakfast, by eating just outside the breakfast -room.£10 extra per room for dogs is probably fair.

As per other reviews, yes hotel could do with an upgrade, but in current situation can understand its not realistic. Room was clean, food was excellent and staff were great. For price spent, what more could you ask for? Would highly recommend.

Comfortable and very handy for Ferry”
Reasonable night stay, comfortable and clean. Location picked as we were catching ferry as foot passengers, less than 5 mins walk away.. Oldish hotel and Squeeky floors was my only gripe, but breakfast good, and comfortable, clean and good.

Pleasant surprise”
Our room was freshly decorated, the staff were all friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great too. Lashings of hot water and a comfy bed. Car park was rammed but we got in. All in all it was just the job and exceeded our expectations

Cheaper than the hostel in village”
I was looking for a cheap option as I was passing through for ferry..it was much better than the negative reviews on Google. My room was very small but I was alone. My guess is it was a twin room made smaller by addition of ensuite as the sink was separate from the WC/shower. Everything worked in room. Yes old fittings but so what. Breakfast was very good. Staff seemed motivated and happy. Atmosphere in lounge was good. Its obvious the chain which own the hotel put profit before anything, its a busy place they should do a refit of the bedrooms.

Good clean hotel, but think it needs an upgrade. There isn't a resturant which is a shame, just breakfast. And I'm sorry, coffee and tea in the room, but no biscuits! That was a shame to me.
