Actually we stayed 3 nights in this hotel but extended then for 2 more nights because it was one of the best hotels we had in Vietnam. We arrived during Tet holiday with the night bus at 5am in the morning. Usually you can check in at 3 pm in the afternoon but they were so kind and gave us a room this early. The room was quite spacious, clean and very modern.The bed was really big and super soft. The bath was bright, had shower as well as a bathtub. We had a nice balcony with a lovely view to a small river and a palm garden. The furniture was brand new and everything was very comfortable. The hotel is well maintained and has a beautiful pool where you could spent the whole day with a cocktail or fresh juices. The staff was incredible nice. We are spending a lot of time in hotels all over the world and not even in the most five star hotels you get treated like this. They even remembered our names and tried to make our stay superb. The hotel is a little bit outside hoi an but that makes it even better because it is really calm and relaxing. They offer 3 times a day a free shuttle to hoi an or you can borrow a bike for free it's just a 15 min ride away. Breakfast was a really good and there was everything you need to have a good start in the day. The only negative thing is the food is a little bit expensive for what you get. I would recommend to make the portions bigger (especially for the pool restaurant) so that the price is justified. If we could have stayed longer we would have. But unfortunately the hotel was fully booked and we had to get our flight in Hanoi. It was a pleasure to stay there and we can definitely recommend this beautiful hotel with its great staff. Thank you again that we had such a great time.

Me and my partner have been travelling 2 months around south east Asia and Senvila Boutique Resort has been the best place we've stayed at by far! We are motor biking Vietnam and upon arrival we were warmly greeted by staff helping us unstrap ours bags, carried in and sat at the lounge with a cold refreshing juice. We were shown to our very comfortable, clean room. The room was very light and airy, and the bed extremely comfortable. My partner did his open water Padi for 4 days while I relaxed in the room and on the belcony. The hotel buildings are surrounded by the pool and palm trees - all the staff were always friendly and the grounds were very relaxing! We were ALWAYS greeted personally by our names whenever we left and when we came back, and our motorbike was taken care of very well, we never had to park it, they did it for us. The food here is incredible! We ate breakfast here every morning and dinner room service one night and it was amazing! We are both big foodies and were very impressed and satisfied. We didn't want to leave! As we did, Lee the front desk manager who always gave us personal friendly interest in our days and how our room was, stood over our bike with an umbrella as we strapped on our luggage in the hot sun. And the staff gave us a cold refreshing leaving juice which was perfect. The only problem we had, was the bathroom in our room gave a bad drain smell at night and if you didn't have the bathroom door closed it leaked out. One night it did wake me up but upon telling them this after they asked how we both slept, they were sorry to hear this and offered every solution as well as changing rooms straight away at our convenience. But I decided to stay and just use scented oils and it was fine! The resort is a 5-10min ride into Hoi An town and they offer free shuttle car which I used a couple of days and was very pleasant. Really nice not to be right in town, get away from the hectic tourist part! Can't rate this place enough! Very sad to

An Villa is such a hidden gem that I feel a bit reluctant to share about it, but the stay was SO pleasant that I would feel bad if I don’t write a review. The place is nestled inside a well-tended lush green tropical garden - it’s much more beautiful than shown in the pictures. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and fresh. We had the most peaceful and enjoyable time at An Villa and will come back in future.

Mr Bao and the others at Palm View Villa provide a really exceptional experience. I saw the positive reviews before booking but my high expectations were still exceeded! The rooms are luxurious and the team is very responsive and speak great English. We had a leak with our air conditioning and the team fixed it quickly and provided a delicious free dinner. The location is very close to Hoi An but still very quiet and relaxing which is just what we wanted. My favourite parts were the lovely pool, the amazing rainfall shower and bath, the huge comfortable beds and the chickens that roam around while you have breakfast. Can highly recommend Palm View Villa if you're staying in Hoi An.

We stayed in the Village Lodge for two nights. We were traveling with a friend through Vietnam and this hotel was perfect for us. The people were really nice and helpful. They upgraded our room to an amazing room with view to the pool. The place seem to be really new, everything is very clean. We spent the afternoon in the amazing pool they have, enjoying the sun and the tranquility of the place. The breakfast was really nice, with lots of food including natural juices, fruits, pancakes and Vietnamese options too. Also we did some laundry which was very convenient for us and the price was really cheap. I would really recommend this place to anyone I know.

Despite not having reviews on agoda, we decided to give this hotel a chance because the pictures looked beautiful. We had some significant difficulty finding the hotel as the address is non specific, we were even considering giving up and booking another hotel within the city itself. Good thing we did not! Located about 3km from town centre, 50 mins walk, 10 mins drive, it was better than expected. Apartment was beautifully decorated and rooms and toilets were perfect, only hot water runs out after a longer shower. Pool was cute, free bicycles provided for residents, breakfast cooked and delivered to rooms. Would stay here again if back in hoi an.

Had a very nice 4 day stay at Palmy Villa's. There are many things to like. Location is good, not in the old town, but close enough to use a bicycle or a motorbike. Same goes for the beach. Hoi An is getting more and more crowded, so it's nice to stay at a place that is sort of half way between the beach and Hoi An town. I still like Hoi an by the way. Palmy Villa is a good base. The pool has a very good size and is well kept, garden is beautiful with flowers, the rooms are big with a big bathroom, a big balcony, soft bed and a tv with a bunch of western channels (HBO, Fox etc). Breakfast is adequate and staff is very friendly. This quality for price I could come back here. There is only one thing I did not like. Most of the rooms have a front door with a sort of shaded glass. That means that there is a lot of light coming in the room, and also means that the room is very illuminated in the early morning. I like the room to be dark if possible, so this woke me up too early every day.

We just left Green Boutique Villa and the lovely Moon after 4 wonderful nights and days in this amazing little hotel. The pictures on booking.com or agoda are all real, it's a wonderful property with a nice pool and garden with sun loungers and umbrellas. We had a room in the villa with garden view, but it had also pool view, so the room names on the booking sites are a bit confusing. The rooms are spacious, clean, modern and very new as the hotel has opened only 2 or 3 months ago. The hotel is a 20 minutes bicycle ride away from the old city and the bikes are free. Make sure, that you know the location, the taxi drivers will not, but they call the hotel if necessary. Once in the right area, there are signs directing to the hotel. At our first evening we ate at the hotel and the food was great as was the service. The breakfast you choose every evening for the next morning, you get coffee or tea, great Cao Lau or fried rice or omelette.., fresh juice and fruit or pancakes. Everything was really good and freshly made. One day we drove with the bikes to the beach, also around 20-30 minutes. The staff especially Moon is really nice, their english is quiet good and they provide helpful information on the city and trips without pushing you. They can arrange a motobike as well as airport transfer to Da Nang Airport, the driver came on time and everything worked out well.

We have just stayed at the resort for 9 nights and it was not long enough, I had the most relaxing holiday made only better by the friendly and helpful staff, they always welcomed you with a smile and a friendly greeting. the hotel manager introduced himself to us and made time to to chat with the customers at breakfast. The hotel is set in beautiful gardens with loungers and hammocks making this the perfect place to relax on a lazy sunny afternoon reading a book or sipping a cocktail. The pool area is quite small but this was fine for what we needed and all of the guests seemed to enjoy it whilst we were there. The hotel provides a shuttle bus service to town and private beach but I never used this during my stay we used the complimentary bicycle which was great fun and as Hoi An is very flat not a lot of effort is needed on a warm day so give it a go, also moped to hire opposite hotel £3 per day. Breakfast was included and there was a wonderful assortment of fresh fruit pastries and hot choices and an egg station for delicious omelettes or egg any way you desire. Their is a beautiful area just past the dining room where you can choose to eat or just relax on the comfortable sofas watching the river run past. We also took advantage of the Spa (a one hour treatment included in the price of the room daily so a couple can have half an hour treatment each or save it for a day and have the wonderful Vietnamese massage together it was great) the Spa area is beautiful and the girls know how to relax you it was great after a day on the bike. I could go on and on about how good this Hotel is but if you are taking time to read this review and are thinking about staying there please don't take my word for it book up you will love it I know I will definetly be going back. The owners of this villa are so kind and hospitable and my girlfriend and I had an amazing stay. It truly is a hidden gem! We stayed in the penthouse suite which had an awesome view of the coconut trees from the balcony. In the morning we would easily just dip in the pool for a swim. It’s away from the Ancient Town but still easily accessible by motorbike or bicycle. The place is new and just opened back in April. Highly recommend this place!

We loved to come home every day on our bikes. Only 15 minutes from Hoi An the old town. Our host was very warm and welcoming. Bought even a new bike because we were with the four of us .the scenery is great. Riverview. And you donot have to book a bikingtour anymore because the biketour was around here. will even cook for you , if you ask,for only 100000/person a really luxureus meal. We ended up singing Dutch and Vietnamees songs in their lovely garden. This place we will recommand to everyone if you love the rural live and the quietness . There is also a great restaurant, !the Field on walking distance.

Travelling with a 6 month baby, we wanted to find a place close to old town and not far away from the sea. Ylang Garden Villa was a perfect match! You can enjoy a stunning view to a river from the pool in the garden. It's peacful and quiet yet close to a local market where you can find loads of seafood, fruits and vegetables. The rooms were in top shape and all the amenities provided were actually there and in good condition. Also, the rooms and the entire hotel was clean, tidy and well maintained throughout our stay. Dang, Hanh and Nhan made us feel very welcome. They bring the service culture from working top hotels in Hoi An. Having now started their own butique hotel, they offer high quality service and a truly geniuine local experience. We wanted to avoid tourist traps and enjoy Vietnamese culture and food. They helped us navigate the best of Hoi An's cuisine by preparing us breakfast that locals enjoy and giving dinner recommendations where they take out their friends.

Everything was perfect: from our room to the kindness of the personnel, Laura & Thanh! The personnel is very friendly, always smiling and willing to help! As the villa is in between the beach and the historic city, you can have bikes from the hotel for free! They can organise all kind of trips for you as well! The hotel is new, cosy, clean, the swimming pool is great, so everything was perfect! The breakfast was also good, with delicious omelettes and home made pancakes. We had a wonderful stay at the Green Areca villa. It was actually the best hotel we had in 3 weeks in Vietnam! We definitely recommend this hotel!

The room (V02) was located on the second story, corner unit facing the river. The balcony faces the river, a great place to have chit chats or to do nothing at all. Bed is comfortable, toilet has a marble bath tub, and a separate shower stall. The compound is safe and secure, with a guard who is always on duty. The receptionists Truong and Thanh are friendly and speak good English, they were able to recommend places to visit and activities. Had a pleasant stay with Hoi An Village Villas!

I actually had to shed a tear when I left Lila Homestay, because the owners waving at at us from the street as we left in the shuttlebus for the airport reminded me of my grandparents. :'-) This is the most moving and overwhelming experience of vietnamese hospitality that we have experienced. We had a big doubleroom which balcony and a nice garden view, good aircondition and a nice bathroom. Sheets and towels were changed every day (we didn't expect that for a homestay). The bed was comfy and wifi worked very well. Every morning the hostess and her sister cooked us delicious traditional vietnamese breakfast in the kitchen of the big beautiful house, and they would hand us each a cold bottle of water for free everytime we left the house or came back. The hostess helped us book tours to My Son and Hue, and also booked a cheap but very nice shuttlebus to the airport. The location is halfway between beach and Hoi An Old Town, and for free you can borrow a bicycle and go both places which is very nice. If you are in for a motobike, the hostes will also book one of those for you for a good price. They really made us feel at home with great warmth and every effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The evening we came home from a 13 hour one day trip to Hue, we were very tired. The hostess gave us yoghurt like kids coming home from school, which was so sweet. We were not sure whether you could pay the hostess to cook you dinner (some homestays offer that) so we asked her, but that was not the case. However, she offered to go out and buy som food for us. We politely declined and told her that we would just do that ourselves, as we did not want to trouble her any further. So we went to our room to shower and after a short time our hostess knocked on the door. She had bought 4 banh mi sandwiches for us - and she didn't even want us to pay for it!! I booked for 24 nights with Agoda. Nice new villa with great pool, lots of shade and lounges around pool BUT hard to relax and enjoy because the villa is on a very busy road and directly across from a bottle depot with a lot of noisy trucks during the day. No discount for long stay, and charging for small bottled water to brush your teeth. Have travelled extensively since 1992 in Vietnam and have always had a complementary small bottled water in properties in this price range. Won’t be back!

The room was really nice and lightfull. The stuff does not speak english, just one of them. They dont have enought motorbike for rent but you can rent a funny bike. Everythink is far from there so you have to take a taxi or ride a bike. On the other hand it is nice, peacefull, relaxing place if you are lucky you dont have to listen noisy children. The breakfast was not a variety bufet, you have to choose one meal the day before but it was delicious.

We booked after seeing Water Coconut was a new villa style accommodation just on the outskirts of the city of Hoi An. We wanted some peace and tranquility after being in Hue for too many days, this was just what we wanted as a base to explore the city and beaches nearby. The owner made our stay incredibly enjoyable (we even booked an additional day because we loved it so much here!). The villas are very spacious beach style bungalow types. They are all ensuite and you have a little patio area that overlooks the fishing lake at the back. They reminded me of the type of accommodation you get when you book at those 5* resorts in Mauritius or Jamaica, it's a very chilled out tropical feel. The taxi ride out here took roughly 5 minutes. There are bicycles available for free, which you can use to travel into town or to the nearby beach, its actually a great location because you are nestled halfway between the town and the beach and both are 10-15 minutes away. You can also hire owner moped for the day which was cheap and let us travel further afield. The service he gave us was 5* throughout our stay and is a very friendly guy who will make you feel comfortable and feel at home. If you eat with the family at any point, you will be treated to food that is grown all on his land and from the fishing lake. It was a great experience being here and are truly sad to leave.

The resort is brand new with huge swimming pool, fully facilities, which affords you elegance without being over done. The breakfast is simple but very good quality, The rooms are spacious and a little terrace at the back door to helping you get some private space, greeny place ever! . Want to get out and stretch your legs, street life is just steps away, it takes around 10 mins in car to get into Ancient town. For me, its not really the big deal because they have motorbike rental service, or. For the early risers, lets get your mind freely in the pool. Enjoy coffee and a lite breakfast while viewing life on the rice fields! It was great family business,

We really recommend this place if you want a quiet and charming retreat while you stay in Hoi An. The staff is amazing. We felt very welcome and taken care of. Breakfast was the best we had in Vietnam with different local specialities every morning + banana pancakes and good coffe. Rooms are generous, absolutely clean with nice interior (only I wished we had bigger closet). You get free biyciles (or Scooter for 150.000 Dong) to ride to the city or your beach of choice. We will defintely come again next time we travel to Hoi An.

We booked to stay 2 nights at this hotel but ended up staying 5 nights because we loved it so much. The family who runs it is so so lovely!! When we first arrived they gave us ice coffees and fruit plates which they continued offering us everyday. They were extremely helpful and accommodating. The room is great! We stayed in a double room that had a tv with loads of English channels, bathroom is really modern and nice. The bed is massive! And so comfortable, definitely the best bed we had in whole of Asia. They give you cycle-bikes so you can cycle to the beach or into the center. To the center it takes 10 minutes and is one straight line so super simple. We loved having bikes so we could bike around all day! Location of the hotel is safe and quiet. We absolutely loved our stay here and can't recommend it highly enough!!
