Not worth the money”

When we got to Chumz, all rooms were full so they made us stay in a different hotel that I guess was their 'sister'. We actually stayed in Camiguin White Island Hotel. Our room was spacious but not well-kept. It was 1,600+ pesos per night w/o bfast, which is quite expensive but not at all worth the price. One side of the wall was wood, faucet was wonky, no drinking water provided. I don't recommend this hotel at all. Will never book again!

Nice guest house”

The place have a very good location. The rooms are clean. But the towels don't have a good smell and they look old. There is no hot water at all! There is no option at all for hot water.

NICE STAY”

Pros : very near to eateries, jump-off point to white island, souvenier stores, resorts and restaurants, approachable staff Cons: angry bird blankets :)

Ok for a backpacker expecting a simple room I suppose... but, at over A$50 per night, it isn't just a backpacker hostel.

Very basic. Cold, terrible shower. Beds okay but didn't get proper sheets. Old cartoon blanket. Never cleaned which is not so convenient when full of sand.

Worthy ”

My friends and I decided to check in near the beach front and yes indeed it's just a walking distance to the seashore. It's the departure area who are going to WHITE ISLAND. The bed is comfy enough to sleep (funny the blanket are designed with angry bird) and relax your tired body from a whole day tour. The aircon is also super cool (bring extra blanket) and TV is with cable Channels. Bathroom needs to be improved for it has no hot shower good things it's not that cold when we had our vacation. The water is overflowing when taking a bath. The lawn area is homey. They give free hot water for drinks. So, value for money is not bad if your a group of people. Most of all the owner is such a good and honest person. My friend left her baby G shock watch in the bed and when we asked she replied to us that she found it. We asked her to send it thru LBC and yes she did for as long as we'll shoulder the amount of courier fee. Thanks to CHUMS for making our life comfy and easy during our stay.

Very nice place”

Veryb good.....quiet and generally good wifi. It would have been nice to have a water heater. Other than that....it was good. I will come again....for sure.

Group Travelers”

We were not able to stay in this hotel. We arrived beyond 9pm and when we asked the owner, she said that our reservation has been cancelled and already given to other walk-in guest. We told her that we have a confirmed/paid reservation ans showed to her the receipt. However, she still insisted that our reservation has been cancelled and it should be our responsibility to contact the hotel if we will arrive late. She searched for an alternative room at the nearby lodge for us to stay. However, the room we stayed was cheap, dirty, smells old and not worth the price that we paid. We're very disappointed.

Moderately good, water supply is a little bit small which not entitle for one star hotel.

Very good experience! The staff were very very accommodating, the place was literally a stone throw away, and the place was very cozy. Definitely come back to this lodge the next time we visit Camiguin. :)

It was very nice. So near to almost everything like restaurant, stores and the entrance to white sand. I gave a 1 out of 5 rating to food/dining coz they don't offer food but there are really nice resto around where you can just walk in minutes... Highly recommended...

New, simple and good location”

The best thing I like about the hotel is the location. Its just 100 meters to the beach that holds the boats going to White Island. Good restaurants near by as well. Small wooden made stalls near by and souvenir shops. The room is relatively big and clean. Shower is big as well. It has cable TV and wifi. I suggest get a room near the their restaurant so the wifi signal can reach your room. Staff are very friendly. They can cool rice for you if you need. What was a bit dissapointing was there was no heater in the shower (not a big problem for me, but surprising). And no house keeping until requested. Blankets were very thin. Had to switch down the thermostat of the aircon to keep warm. I would recommend this hotel to a groups of 4. You can fit decently 4 people.

Das Hotel liegt genau an der Anlegestelle nach Waith Island.Von dem Hotel aus kann man alle Sehenswüdigkeiten gut erreichen. Schön ist auch das man eine kleine Terasse hat.Essen kann man gegenüber in einem Ressort. Die Inhaberin ist sehr freundlich und hilft wo sie kann. Ich kann nur sagen das ich dort viel erlebt habe. Nur die Kühlung ist sehr laut. Aber man gewöhnt sich dran.
