we are a couple celebrating our first anniversary in Camiguin. We chose Highlands on the net as we want a quite place located on the upper part of the province. The experience was truly memorable. Nice garden landscape, swimming pool when we arrive was not that clean but it is understandble since rain poured out that early morning so hard. We had a great night sleep as the place is really quite.Food was great too and staff are friendly. Picking lanzones fruits at the back of the hotel was a great experience as well. Since it is not yet harvest time, we only pick enough to satisfy our taste buds. We will definitely go back should God allows.

Excellent pool and food!”
There is no better value in Camiguin. Get a 3rd floor room and you can leave the door open and enjoy a cool seabreeze blowing through the room. Very friendly and accommodating staff, generous bacon portions with the American breakfast and the pool is flawless, you can swim for hours with no damage to your eyes and skin. Very romantic location to fall in love with your spouse all over gain even while your kids are screaming and playing. We will be back.

Family-friendly mountain resort”
Camiguin Highland Resort is about 10mins away from the town proper which makes it inaccessible from restaurants and markets. There's a free shuttle going to and from the town but with limited time. During our stay, the water heater was not functioning very well at the second floor. However, despite all these inconveniences, the staff were very helpful and friendly enough throughout our stay. Plus, the food at their restaurant was great. My son loved the Calamares.

A bit out of the way”
The Camiguin Highland resort was pretty far from both the port and from the main town on the island. The hotel can arrange transport but it is expensive, expect to pay 500 pesos for a lift from the port in Benoni. The room was clean and comfortable enough, it didn't have a fridge though so you had to buy drinks etc from the hotel. The pool looked nice from the restaurant but when I went closer it seemed slightly abandoned, with frogs having taken over. If you're comfortable sharing with the local wildlife I guess it would be ok.

Great getaway”
My friends and I had a very relaxing stay in this resort. The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. Our room was big enough for 4 people and even had an extra bed for our belongings. Their pool is nice although it was freezing when we decided to swim. This resort is perfect for the hot summer season as it's located in the mountains -- very cold and relaxing plus it's far from the city :)

enjoyable but disappointed with facilities”
The hotel was clean and quiet. WiFi largely no signal except in lobby and dining room. Credit card connection didn't work at times. Pool table and table tennis were in a dirty outer building. The central building housing the rooms and dining were great but away from that the facilities were run down.the children's play area also run down. The garden around the pool was pretty and tidy. No cake or karaoke, karaoke would be rented from an external supplier if requested. The resort is away from the main beach and diving resorts and so renting a van with driver is a little more expensive. Very easy to arrange tours at the port. The horses were small and very thin. The resorts van was not able to collect us from the port despite having arranged this some time before we arrived.

They dont give enough room here to really write a review. This place is excellent. beautiful flawlessly maintained pool and nice restaurant. A quiet, cool mountain breeze means you don't even need the aircon in the room. Hot water, nice clean bathtub. This place is perfect for a romantic getaway or family vacation.

Nice clean hotel with a view”
The hotel is located on a highland. The road in front of the hotel needs pavement. It's kind of old at first glance. The staffs are very friendly. On the way to my room at the second floor, I saw beautiful views of trees and flowers down the hill. The air's very fresh. The room is very clean and comfortable. It's not bad for an over night stay.

It was a pleasant stay. I would recommend it with my friends. The staff at the hotel is very friendly specially the manager who made our stay a memorable one! Very accomodating and made sure we are comfortable! Good job for the manager and staff!

Needs Proper Maintenance”
The resort was in a huge property. Lots of space to do lots of things. However, some parts seemed worn out, just like the playground. The room that we stayed in was clean and comfortable. However, the TV only had one channel, the shower didn't have enough pressure, and the swimming pool in the resort was a bit dirty (with leaves and a few insects floating around). The room rate (at P2,250) was also kind of expensive considering that it didn't include breakfast. Overall, I think this resort could do better. They should be keen on maintenance though.

A refreshing little gem”
My first day was unpleasant because a huge storm had knocked out the wifi and strewn debris. In the morning at 5:30 am a large group of travelers began slamming room doors and yelling - continued yelling in the lobby for an hour and the noise carried to my room. The staff was kind enough to let me change to a room on a higher floor and the wifi resumed. The staff is very kind and accommodating and the pool and other amenities are very nice. The sightseeing is easy to arrange and the sights are wonderful. The air was fresh and clean and a little cooler at this altitude. On the hottest days at the pool there were nice breezes. It appeared some things in the facility could use some updating. The ping pong (table tennis) table was dirty and the net was broken. Some areas could use repainting.

beautiful hotel, nice layout”
We were surprised to find this beautiful hotel at the end of the road up the mountains. The staff were accomodating. The pool was inviting, we're sorry we didn't come prepared to swim. The open restaurant area is a good place to hang out. The room was well-furnished, the bathrooms very clean. There was a veranda in our room that overlooked a pond with koi. Very relaxing place to stay in.

We enjoyed the trip going up to its location (it is located in the mountain) because you can see lush greenery. The downside is that, you pay 500 pesos (for a hired multicab or hotel service) each time you go up and each time you go down.

So far this hotel has one of the best customer service, though it's location is quite far from the highway. Food is great and the room is comfortable. Despite being a little costly, it's still value for money given the comfort it gives you.

Not a good place to stay”
The place is far from the center of camiguin like restaurant and groceries. The facilities are too bad like the shower doesnr famunction well, their AC will suddenly stop in the middle of the night and it really disturbed us because we were in the peak of our sleep. This hotel is an old place and some parts of the room were damaged, like flooring, walls, chairs, CR, etc. the price is too much for the place and not convenient specially for a group of travellers. Dont go to this place!!
