It was a wonderful time all in all! We’ve got to experience Camiguin Island during the day and we get to relax at night in the resort comfortably. Great ambiance! Our room was just at the front of the pool, it was lovely! I have a request though, I hope wifi signal would be accessible in the entire resort next time. 😬

Big rooms near Mambajao”
It has a pool, free breakfast (eggs, toast, coffee), big rooms, and a hot shower. The sunset view is ok and it is has a big community room on the second floor. The wifi is really bad. You can't get it in your room. It is only at the community area. I did a speed test and it was 0.4 Mbps up and down. Weak. The bed was comfortable.

the staff are polite, friendly and honest. after breakfast we went out of the resort to toam around the place and we realized that one of oit phone was left behind at the table outside our room, we came back to the resort around 130pm and the staff approached and informed us that they saw the phone and they put it back inside our room.(they have keys to the room.) the place is a liitle bit old but it was clean, but the good thing about this resort are the staff they are bety attentive and helpful.no complains.

Room Update urgently needed ”
Pro: staff very fiendly and always doing their best. Cons: Rooms interior and design old. First room (Nr 2 at pool) has mould in the bath (maybe somewhere else). The smell covers the whole room. Fortunately we could change the room after one night. That one was like the first but without smelling like molder. Can't leave the door open to refresh rooms air. There's no protection against Moskitos. Can't open the curtains for daylight and windows as well. Behind the curtains very dirty and no protection against Moskito. In summery you need no window. We only had breakfast and can recommend the pancakes only. The bread seemed to be some older. One day we got a sandwich for breakfast as a doggy bag for hiking which started at 5:00 am in the morning. Thank you for being so kind to prepare this but after two bites I stopped eating the sandwich cause of the nauseous taste of the added bacon. Anyhow I felt sick afterwards and suffered three days from diarrhea! Sorry, but that is the truth!

Dated Resort in a Decent Location”
This hotel is dated but adequate for a place to stay esp. if you get a deal with breakfast. The staff are "OK" if you understand they are typical "live in" type employees, i.e. very casual and semi-efficient. Say what you want about the pool, but it is green and cloudy with frogs hanging out on the edges so you could not pay me to swim in there... Beach is decent just a few meters walk you can swim in very nice clean / clear water though don't expect white sands. Overall, this is a casual place, functional and homey with very local feel.

Really really quiet, no TV but fun to watch the sea and the fisherman. Good hop off place for seeing the volcanoes and sites if you have a motorbike.

Renovation nightmare”
Stayed here for three nights. No power even though there was a generator. Staff informed us it was a hassle to turn on. Moved us twice. Internet doesn’t work and the bar was closed as was the pool for renovations. Reception Staff were terrible but cleaners were lovely

Ocean View Room To Die For”
The Golden Sunset Beach Club on Camiguin Island is an older, small rustic property right on the beach, nestled under the massive canopy of magnificent old trees. The staff is friendly without being fake. I like that. The menu is limited, but what they offer they do well. They have a well stocked bar, but beer seems to be limited to local beer only, San Mig Lite and San Miguel Pale Pilsen were all I recall seeing. They lose points for not having Red Horse, but they get points for having ice cold beer and a frosted mug. Rooms are reasonably priced but limited. Maybe there are 10-15 rooms in the entire resort. Our room was massive with nothing but ocean outside the patio window. It was clean enough but don't expect a finely manicured resort. This place has a few rough edges, there are dogs around and if it rains you can expect some of the pathways to be flooded. Great value, nice place!

Quiet, tropical place with a beautiful beach view”
This was my first time visiting Camiguin and staying at the Golden Sunset Beach Club made my trip so much more enjoyable. The place is very beautiful and tropical and anywhere on the property you have fantastic views of the ocean; you can also view White Island and in the distance you can see Bohol. The restaurant was deilicious and had a wide choice of filipino, western and international dishes. The staff were very friendly and curteous and were always willing to help. Anytime I needed help with an excursion the front desk staff would call and make the arrangements for me. They were helpful for a variety of excursions like snorkeling, boat ride to White Island, motorbike rental, multicab back to port, etc... The resort has about ten rooms so most of the time when I was sititng in the restaurant or relaxing by the pool I felt like I had the place to myself. I highly recommend the beach front rooms because they are not only spacious but you also have a small porch with a table and chairs that are almost on the water. The view from room was amazing, I could lay in bed and see the ocean. The beach is very quiet and not commercialized at all. Every night I would sit on my porch sipping on a drink while watching the sun go down and the local fisherman heading out. It was bliss, I loved this place.
