Camlann Cottages are one of the best-designed budget accommodations I've tried”
When I realized shortly after booking that Camlann Cottages had no airconditioning units, I panicked. Luckily, I regained my bearings and looked up the reviews: the lack of a/c was a non-issue as the cottage had cool interiors. I was skeptical at first, but when we got there, I quickly learned why: each cottage had a nipa (thatched) roof for good insulation and had big windows and a high ceiling so the cool air circulated freely even during warm or hot days. The interiors had a local country feel to it: "vigan tiles" on the floor and counter, brick and concrete partitions, and wooden posts and exposed trusses. The layout was also well thought off, as the kitchen, sala, rooms and bathrooms allowed for seamless traffic among the guests. You can cook, store or prepare meals without hassle as appliances and kitchenware are provided. The location is ideal for travelers with their own vehicles or those who want a less crowded area. There isn't much of a staff but they're helpful.

Nice place”
Camlann Cottages: six beautiful self-contained cottages located 6km from Dumaguete centre on the road to Valencia. The atmosphere was peaceful and green. The manageress Sylivania was very welcoming and provided all info regarding excursions. The cottages are big, with cooking facilities, living room space and bedroom. There is no aircon, just fans. but at night time the weather was cool. Dumaguete centre is a 15 minute tike ride away. The only problem encountered wa that there was noone around when we wanted to check out. A phone call to Agoda fixed that within minutes. Will definitely consider this place again if ever we return to Negros.

Highly Recommended”
Yes, highly recommended when visiting Dumaguete. Big place, actually a bungalow house w/ 2 big rooms, living & dining room (kitchen set as well). We went to Siquijor and arrived back very late (fiesta season in the island, had hard time taking boat trip thus decided to stay overnight), so we checked out very late when we get back as well but the owner was very understanding about what happened and allowed us for late checkout (3:30PM) with no charge. THUMBS UP!!!!

A very comfortable place to stay The Manager Ms Savvy was extremely helpful and very cooperative She was very knowledgeable on the kitchen utensils and stocked a good set of crockery and Electrical appliances Even a 20 liter water dispenser was provided - A thoroughly good stay was ensured
