I recommend the Canary Boutique Hotel to anyone going to Hue. We were surprised at how nice the room was. We got a great deal on agoda which made this hotel a fantastic value! We had a comfortable room and a really nice bathtub. It has been awhile since I have been in a room with a bathtub and this one was great. The rooms were really clean, and they were serviced everyday. The breakfast was good and The staff were really helpful, friendly and attentive.

Spacious room with excellent service”
We enjoyed our stay at Canary Boutique Hotel. The staff are helpful and friendly, give us so much information on how to walk around and where to get local street foods. The room and bathroom still look new although it's been 3 years old. Highly recommended hotel to stay at Hue!

Friendly hotel”
I really enjoyed my stay at the Canary Boutique Hotel because the staff were so helpful and friendly. As soon as arrive I was given some fresh fruit and a cold drink. The room was spacious and the bathroom was very modern and clean. The staff rembered my name and I really liked them saying it when they saw me, made me feel really comfortable. They were knowledgale and organised a city tour for me which I enjoyed. The only reason I didn't give it 10 stars was they organised my sleeper bus to Hanoi and it was absolutely disgusting and filthy, not the hotels fault but they should check the buses they use.

Amazing service, great staff, location and value”
As mentioned above, highly recommend this hotel. Tri the owner was awesome and really generous . He let us check in really early, gave us a nice room and a discounted price for hiring a motorbike. His staff Ruby, Catherine and the boys are also really sweet and helpful. Always smiling, have loads of useful info and tips and are generally just really accommodating. Rooms are clean and well serviced. For the money you pay, you can't go wrong. Worth arranging all your needs through these guys, such as tours, bikes onward travel etc. It's much safer and hardly any difference in price. Thanks to all at Canary Boutique Hotel for an excellent stay.

Outstanding hotel”
We were a little dubious about booking a room at Canary Boutique hotel as the room only costed $6 - something must be wrong with it surely! But it turned out to be one of the best hotels in our 2 month SE Asia trip. Our room was spacious, modern and clean with an actual shower cubicle in the bathroom, usually you just get a wet room. The hotel is down a quiet alley but is close to bars, restaurants etc. The staff were so lovely, they all spoke great English and were always happy to help with queries about tours and onward travel. We put in some laundry when we checked in early afternoon and it was washed and ironed for us when we got back from dinner that evening. Breakfast was yummy too! We really don't have a bad thing to say about this place!

Simply outstanding”
This is probably one of the best hotels you'll find in Hue. I arrived at around 7 in the morning, but I could check in immediately. The room was nice, clean and cosy. The hotel's location is perfect: about 20-25 minute walk from the old citadel and there's a lot of restaurants and bars within a 5 minute walking distance. Breakfast is included and is really tasty. The Bun Bo Hue is exceptionally good and same goes for the coffee. Staff are extremely courteous and friendly and will help you if you want to rent a bike, motorbike or need a bus ticket out of Hue. I booked my ticket to HCM City here. Staff will do an enormous amount of effort to make your stay as enjoyable as possible

Great stay at Canary Boutique Hotel”
Our stay at Canary Boutique Hotel was great. We had a room on the first floor and even if it was just by the front desk we never heard the staffs at night. The room was clean and cosy and we had a fully closing shower. The breakfast is good and the service fast. There's not many places to eat but they add tables if needed. You can book tours and transportation with them and they even carried our big backpack for us! The day of the check out we were taking a night bus so during the day we did a bicycle tour and a cooking class, we were able to use a room to shower before our departure wich was nice. The staffs and the manager are all quite young but very professional and helpfull!

Wonderful, this hotel is very good for stay HUE”
We stayed in HUE only 1,5 days in this hotel but we feel very satisfied, the hotel is really new but don't have coat smell, everything is very nice, clean & high-class. The staffs is very friendly & helpful, when we arried the hotel, they give us a free map of Hue & guide us where to go, what to eat, borrow us the raincoat,... and the receptionist was wearing a violet "áo dài", very beautiful, very "Hue"...If we come to Hue again, we will stay in this hotel again, for sure.

Our rooms were booked for Canary Boutique hotel, but when we arrived the staff told us with many apologies that rooms there got oversold. So they took us to Canary Hotel. Our room was amazing! Staff was so friendly and nice to us. Breakfast was delicious and you had great choices. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Unbelievably high standard of room for the price”
Canary Hotel is a newly equipped small hotel with only 8 rooms on four floors. There is no lift, which didn't bother me but might be an issue for someone with mobility problems if he/she is given a room on the top floor. The room I had was delightful, fitted out to a standard that would be a credit to a far more expensive hotel. The owner/manageress was exceptionally friendly and helpful, providing every assistance I needed for my onward travel plans, while another member of staff was able to arrange a tour of the Royal Mausoleums at very short notice. The hotel is about 25 minutes' walk from The Forbidden City and 5-10 minutes' walk from the boat station on the river. There are lots of excellent restaurants within 5 minutes of the hotel. Dining facilities at the hotel are minimal. The entrance foyer doubles up as a breakfast area, and breakfast is fairly basic, but given the price, standard of service and standard of rooms, the hotel overall is outstanding value for money

Perfect for Couples!”
Very nice hotel, furnished very beautifully. Best bathroom I've ever had in Vietnam for this price. Beautiful shower head inside fully closing shower doors! Hot water doesn't last forever. The room cannot be beat for this price! They have limited seating for breakfast. Breakfast was delicious. Especially if you like Vietnamese food. Soups are excellent for cold rainy Hue. The staff was excellent. So very very helpful. They speak English very well. Motorbike rentals are a bit on the expensive side (close to 180,000VND). Try not to get a room on the lowest floor. Every morning for breakfast, you can hear EVERYONE downstairs from you. Was not able to sleep in at all. Also, there is no smoking in the lobby. But late one night, the smell of cigarette smoke trickled in from the staff downstairs. Especially for those non-smokers/asthmatics, beware. High recommended otherwise!

A lovely respite from the heat!”
We loved our stay at Canary Boutique. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and always happy to chat and help us organise our trip. The breakfasts in the morning were very good - I recommend the banana pancakes! The location is close to restaurants and bars, but in a nice, quiet area. The room is large and comfortable, with a bath in the bathroom! We loved our stay, and wouldn't hesitate to here again!

excellent room and value for money”
the sister of the canary hotel on the main road about 100 metres away is a small hotel recently constructed. The room had a comfortable double bed with flat screen tv and a sofa to sit on and modern A/C . They provide a well presented simple breakfast and the staff are helpful with where to go and how to get their, they also organised a place in a bus to Hoi An. It is within walking distance of the river and meter taxis are readily available on the main road nearby. HINT - If taking a taxi make a note of the main road nearby and use the Canary hotel nearby as a starting point, it is down a small road about 50metres up the road but with a big illuminated sign visible from the main road

Great value and lovely staff”
We only stayed one night but really enjoyed Hue. The room was large, clean and great value for the money we paid. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we ended up booking a private car with them to see the surrounding tombs which was hassle free. The free breakfast was limited but good. The hotel is a 5 min walk to the backpacker area with lots of restaurants and bars, and 30 mins to Citadel. Highly recommended staying here!

Amazing Rooms”
This brand new hotel is lovely and eager to please. Located around the corner from its big sister the Canary, its staff are very eager to please, and they have experience in hotels. Had a great welcome. Rooms were cheap and beautifully appointed. Any issue was quickly resolved (one a/c wouldn't shut off and it was promptly fixed - unfortunately by someone who stole money that was poorly concealed. The hotel fully reimbursed my friend no problem). Would definitely stay here again and recommend. Maybe not to single female travellers as the location is in non-busy street off the main drag and down an ally and we would have felt uneasy if we were on our own.

Beautiful little hotel”
We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Day and night Staff always smile and show nice local dish eatery around. Very quiet. We also booked few tours with the hotel which are reasonable price. Thanks to Ruby and all staff for making our stay very enjoyable. Definitely back again and strongly recommended. Note that there is another Canary Hotel on main street and this is little one in a lane way.

A hidden gem”
The hotel was excellent, had a great stay here. For breakfast, I'd recommend getting the Hue Special Pho. The room was pretty elegant and the TV had western channels so you can watch a movie or news after a long day. The concierge was a great help for taking bags upstairs and the owner was super helpful ordering a motorbike to do the Hai Van pass, and super helpful in general
