Amazing style but not just for looks; it works and is very comfortable which is the whole point right? The hotel is within walking distance of Canberra City Centre (about 5-10 mins walk). The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel has convenient underground car parking. The amenities are basic, free coffee and tea in rooms but you pay for everything else including breakfast. There is no pool or gym.
Arriving in the morning we were greeted with a smile and felt welcomed. Easy check in, easy taking care of storing our luggage. When we returned early in the afternoon, a coffee made the wait for the room to be finished shorter - need to mention WE were earlier then check in time, so this was a nice touch after they rushed to catch up after a busy weekend. Disappointing however i was told my request for a quiet room was granted however two additional people were booked/enabled access at midnight which was rather disruptive to myself and the other guest.
