Dissapointed”

Arrived around 9 in the evening. Staff were not even aware of agoda. Room looks old with cockroaches and some insects and dusk. Breakfast was not served. Pool is so dirty!!! We're no even able to go to the beach. Hotel looks abandoned!!

Great place!”

Hospitality, service and cleanliness

This is a great place to stay in a neat and safe city in The Philippines. Candon City is a beach town and tourist area but the Filipino culture is sound. The town and area are safe and the people are great. The management at the Candon Beach resort was very hospitable and friendly. I made friends with most of the management and workers. The resort is right on the beach and the weather and beach is near perfect. My room was clean and bug free. The pool and outside area was clean also. My only complaint is that the resort needs to have a computer kiosk for Internet use, for people who stay there. There is WiFi but that may not help someone who needs Internet and doesnt want to travel into town. The resort is in a small village near town, about 3km away. It costs about 3.00 USD to go into town. I will be back to this amazing peaceful place!

nearness to the beach - swimming pool large and clean - desk person was very friendly and helpful.

we were offered an upgrade but the upgraded room had cockroaches in the next room we were showed, the toilet didn't flush and there was no tv. room we settled on was ok but we had to crawl under a table to connect the tv, the curtains to the back of the facility did not close fully so there was always the possibility of some one looking in. in the morning the when we sent to shower we found out that the plug to direct the water from the spout to the shower head was broken so no shower. used a pail and to dipper to shower. the pool was nice and was open late. this is the reason that we chose the resort because we wanted to swim in a pool. we wanted a walk on the beach in the morning and the beach was quite clean and just a few people there. will we stay there again.
