    GREAT LOCATION”

I would recommend the capsule experience. The facilities were very clean. The bath very relaxing. The location excellent to see Shibuya. The only 2 negatives is 1. the locker if you open it do not let it close as you will need to repay and 2. Snorers!!!! during the night. Have fun and enjoy just like I did!!

    Perfect location for Nightlife”

The major reason for me to go there is Halloween, and this capsule hotel is perfect for that. The bath is good, clean enough for me. The most obvious bad thing of this hotel would be the escalator being too slow especially if many people were using it as the same time, being the only reason to deduce by 1 mark of facility. Also if you do not like sleeping in a capsule, this might not be for you. But for a popular place like Shibuya, cost would be much higher for other place I believe.

    First Capsule Hotel experience”

The Hotel seems to be especially for japanese businessman. I was not very welcomed as a foreign travler. It is very loud inside the capsules (ear plugs needed!). Not even the TV inside the tube was working. The Hotel is located in the red light area of Shibuya.

    Cheap Clean Location

Great and inexpensive compared to surrounding hotels stayed with 15 year old nephew (thought it was fun climbing into capsule to sleep!) Also had a great hot sauna and shower floor. We went down to the famous crossing watched all the well dressed beautiful people then ate at great cheap restaurants. Train station, Shibuya was close and easy access to everywhere in Tokyo, airport etc and cheap and definitely best way to get around Tokyo great people watching. Bit of a red light area but was very discreet and polite also great shopping for clothing and electronics one massive store for girls only. Hardly any tourists (was winter) and was always busy everyday and night all week. Highly recommended!

    Good value capsule hotel experience”

Decent price, decent location, as usual good authentic capsule hotel experience.

Quite pleasant stay. Staff speaks very decent English. Not a very new capsule hotel but you are not there to lament the not-so-new facilities, you choose here for the price, location and capsule hotel experience. This is not the first capsule hotel I've stay and to be honest it's not the best but it's not too bad at all too. One thing to note and a very important one : the locker they provide for you is way too small too narrow to accommodate any hard case luggage. If you have any back pack you might be able to sqeeze your stuff in by reconfiguration your bags content. You will know it when you see the 'slim' lockers.

Value for money stay, convenient location”

it was a comfortable stay near Shibuya. train station is about a 10 minute walk and there are many eateries around that are open all night. You can leave your big luggage outside your capsule and its safe. The sauna is a new experience for those who are in Japan for the first time. overall satisfied!

    Interesting experience”

As I was in Japan I thought I would try a capsule hotel. Generally I am pleased I had the experience but if personal space is important its not for you. We all had a little pod to sleep in and showers are communal which may but some people off. There is also a hot tub to bathe in which I thought was nice. The reception staff were lovely and could speak some basic English. They also give free bread in the morning. The two drawbacks to this place were that you cannot leave your bag at the hotel if you have an evening flight and there are no locks on the capsules so can never leave valuables in the hotel. All in all though I liked it :)

    Lat resort accomodation”

Cost, shared facilities, comfort of beds

First thing to note. This hotel should advertise upfront its 'No Tattoos allowed' policy on the website, not just at the front door. I not only had to cover up when I checked in (I had paid already without being informed of the rule and had nowhere else to sleep, even in the unlikely event of a refund being given), and because the bathing/changing rooms were shared, and visited by staff regularly I was unable to make use of them. Rules are strict here, and no exceptions are given. The staff are efficient, but in no way of the standard I had come to expect of Japanese hospitality and courtesy. Next, the baggage storage facilities consist of a small locker, roughly big enough to hold an overnight bag. If you have a suitcase, or a big backpack, you are going to need to find a place to leave them. I left my luggage in a locker at the station, overnight. Most of the facilities are relatively clean, and the capsule beds moderately comfortable. There is a TV in the capsule. Maybe this is a selling point, but with the surrounding capsules creaking a little too fast, punctuated by the occasional moans of release, a light sleeper might want some ear plugs. Its a little hard to find, being up the hill in the back streets of Shibuya. I walked passed it three times before identifying it. Thank god for Google Maps. Once you know how to get there, its only a 10 minute walk from Shibuya station. Don't expect to show up without a booking at the last minute. The night I stayed had been booked out solidly two days before. All-in-all, I would never stay there again, and think twice before staying in any other capsule hotel.

Do not stay here if you have a choice”

    Location only.

Do not stay here if you have a choice. This is not a reference of what Capsule Hotels should be. I have stayed in many capsule hotels but this one is the oldest. There are better ones coming up like 9h(hours) and First Cabin. If you can, look out for those hotels first and take this one as the last resort. They also do NOT allow you to keep your luggage with them prior to check in or after you check-out.

    Continence, WiFi and cleanliness

Been to Tokyo many times and this is one good stopover place. Locker certainly won't fit your cabin bag or backpack but you can store by the side pillar (remove valuable items). Everything is complete and no worries on shampoo, soap, toothbrush and hair gel. Area is good for ramen and shopping too.
